I think you have missed the whole point of the film. This is about the younger generation being so involved in there own pursuits that they don't even observe basic courtesy towards their elders. Dogs are better than humans. They don't ignore or neglect others.
What if you are old and sick, disabeld in a wheelchair all day long? All by yourself and no family around? Your advice is pretty useless - you know.
Coming days in future will be worst..a man who work for whole life and still need to work..shame on new generation.
The young generation is selfish and self centered ! They have no emotions for old people ! Don't they know that 1 day they will face the same situation ?Now the old person should give his wealth to the person who is looking and taking care of him and bring those shameless couple on the road ! The great puzzle of life after a certain age.....
There are thousand of short movies but this is one of the best movie.. family and home can be strange place if they act with you as you are burden to them regardless any age.. you are always alone and you prefer to be quite... about dog or pet they are fill with emotions and energy and they are passionate companion for life.. this type of dedication you can't expect from humans.. After watching Bruno I miss my Dog/my fur baby Sandy and he is definitely somewhere in the Heaven.. And I pray that he never born as human being...

Bruno❤❤❤❤❤I had been fortunate enough to receive the unadulterated, pure love of a dog. They are just exceptional beings. So many underlying messages in this beautiful movie.
Just a thought - loneliness is extremely scary however we need to address it not only by compassion but also understanding the purpose of life. The uncle was physically ok and was able to try and make something out of his life... Morning walk friends, member of laughter club, being part of some social work.. These add a lot of value to one s life. It's best not to expect anything from anyone nowadays.

Though for medical reasons we had to keep our first golden alone for some days...but i am always with them...and watching this movie i cried ...that Gods grace showered my life.
And for human loneliness,the concept of vanaprashtha were popular practice in ancient India...so instead of waiting n expectation ....build a community and live a meaningful life leaving the house n part of property to next generation.... willfully..preseving dignity n self respect .

It was crazy to see how the guy who owned Bruno never even had basic manners like saying hello or namaste to the uncle. I do not think everyone in the new generation is like this. This is just common courtesy and manners. And loneliness is horrible in old age, it is the same across all races but I do believe that this loneliness effects Indian people the most, because if you look at the white or black race they are mostly equipped for it as their children do usually leave after they get a job etc. Infact in their culture if a child is earning his own money then he should not live with parents and move out, people in Europe etc feel ashamed if they have a 30 yr old son living at home with parents, the old ones also enjoy their lives as they think they have done their duty, put their kid through college/uni etc and so now its their turn to enjoy, many will visit a warm country for a few months and then go back to US/Canada when its warmer there. In many Indian people I have seen that they just end up taking care of the grandkids and not even enjoy their post retirement. We have to change the mindset of people.

What a sweet film. Excellent direction, cast selection, realistic acting, and beautiful Bruno!! A very sweet & heart warming script. Sad that some people are forced to live with & depend on insensitive people!! I pray that I am able to take care of & support myself and don't have to be at the mercy of anyone in my old age. Children today, are raised in another world - NOT like the world we grew up in, where good & bad, right & wrong were so clearly defined. Life is so much more complicated now, and thank Goodness animals don't rely on technology to communicate or be happy. Animals are faar better than people. Dogs are a best friend, no doubt about that!! They love unconditionally. Having had a dog in my home all of my life, I could not imagine my life without my favorite companion. Good to see a production out of India, that is honoring and appreciating these wonderful beings. "The greatness of a nation & it's moral progress, can be judged by the way it's animals are treated" - Gandhiji!! Yet another well deserved👍from the USA - Namaste🙏!!
