Tails 🦊 and Knuckles 🥊: Brain and Brawn
Knuckles 🥊 and Amy 🔨: Power Duo / Heavy Hitters
Tails 🦊 and Cream 🐇: Flight Couple / Soaring Sidekicks
Knuckles 🥊 and Cream 🐇: Fight or Flight
Sonic 🦔🔵 and Cream 🐇: Brother and Sister / Teacher and Student
Tails 🦊 and Amy 🔨: Mind or Matter

It felt weak on the part of the developers to not give all the combinations team names.
For real though.
Of, like, ten character combinations, only four have team names (three of which are teams with Sonic). Would it have been that difficult to come up with six more team names?

Tails and Cream: Plane Pilots
Knuckles and Cream: Sweet and Sour
Sonic and Cream: Fast Flight
Tails and Amy: Brain and Brawn

I feel like "Brain and Brawn" fits better for Tails and Knuckles than it does for Tails and Amy.
I'm not entirely sure, but I think this was the first Sonic game I ever played and I ever heard of Sonic. Great memories

I figured the best combos for every Player Character:
Sonic & Tails (it's basically Rank S for stages)
Tails & Amy (Tails' flight movement is greatly boosted and he can whack enemies in the air with the Piko Piko Hammer)
Knuckles & Tails (The upward punch A.K.A. the Shoryuken is damn good in it's hitbox and movement, don't fop

Amy & Sonic (AMY SPINDASHING AND SPINJUMPING CONFIRMED!?)
Cream & Knuckles (Sonic Advance 2 Cream is making her comeback!)
Also i figured the special abilities that certain characters can give to each other no matter the combination:
Sonic: allows others to enter Boost Mode
Tails: allows others to perform tricks after using a spring, ramp or at the end of a rail
Knuckles: allows others to deal more meele damage to bosses and break walls faster
Cream: allows homing attack perfomance
Amy: trades you great boosts in gameplay for the cost of no insta-ball jump
Amy has been spindashing and spinjumping since Sonic Adventure 2... But for her Gameboy Advance appearances, Sonic Advance 2 confirmed that (Amy is a gift character who can be unlocked by gathering all the emeralds and defeating each character's route)
Why Amy spindashing is a good thing? That takes away her uniqueness hammers aside, I think its better with Knuckles since she gets Super Peel Out/Amy Dash and a Giant Piko Piko hammer
Sonic is better with Cream. Air dash is the best thing about the Advance games.
Tails is best with Sonic because Sonic's tag action can let Tails instantly go into boost mode.
Knuckles is best with Amy because she allows him to spindash up walls.
Amy is best with Knuckles because of the peel out
Cream is best with Sonic for the same reason as Tails

When it was knuckles turn and the voice said "sonic and knuckles" i would immediately think about the sonic and knuckles game
Never really understood why Knuckles and Tails don't have a team name, Knuckles and Cream don't have a team name, Knuckles and Amy don't have a team name, Sonic and Cream don't have a team name, Tails and Amy don't have a team name and finally Cream and Tails don't have a team name. I think all of that is just weird!

@Abador not really, if so, then why didn't they make sonic a fixed main character? They just didn't think about it's importance
Especially Tails and Cream like they have names for Amy and Cream and Knuckles and Sonic Sonic and Tails Amy and Sonic like Tails and Cream should have one as well I’ve always have found that so weird.
Maybe they only focused on the 5 canonical characters pair instead of mixed Paris ups

@@davibarrosdub3645 because they are smart kids still learning from their role model (Sonic in both cases).Also for raising INTO the stars with double flight skills, which is not how it works in game but still.

The one problem this game had as the team combos.
Lack of bond for the majority of them to have unique skills.
Sonic is compatible with 3 characters while everyone else atleast 1 unique compatibility. Except Amy.
Don't think more characters would of helped it even if they did say add shadow, and Rouge you have question who there compatibility lies otherwise than there obvious compatible mate.
Sure cream knuckles could not have any compatibility but tails and cream could like tail being a big brother to her.
Amy and knuckles could as a power duo I guessing hamy being the dominant in the partnership like a naggy sister to knuckles.
Even with shadow and Rouge in the mix Amy and Rouge would pretty much be similar to knuckles and sonic in a way.
Shadow and cream would just be the obvious edge lord with person that shows they have a heart relationship. Very obvious.

To be honest that they should’ve give the other combined team some names and it kinda bothers me they didn’t give them a team name.
i got some ideas for these teams:
sonic, cream: Old'n new. Cream handing sonics chao to him.
tails, knuckles: brain with a brawn. Both fist bump while tails has a wrench and knuckles punches the air both with there free hand
tails, cream: fly to victory. Both are shown flying in there normal ways
tails, amy: (i had no idea)
knuckles, cream: sweet and sour. Knuckles shows off his spiked fist to cream
knuckles, amy: Geared up. Knuckles punching to one side while amy wings her hammer to the other
