I have used this pattern over and over and found it helpful. I know it's not technically a pattern, but if you have any old tie around it's not difficult to figure out. Lots of angry commenters about the music. I find this hilarious! Obviously not my personal first choice, but i certainly have the patience to watch the video and enjoy what I learned. Thanks again!
Awesome video! I found this halfway through my first attempt at tie-making, and it came in such handy. It truly is an easy skill to learn and the results are beautiful. I saved the original deconstructed tie for my pattern, and use fusible flannel for my lining. Totally worth a try! 🙌
Thank you The video was easy to understand. I go to the thrift store to buy a tie to make the pattern. I made ties before, just needed a to refresher. 👍🏾
Love the tutorial, but the drum beats make it really hard to persevere through. They’re too monotonous. Sorry. But your tutorial is great! Wish I could watch it over and over and turn the beats off. Any chance the music could be changed, or just removed?
Thank you so much for this video, followed your instructions. My first attempt turned out not to bad. Looking forward to more helpful videos from your channel 😊
I want to make ties but the material I want is really expensive and rare to find. Is there a way to use more than one fabric on a tie to reduce the waste on expensive materials? If not, I'll probably just make bowties...
For the liner, what are you using? Like an interfacing fabric? I found a white one for apparel that seems good but wanted to double check. Like the video!
I found this hard to follow. Could have been easier to follow and understand with wider framing of the shots and not as close up as to easier identify the cut pieces and their orientation for the different steps. Thanks.
hi iam trying to start manufacturing neckties, however im having a hard time finding how to get them manufactured. Would you happen to know what the best way to get that done
wait what did you just leave the pins inside the tie?? you said to pin the lining to the wrong side of the tie, then you just started stitching it together... i’m really confused
Good question! No, I pull them out as I stitch together, I don't leave any pins inside. I'm working on an updated version of this video which I hope to release early in the new year. Sorry for the confusion

This was so helpful and well demonstrated thank you ❤❤❤
Excellent tutorial. Thank you so much for sharing your process!

Wow, great tutorial 💗
You will surely learn how to sew a neck tie to this video💗😇

Ties are so expensive too!
hi iam trying to start manufacturing neckties, however im having a hard time finding how to get them manufactured. Would you happen to know what the best way to get that done
oh yea, tell us, how has your necktie manufacturing going? why would you ask such a dumb question after watching THIS video????

Tried to rebuild my Hermès, impossible... The silk is uncontrollable, cannot even be ironed. Plus the free floating core thread, god...
i really want to make a tie for my dad but literally, all of these videos don't have any measurements smh
I deconstruct an existing tie to create the pattern, hence why this doesn't have any measurements.

Making a tie is more difficult than I thought
The soundtrack is a killer
