Had no idea who was gonna win this one. Both teams been wishy washy lately.
True. Jets are a better team than the recent 0-5-1 skid would have us believe, they just haven't had as much puck luck and couldn't seem to buy a goal when they needed it most during this stretch. If they can stay on their structure and find their offensive touch again, they'll be unstoppable heading into the playoffs!

For the Jets to beat the elite road team Kings is huge! Impressive win.
So often a great chance at one end, then a goal at the other. Great game
Jets first goal, Thomas, Spence and Kaliyev on the ice at the same time.
3:30 Watch Moore's getures towards PLD, and then notice where PLD is the whole time leading up to the goal (see replay). Finally, look at Moore's face when PLD comes to celebrate the goal.
Also, 3rd Jets' goal never happens if PLD actually skates back with any sort of determination.

@@4uh8rz2nv We sure did, but it's still a much better feeling than having missed the playoffs altogether. The current Jets aren't a playoff built team, but hopefully that changes in the next year or two, highly unlikely, but I'll be happy if I'm surprised.
@@4uh8rz2nv What the Jets need to do is add more speed, size, skill and playoff experience to their roster. They've already got the defensive structure down, but they need bigger players that won't get bumped off the puck so easily, faster players that won't be as penalty prone because they'll be able to keep up with the play, and guys who're proven playoff performers and can come up clutch. I believe that these improvements can make the Jets a more playoff ready squad even if they take a step back during the regular season.

Kings arent good enough for the playoffs. They will get smoked if they even make the playoffs. Not one elite player and the 8 million dollar man is already planning his vacation in April. Pathetic performance yet again.
Sad to say, but it's true. The Kings would be outclassed by any playoff team this year. That said, look what happened the last time we fired a coach mid-way through the season and went into the playoffs ... 2012.
