Green Day - 2000 Light Years Away (Dookie Version)

- Ah, yes. The big question: What if 2000 Light Years Away was recorded for Dookie? A concept that has been around for a very long time. I've seen many people online try to make this a reality. I decided to do my take on it.
I see this one requested a lot and I was gonna save this one for last. I've been working on this one since last month and originally wanted this for the finale. @st.jimmysstuff4165 made many different mixes for this one cause we wanted this one to sound right. I know this one's a HIGHLY anticipated one so I tried my best with the tone on it.
For drums, I mostly used Basket Case and Welcome to Paradise, with some other drum tracks in there. I played guitar and bass. Bass was very fun to play for this! For the solo, I decided to do the BBC version of it. I based this on the Jaded in Chicago and Live at BBC versions. @mushycelium coming back again with the BADASS cover art. I love it so much.

I instantly recognised that single drum hit at the beginning came from Chump as it's iconic.
That song is very similar to 2000 Light Years Away with its chord progression, which's a perfect choice as an inspiration to base this mix on. The AI vocals sound exactly like how Billie's voice sounds on Chump (along with the rest of Dookie).
Although I feel for the guitar solo and bass section you could have use the drums from She for better isolated drum quality, I still think this sounds really good and authentically Dookie!

It pains me that you didn't use the rock band stems for the drums
Unfortunately, those drums are very badly compressed. I never liked the sound of Dookie drum tracks from RockBand. I might do a version with those drums for anyone who wants that version though.
