Thank you for sharing and you’re a natural at explaining things - great for your first video!! I love the simplicity you demonstrated with “set up as you go” and all the fun colors and stickers…then some note pages, all mixed in. Fabulous.
I love your planner so much…The layouts, notes, the lived -in feel of it. I love it! Thanks for sharing. It would be great to see some plan with me videos as well!😉
I'm so happy it helped! I like to see what other people do, especially for new ideas. This has worked the best for me, though, after 10 years of bullet journalling.
I love the paper of these particular books. The Unison brand has light enough ink that the lines aren't too dark, the paper is pretty smooth, and there is very little bleedthrough or ghosting.
Thank you so much for sharing!! Planners make me nervous and they're pretty expensive. I love that you shared how you break everything down I'm so glad I found you!!
@@emelhineromero3036 Planners are sooo expensive, or they can be. But when you use something multiple times a day every day for a year, you want one that works for you. Sometimes that can be worth the money! In my case, I just prefer the notebook, so I lucked out!
Same here. I can do so much with a composition book, and if I mess up a page, it only costs me a fraction of a penny! They are so cheap, and I can do whatever I want with it, without stressing over the cost.

@@AgapeRN yes. I loved that it was cute without being fussy. It was mainly functional. That's how I plan too. I don't even use quite as many stickers as she does.
I love what you’ve done with this notebook! I’ve been using a composition book for everything after years of using multiple happy planners at once. It was out of control I mean at one point I had to have two separate hourly planners because one would only go from like 7-7 and I needed something for the other 12 hours!!! I love working in a composition book now and doing whatever I want! I literally can and do use it for everything and I use any of my stickers that I want to! I do love what you’ve done here. You’ve given me some great ideas!
I love your planner. It's simple, pretty and functional. I also like how you have one planner for work and everything. I might try they in the up coming weeks. Right now I have two one for work and school related notes from meetings and one for home. Thanks for the amazing idea
I tried to have more than one planner, but I found myself just copying everything into both, so I decided one planner is the way to go for me, at least!
I love how you do your monthly calendar and your weekly calendar. Looks better then mine. I think I am going to purchase a composition book with graph paper for my 2025 planner.
Gotta love grid composition books! I have wasted so much money on fancy planners and such, I am trying composition notebook planners. I have lined ones, so using them up before I buy grid. They just feelso much more practical and usable compared to leather binders with costly inserts or "fashion planners" which are now so expensive I just laugh. Thank you for showing us a REAL planner!!!
I struggled hard with wanting to have the pretty happy planner type of planner, but I'm also a bit of a perfectionist. If the planner is too pretty, I am afraid to use it! This way if I "mess up" I don't feel so stressed about it.
@@Gillyweedsfun I hear you about perfectionism. I wish I wrote smaller so I could use a pocket planner. However, it isn't going to happen. I've accepted it. Trying to use what I have while having a bit of fun😊
I use a composition book almost exactly like you do!!! This is so exciting! I love the price and the versatility. I found one with a beautiful cover so mine is college ruled right now. Will go back to grid in my next one though.
@@pattydunbar490 I had switched to a smaller notebook about two months ago, but I'm going back to a comp book soon. I miss it! Stay tuned for a new video where I set up the new one!
Wow, I have never subbed so fast! 😄Absolutely wonderful planner. I go in and out of using comp books as planners/journals. I have a large collection of them in both lined and graph versions. I'm currently in a Day Designer spiral planner, but this really gave me some great ideas if I choose to return to a comp book for 2024. I love them for all the same reasons you do - ultimate freedom for planning, journaling, notes - you can make it whatever you need without being locked into a specific format for an entire year. I really like how you set up your weeklies. We have so much in common. I also use those clear/colored post-it tabs on the side of my planners, they're so durable. And I am also back in school and not working - I arranged my life to do so, as you did. Great video!! Keep 'em coming! PS I also love the name Roman. Happy 18th to your kiddo!
Thank you! I love the idea of a preprinted planner, but then I miss the creativity and flexibility of a good old comp book. I need the pages for notes and lists that I just can't get in a spiral printed planner. Plus, this one fits in my bag perfectly in the padded ipad sleeve! It's the same size as my ipad, so it's perfect!
Great video! Love the way you talked about what happened on your days. The sound of those pages turning was very satisfying! I still love pen and paper over digital. I already have my planner for 2024, but I may try a composition notebook next year. Have a great day!
Hi welcome to you tube! Glad you’re here.
