This format is so good! Informative and entertaining, showing us every single bit of your training and explaining WHY you do what you do. Which you barely find anywhere else these days.

I'm just a fan of everything you decide to do. I've learned so much from your videos and have applied a ton of things to my own lifting and have seen success. More videos like these are definitely welcomed.
Side bar, are you currently on an upper/lower split? Bench 2x a week, Squat/deadlift 2x a week? Interested in how to approach volume working with only 2 days for each lift.

Awesome vid bro loved the struggle at the end hahaha. Also worth noting, using BPC157 and TB500 for two weeks could help you hugely with the shoulder issue.

Not sure if you have tried the “up the back” rotator cuff stretch or not, but it really helps with a lot of shoulder pain caused from benching.

  • @stephenmetz2044

I'm sure you know. If you find a great chiropractor to do direct work on your shoulder. Scapula. And release neck tension im hoping that would help you. I went from one side not firing to them getting my range of motion and strength back. Again. Have to find a good one. Which is hard. It will bring stability back to your scap. Good luck. Love the videos.

That chaos push-up looks cool af. Typically what I’ll do is do a 2x25 with 25 lb dumbbells. Warming up with a little bit bigger of a stretch and rom than you would on bench basically. Couple that with some antagonist rowing and I’m good to go

In a fat-loss caloric deficit context, do you prefer full body or splits? However, thank you for all your knowledge you’re sharing. This channel is easily the best one on fitness material.

Great bench press set up sir. How can we learn to such a nice scapular depression and retraction and maintaining the same posture throughout the pressing movement.

Hey Brendan, nice video, big fan of your work and your channell, i know you are a big fan of upper lower training splits, but IF for some reason i can't do, i came up with these two 4days training splits and would like to know which of them would you approve it? Push Pull Legs rest Full body ; or Chest shoulders and arms, legs, Back and arms, rest Full body? im not a powerfilter but my goal is to get strong and muscular as possible

Just curious why you are implementing a longer pause on the incline bench? Enjoyed the video. Badass workout, belt-less OHP after heavy bench AND incline/row super set brutal af.

I did the same earlier this year due to my kids’ schedule/ putting in a garage gym which made it more convenient and it’s honestly been a game changer. I spend a little more time warming up, but I have had some of my best training sessions between 4-5am!

That's honestly a pretty common occurrence for me too. I've found really focusing on my control makes my performances more consistent. You might have to use a little less weight but being able to build on a consistent performance is something I think people overlook. Another thing you could do it vary your rep range week to week.

Man, for your shoulder pain, your elbows are maybe too wide. My coach told me to have them wider than I usually have. I got à tendinitis 2 weeks after.
Your elbows must follow your wrists on the grip. That's the key
