Just read it and all I gotta say is "WOW!" The amount of details you put in the script and the amount of change you put in the characters' personality! Bringing the overlord back was such a good idea, bringing back a fan favorite villian. I'm proud to say that this movie has inspired me to create my own original Ninjago story! Great work Tanner!

I’m working on a fanmade seasons 16-21 (21 is the end) and I also created ninjago: rewritten which basically rewrites the whole series up until the end of season 10
@@griffix2841 if I had to write a script for next season first I will bring pythor back and he resurrects his tribe then he would redeem himself and his tribe lives with skales then I would bring back the time twins and other villains that deserve to comeback
I really hope we get another movie that's good and ties in with the tv show

Well, if there would be another ninjago movie, maybe Lego would take notes and make that movie canon, not some random story, just like a season, but full movie.

Tanner I have an idea! What if you divide the pdf in small sections and we (your subscribers) animate the script with stop motion animation, each person can animate like 30 seconds or 1 minute of the script :)

After reading your notes the only nit-pick I have is that I feel it would make more sense that P.I.X.A.L inherited Borg Industries seeing as Cyrus Borg was essentially her father.

Read through the characters, its pretty good, the ninja designs ( Not the quality of the art ) are a little bit eh I could have seen more variation but otherwise its decent, also Skylor and Misako are designed really well

Dude this was AMAZING! I could absolutely hear the cast doing this movie. I honestly wouldn’t mind this ending. Only thing I might have done was killed off the ninja one by one, so it’s just Lloyd vs the overlord. Other than that it was perfect! Amazing job! Congratulations again on 100k!

Ya know, I'm doing something quite similar, it takes place between The Island and Seabound. Although, I haven't mentioned the events of The Island yet. And my original character for my story, Lady Midnight is quite similar to Alces with some differences, I did create the idea of her in 2019. Looking forward to the reading through!

Yo the way each characters ended up is unique and also not too far off from the original storyline, sounds nice I like all their back story. Sounds very interesting to read how the ninjas have matured

OMG, I've been reading the comments, and hearing people talk about actually animating and voicing this to turn into a fully fledged movie, and I think that's an amazing idea! It would be work but you could hold auditions for voice actors then do the animation like those reanimated collab videos!

I’ve always been interested in a next generation Ninjago. I’ve made drafts for fan fictions in the past that probably need updating due to the new seasons but can’t wait to see your take on it.
Not bad, I like how you split the ninja team, made a return of the Overlord, new character, Skyler being in it, and these collectibles they have to search for. It's really interesting and might even be an awesome movie!

I have an idea on how the stakes can be high for Ninjago in this movie: instead of the Overlord causing havoc by himself, he takes control of Lloyd (a little nod to him being possessed by Moro in Season 5), takes away his power so that he can use for himself (a little nod for how he had the Golden power in Season 3) and permanently changed Lloyd into an Oni, with a similar appearence to that of Lord Garmadon, Lloyd's father. As for how the rest of the story will go with this, it's simple: When Master Wu gets a vision of this through the smoke (little nod to how he saw the return of the Serpentine in Season 1 and him being consumed by the Great Devourer in the end of that season), he immedeatly calls for the Ninja to save Ninjago from the Overlord and save Lloyd in his Oni form with the Loggings of Collision. The first 2 cubes are able to save Lloyd and get back his Green Ninja powers, weakening the Overlord, yet they don't change his appearence back to human and his powers have become weak. Lord Garmadon appears, now with most of his humanity restored, yet not completley because of the Oni blood, and says he can teach his son to regain his green powers while also taking control of the Oni power he recieved, while admitting his concerns about not having enough humanity to train Lloyd, but will try anyway.
That's all I got in terms of ideas. But this is just a suggestion. If you don't like it, that's ok.

Well since this happens 15 years later then The Island and Seabound can be seen as adventures that happened before the team split. Like maybe Jay invented a sub, went with Benthomaar and followed after Nya and found a way to turn her back. In a way this could be a turning point for the team to "break up" again. But hey that's just me. Still this sounds amazing and I cannot wait to hear you read and maybe then read it myself ^^
I definitely see a resemblance between the Mother Boxes from Justice League and the Longings of Collision. I wonder if that was just coincidence or if you did that as a reference or took inspiration from the Mother Boxes, but either way, I just thought that was a nice detail

I just read this, and oh my goodness. this is 100000 times better than the real ninjago movie and a MILLION times better as Crystalized! I don’t usually tear up over movies, let alone written stories or books, but some parts of this had me SOBBING. You PERFECTLY captured each ninja’s personalities and you have NO IDEA what I’d give for this to replace Crystallized. I was so emotionally invested in this story the entire time, and as i said before cried many times (which is something the actual Ninjago series can EVER make me do). at the end of the script when I saw you had named cole and vania’s son Kirby got me really sobbing as well.

Great concept, however I do think it would have been interesting and a bit more realistic if master WU died, that could have been more of a realistic reason in my opinion for the ninja splitting up. If you had used this concept you could had made it tie back to when it seems like the ninja are losing but then like a “force-ghost-esc” appearance from master WU inspiring lloyd to get up and to keep on fighting.

Just finished reading it, prolly some of the most cheesiest script work I’ve ever seen but it is certainly filled with a lot of love. I understand it but I’m not that onboard fully. But I do pleasantly enjoyed reading it throughout. The plot is handled with interesting approaches, the ones that made me went “huh, neat” although some parts of the script are questionable and quite tedious and some dialogues are kinda corny. Overall, I smile a lot while reading this. It might not be the best script I’ve ever read but it was certainly filled with a warm hug of care and a passionate mind, and for me that is the best thing about this, you really feel the soul put in to this. Recommend and Thank you for this amazing work Tanner! now if you excuse me, OVERHEAD SHOT, faded to black.
