Your my favorite dungeon synth artist hands down. My wife loves the audio book story in the second half. Keep up the great work! 🐸
Never thought I’d be keeping up with a toad trilogy, but here we are.
I know, right? I clicked on this as soon as I saw it. This is amazing!
So there are other albums?
This is actually the 4th album of the toad kingdoms by tales from under the oak.
Toad king, swamp kingdom, toad folk, and now toad alchemy.
Oh heck I missed told folk, gonna have to go check that out
The algorithms led me to this secret path tonight.
Now it is your duty to guide others to the hidden grove.
Choose your students well.

@@DisgruntledPeasant I will not betray the sacred trust to which I am bound.
I will listen to this until the day I croak.
This punny comment fits your name and picture perfectly.
LOL Nice.
Toadally!
I can't like this comment, you have the perfect amount of up votes

Babe wake up, new frog-themed dungeon synth album just dropped
Makes me happy to see there is this many people excited by getting a new album from Tales Under The Oak. Great taste you've got!
It’s head and shoulders above other projects in the genre. I’m excited for the soundtrack to the table top game they are working on too.
All hail, the amphibious lord! Long may his croaks ring through the mist!
Not going to lie, I was almost in a meditative state when I heard the 1st score. I actually started seeing the beginning of one of those late 70's early 80's animated fantasy movies in my head. Sort of Rakin Bass 'esque. It had of course a toad mage doing alchemy. That would really be a cool movie. I love music that can do that to me.
Have you seen the Life snd Adventures of Santa Clause from Rankin Bass? If you tried to picture a stereotypical fairy fantasy movie in your head, add claymation, that’s exactly what it looks like.
I haven't. I was thinking of things like the old Hobbit movie or Flight of Dragons. I'll have to keep an eye out for the Santa movie.@@brittybee6615
I must say I enjoyed the music, but the audiobook section is what truly captured me. It’s few and far between that I get caught off guard and something overwhelms my heart with such whimsy. To the creators : Thank you for that.
I haven't listen to this new one but i remember specifically that one architect toad story actually got me...idk why that one in particular... something about earning your position and feeling nostalgic about your earlier days
What an amazing Journey !!!
Yess, the finest amphibious elixirs were distilled to these delightful melodies. Many thanks!
Это лучшая музыка, которую мне доводилось слышать! Она меня исцеляет и создаёт в моём внутреннем мире сказку. Спасибо за ваше творчество и привет из России.
Just opened my YT and this was randomly suggested. Definitely got a new fan, this is amazing!
Finally!!! The Toad trilogy continues!!! It's been my favorite dangeon synth video. I cant count how many times I've heard it! ❤
Don't even know how I got here, but I'm glad I did. This feels like an 80's dark fantasy movie score. Lovely!
Love this album, takes you to a different time and place. So enchanting
pure magic... absolutely relaxing, but epic, oscure, deep as the dungeons hidden under our foots in a dark jurney
Kudos to you. This is really enjoyable music, AND as a first time listener just vibing with this on in the background I was completely taken by surprise with the sudden audio book 45 minutes in. I was hooked right away. Really enjoyed the little tale and the atmosphere this whole video created. You have talent. Keep it up. Looking forward to the next chapter.
you make my heart ache
but i am glad you are on the path, good fortunes to you
I’m completely blown away by every facet of this.
I had no idea what I was clicking on, but the art is 🔥
Instantly I’m transported somewhere mystical and new, yet strangely familiar to me.
Truly amazing how well the art matches the sound.
@mattgee1118 You like Huey Lewis and the News? Their early work was a little too new wave for my taste. But when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor. In '87, Huey released this; Fore!, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Hip To Be Square". A song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity and the importance of trends. It's also a personal statement about the band itself.
omggg never though there would be one more but here we go. Theses have been keeping me relaxed and sane at work for more than a year now
yes its very calming
The album was incredible BUT I did not expect the audiobook and it was an amazing surprise!
New Tales under the Oak album LET'S GO!!
YEEEEAH
Charming, delightful and atmospheric. Thank you for existing, Tales under the Oak!
now whenever you see toads under the oaks, you will know what plans they make 😁
I'm writing to your music, and it's just the vibe I was needing for inspiration. Thank you!
I thank the artists and their respective inspirations.
🧙♂️🔮
You produce the very best Dungeon Synth. It's so evocative and ethereal.
Haha it's going to be a great day my dudes 🐸
This has got to be the best fantasie music I have heard in ages. The samples used totally capture the title of this wonderful world, and with the added ambient sounds it's just perfect!
Thanks!!
The story segments are super fun and well written. Can't wait for more!
My first musical discovery of 2024. This will take some beating.
That first song hit my brain like a truck because it had that same pattern that some of the songs from Oblivion have
So happy to discover this new album! Already giving it a listen and enjoying it]]
I listen to this about once a week. This is amazing. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I lay here at midnight. The frigid storms have lifted and given way, to glinting black ice under a gibbous moon of long shadows.
But I have been graced with this captivating new discovery, the atmosphere of the music makes me feel at home.
(o°-°)b awesome work, only during writing my comment did I realize there’s a whole audiobook after the music. Thank you for your art, it’s incredible
,,, Schroeder,, Schultze, tangerine Dream n thereafter -> nice floating muz greatings from Berlin ...
Amidst even the thousands of years one does not think that the conscious energy of the body you call spirit has only been one race ,color, or creed. You have been many peoples and many things. Energy is everywhere and everything. To think one has only lived one life time or only one thing would not be grown. You must live many life ti,especially and learn many lessons in many different forms before one can grow and have understanding. Even the pain and suffering teaches us that we are not alone in our suffering then can we see those who suffer. Then when joy comes we understand bliss. Live in today for it is the gift of life and understanding it is the present.
C'est idéal pour ma méditation. Merci beaucoup.
Just found out about these a couple weeks ago, and was listening to The Swamp Kingdom right now on the ride back home only to find this less than an hour after publishing. Nice.
Watching the stars and listening to this is the most satisfying feeling ever
New Tales Under the Oak! SO STOKED. The audiobook at the end is just *chefs kiss*. Can't wait to hear the rest of it.
Thank you so much !
I see. I click. I like.
Hauntingly beautiful
😮 a new frog for my collection! 👏👏👏
Enchanting
This music makes me think the: Hobbit,Last Unicorn, Labyrinth. Fantasy focus music ✴️🎶❤
YUUUSSSS 🎉🎉🎉🎉 I listen to the other albums on REPEAT. They are SOO GOOD! I love Tales Under The Oak, I always listen to them when I'm drawing or painting early in the morning, I've created some of my favorite pieces while listening. Thank you creators for making this, I know you put so much work into it, it sounds fantastic. Lifelong fan🫡🤘🤘
The music is nostalgia for my childhood fear, oddly enough as an adult it no longer scares me but is more like an invitation into the remembrance of the unknown like I felt as a child.
The real reason I clicked on this video is because it reminded me of a quote I wrote during this past summer of 2023.
"Do I dare tell the chickens the whisperings of toads under the back porch stairway?"
If you have chickens well than you do not want to tell them about the toads underneath the back porch steps unless you no longer want them thier. In which case the quote just made me feel like I was holding a secret for the toads.
Finding this content resonates so much with this magical world I felt when I spoke that quote last summer. I'm so glad to have stumbled upon The Toad Alchemy it is quite an immersive experience especially finding a mini novel upon my second listening. Nice body of work.
That's a beautiful quote you created
"Are you hiding toads under ze porch stairway?" -Chicken 2023
just me i'm sure, but The Border Pond made me think of the montage music at the end of Bloodsport where Frank is remembering how to fight blind. after Chong Li cheated by throwing blinding powder into his face... I'm just finding this music and it's awesome! Love from Maryland!
Прекрасно, как и всегда. Спасибо вам большое за уникальное звучание, такое, от которого все в мурашках! Ваша музыка помогает рождаться и собственному творчеству!
Damn, this is still the coolest album I have listened to. It's magic💥💥
A wonderful work of art.
Didn't expect this but here we are. Another Toady masterpiece 🐸. Thank you so much!

this recently came across my UA-cam, and I instantly fell in love with it! The music is exceptional and reminds me of old school 80s magical, fantasy lands (think Labyrinth) but even better. Just getting started with the story today. Super excited. Thanks for creating this gem!!

I also love the audiobook part. Well done !
'80s Dark Fantasy. This playlist reminds me The Infinite Story...
How magical, thank you 😍
That was awesome!!! I was so disappointed when the audiobook section finished. I wanted to hear the rest of the story.
Best Dungeon Synth ! I totally loved every single minute of this masterpiece. And i realy realy like how you have woven a new lore around fantasy creatures like the toads. Thanks for the huge work you put into this project ⚡️ Cheers from your neighbours Switzerland !
Actually not new lore.
Japanese folklore is very rich with toad and frog bestiary symbolism.
In Western civilisation also, witch lore and secret alchemical processes are hidden (occulted) in the symbol of the toad (such as in the book of the Chaldean St Cyprian).
More recently, mid-late XXth C. , esoterisist Andrew Chumbley recovered from a lost wise women tradition, the ritual operations that brought us the Grimoire of the Golden Toad, and how to conceive the most powerful talisman of the toad red bone.
Love toads and darksynth! This is good stuff here, makes the imagination pump.
@@CarlosSilva-rt7we I just wanna say, I love both your comments. Toads are real! The creatures of the Earth are Living Magic!
