- Hey! I wanted to make this video to share more info about the application process. Obviously this is just my personal experience and everyone has their own strengths that they bring to the application. I hope this was helpful! This is especially for anyone wanting to submit an arts supplement!

In a crowded Seattle Starbucks, I was hunting for a table. A woman noticed. She smiled and her eyes went friendly. She motioned me to an empty chair. She was young, about your age. Her accent foreign, clothing strange, compellingly colored - shades of sunlit sand. Her perfume whispered sandalwood and shouted wealth. I was initially fascinated but soon riveted. We began to chat. The conversation smoothly turned substantive.
After an hour I glanced around and noticed that four, not-immediately, nearby tables had a single seriously handsome, broad shouldered Arab sipping coffee. Each dressed in tidy American casual.
She was a Kuwaiti princess, slumming in Seattle, from her studies at Oxford.
I came away from that Starbucks feeling like I had had a divine encounter.
This video of you reminded me of that time quite powerfully.
I think Yale is searching for higher life-forms.
And occasionally - they find one.

i love watching these college application videos bc almost every person cringes at their past writing but honestly many people cringe at their old writing and at the end of the day you were also still just 17. like give yourself a break

the interesting thing about covid making these admissions file review meetings virtual, doesn't that mean you could still technically be screen recording even if they say you can't take pictures or video? like how would they kno. unethical but possible

yall gen z calling ap u.s. history apush is so cringy to me. like when did that become a universal thing? the first time i heard that was from my younger brother and im not that much older than him. like why not just call it history. calling it apush makes it sound like a brag like yall just have to emphasize the fact that you're in ap. i understand that there's a difference between regular u.s. history and ap but why yall gotta emphasize that so hard

it’s just a silly acronym, a lot of my friends took apush and it’s a lot easier than just saying us history!
