    This is the best explained video on the compact mahindra tractors. Actually worth my time. Thank you

    Great video , but was questioning if a new tractor with 1.2 that say in my heated garrage for 2 1/2 yrs Would need seals Replm't at the box or house for the front bucket loader ? As finally started the tractor 24 max hydro 4 week drive after pushes ingredients it 2 1/2 yrs due to health issues, back then heart & last shoulder for surgery !
    Problem was as I got it all nice ly warmed up & got it out of garage to use the front bucket it would leak hydaulic fluid when got to Maxon the front loaders in any position while it was running only at idea or 1000 or 1200 rpms , why ???

    Don: Thanks for the great video. I subscribe to your channel and watch all your videos. I have a Max 26. I keep hearing people talk about a Suction Screen for the HST that needs to be cleaned during UTF & Filter changes because it collects all the metal fragments. Does the Max 26 have a Suction Screen, or is it combined with the Hydrostatic Filter ?

      Dave Carlson pretty sure all of the Mitsubishi made mahindras use a screen

    Are there any after market air filters that will fit the max 28? I work in a extremely dusty/sandy environment, and clean filter out after every use, but replace it quite often. Those Mahindra brand filters are not cheap. Just wondering if you guys know of another brand that would fit. Thanks for your videos, these are great!

      It is a Mitsubishi filter so you may be able to source them at a good auto parts store. Napa or CARQUEST

    And another question... You said to use 80 to 90 weight gear oil in the front differential. Book says to use hydraulic transmission fluid??? I'm confused.

      Check with your dealer for your exact model. Shuttle and HST can have differences as well. I've found some differences in manuals over the years too. Smell the fluid to see if it's gear oil or hydraulic oil if you want to be sure.

    Hi Don, It's time for my 50+ hour Trans/Hydraulic oil change in my Mahindra XL26. I have the front loader and a backhoe. Is there an advantage to pulling in all the hydraulic pistons to get most of the old hydraulic oil into the transmission before I drain it? Along the same line of thinking, will oil in the hydraulic cylinders affect the proper transmission oil level when checking it? Thanks.

    Don my 28XL brakes grab as i come to a stop and they squeal. Only 48 hrs since new but 2014 tractor. Tried just driving a draging the brakes. Helped a little but not fixed. What do I do?

      Try taking apart and cleaning with a wire wheel. Sitting up so much can let humidity cause rust

    Hi just doing the trasmission oil change manual says 3 bolts i can only find 2. For a max 25 just wondering if it is another manual error?

    • @c6salesman
      @c6salesman  5 років тому

      Bolts? Drain plugs? Should only be 2. One on each side of the front differential driveshaft.

      Clyde Hill pretty sure you just hold the button down until it resets. Next time I’m near one I’ll look.

    I noticed that you are running non dyed diesel. I've been running the dyed off road diesel in mine. Should I not???

    • @c6salesman
      @c6salesman  8 років тому +1

      No that's fine. Sometimes we use whatever is more readily available. The dye is just dye, no other difference in the fuel.

    • @rufusjett2022
      @rufusjett2022 7 років тому

      the red dye is used for farm diesel only, the government doesn't want you to use the red diesel in your diesel truck that is used on the Highways, or you will be fined

    What's the best way to pop the oil pan off on these? My 28 has started a pretty nasty pan seal leak.

    • @c6salesman
      @c6salesman  6 років тому

      nrm3247 you might need to remove the differential shaft to get a good cleaning on it. I am a slacker so I would try without doing that. Have you tried loosening all pan bolts then tightening to specific torque with a torque wrench and of course follow a cross cross pattern. Sometimes that cures leaking pans

    • @nrm3247
      @nrm3247 6 років тому

      Don Clements yeah. I got it down to a trickle now but it is what it is. A leaking pan seal. The diff looks fairly simple enough to drop but it's still gonna be a pain in the ass hassle. Its about to go cold here so i may try the loosen and cross tighten trick one more time after running on a cold day. If I make it worse. I'll have to drop the pan cuz i like to garage it.
