yes yes yes....I keep saying stop building garbage to go in the land fill....make something intended to used and to last...or at the worst can be "fixed" and used some more....versus sending it to the landfill.
Bought one of these and not as 'rad' as claimed. 1) the cord is too short unless you're using a usb extension cord because let's say you use this with a battery pack. You have to figure out where to mount the pack first. Pretty hard to avoid pulling on the cord which is just glued to the balloon. 2) they mounted the cord on the wrong end so when you're blowing this up, the cord gets in the way which means probably crimping the cord, pulling on the cord. How long do you think you can do that before it fails. 3) careful with the so-called carabiner loop because you can easily puncture the balloon. you're better off using rubber bands. really impractical too that they only included one loop in the middle. 4) wrapped up, yes, small and lightweight but won't fit in your pocket unless you're wearing overalls or from the land of giants and remember you need a battery pack, and it's practically useless without an extension cord. 5) difficult to use with a portable inflator. Basically this is a vinyl banger stick (like you get at games) with a light strip glued to the back with some magnets. ok, light strips are easy to find and you can find one under $10 that's dimmable and maybe multi colors. small mags you can find anywhere. So, should be easy to make if you can find an inflatable and reusable thunderstick.
I think it would be the strongest if you teamed up with a tent maker to create a light that shines from the ceiling of the tent... However, in the current situation, the cylum light looks reasonabl
This is an amazing product! I'm so getting some!
