Final tone was outstanding! Selling my car now.
I love that you talk about playing position for riffs and how that affects tone, how you finger things, etc. That's something I emphasize to my students, and also something I try to figure out when transcribing parts that could potentially be played in different areas.
Haven't watched this yet but I saw Nick Bowcott so it gets an immidiate thumbs up.
Always love your input and knowledge on any aspects of guitar and guitar playing. As a 55-year-old young guitarist, i always appreciate learning from other guitarists. No ego.
Thank you SW/NB! Excellent tips and always love your enthusiasm Mr. Bowcott - cheers!
Brilliant Idea for a Video!!! I want to add on your advise! Now that we have amazing Technology now, a great tool to have is a Stem separator which will take a complete song and separate the vocal, guitar, drums, piano, instruments, etc. so you just have the pure guitar parts and tone!!! It makes it easier to separate out just the the guitar from the entire mix!!! P.S. Love the Mini Guitar and Amp display in the background!!! Great show Nick!!!
Had to grab my flannel first. Great video as always you can count on Nick to both teach you something and make the learning process more accessible.
Great information, thanks Nick!
I value your insight, I know you’ve done the research.
Hello Nick, You are one of the coolest guys in Rock. Love to jam with you someday. Bass Player from Munster Indiana. Since 1967.
Why does the thumbnail look like Christmas? 😂 The sg is the tree and the pedals are the gifts
Great advices as usual
Grim Reaper, had one of your albums, awesome.
Nice jamming sounds good man 👍☕️
Amazing video like always!!! May I ask, how can one get a hold of Mr. Bowcott to inquire about a guest guitar solo perhaps? Thanks in advance!
Awsome!
I’m probably gonna buy one of those. They sound fantastic and 50 watches plenty and then if you features it’s a fantastic deal on the price.
I was thinking about the boss katana MK two but I think I’m gonna go with the black star debut or 50 .
Evh 5150 stealth and 212,ksr,Cho and dv77,speakers. She fx fm3 turbo.

A pet peave of mine is when guitarists insist on heavy bass tone. They don't realize how much that can muck-up a mix, live on stage and in a recording.
When it comes to paddles, there is an abundance of them to choose from. That’s for sure.
Billy Corgan *Likes* this.
Don't you have to be a little bit careful when using something recorded for UA-cam, or something in MP3 format? Those formats are heavily compressed and missing a lot of high end resonance and harmonics. I mean when I listen to Steely Dan's Aja there's a huge difference between the CD and an MP3 version, (and my hearing isn't even that good.) How can you be sure you're getting a good representation of the tonal quality?
Fyi,people also,once,red books go figur.
Yeah, but Glen Fricker says its all a waste of time and money. Any guitar, with "good" speakers will sound basically the same. Who believes this, we're not sure yet?
I thoroughly enjoy all my guitars and gear, and can't magine a world without Sweetwater in it? Thanx again Nick. Peace!
There's lots of "expert" information on the internet. There's a lot less actual useful information.
True, this video is part of this so called "expert" information.
