You misunderstood blackbeard's darkness fruit because of a mistranslation, his Df doesnt "absorb" the power for him to use per say, it nullifies DF powers when he uses "black vortex", rewatch Ace vs blackbeard to understand further. We still dont know how blackbeard steals devil fruit powers.
We do know he has to at least kill the user to get their devil fruit somehow
Yeah he says it "Draws in DF powers" whuch might have more to it but in practice it means he negates them, if he touches you its like being in Sea Prism Stone you cant use your DF power

I think Blackbeard is a charming character and really suits the role of a pirate. He is clever in planning things. Do whatever it takes to get what he wants. Know how to attack and retreat.

You can call the lunarian pacifista just "seraphim(s)"
The original pacifista was modeled after Kuma. We saw 2 seraphims now, one modeled after Boa hancock, and the other modeled after Mihawk (the one that fought BB)

As far as we know Blackbeard's Yami-Yami can't STEAL a devil fruit, but as long as he is in contact with you, you can't use your fruit power.
If you can remember back to the fight against Ace, he nullified Ace's power while holding him, but as soon as they weren't in contact. Ace could then again use his fruit power.
The same with Luffy in Impel Down. Or Whitebeard at Marineford
but it's to assume his darkness power also plays a big part in stealing devil fruit powers I'm sure it prevents the power from spawning in another fruit after the former user died

Yamato is no different than Vivi joining and deciding to stay in there countries, there not part of the crew but definitely nakama with the potential to join in the future
Vivi was a member of the crew and never left she’s on extended leave, Yamato hasn’t sailed with them yet
theyre kinda different. vivi actually sailed with them and is considered a former straw hat on her vivre card.
To me it's like the case of Jinbei who postponed his official entry into the crew until he completed his unfinished business.

Marco back in marineford said that blackbeard is able to weild more than 1 devil fruits because of his strange body constitution, and how is able to take more than one devil fruit has never been explained but it's probably due to the dark dark fruit that he has, that's why he killed his own crewmates to take this op devil fruit.
Also 22:09 there are a lot of people who loves blackbeard, he is such an amazing character, and too bad I'm one of those, he is a real pirate and he is iconic, you can't not root for him.
I remember seeing Blackbeard holding Handcock like that in the manga and the internet lit up. Blackbeard knows he can’t let go of her or he’d be turned to stone. Cool moment, and makes BB look like even though he seems like a beech, he does take educated risk for his own dream.
Hello, just to clarify, when you kill somebody with a devil fruit, the power of the devil fruit passes to the most nearly fruit around and that fruit becomes a devil fruit. Probably Blackbeard always have a normal fruit when he kills users. If my memory don't fail in dressrosa Burges was trying to kill Sabo and he was carrying a bag with fruits for that reason.
I think Blackbeard is hiding his strength. Because he was able to wound Shank's eye.
And that was even before time skip and before he had whitebeards fruit.

Writing wise it’s like he just took post it notes and went oh yeah that part gotta close that out and this. And then people scream it’s peak and call shows like jjk overrated or hxh bad like imo some of this is coasting on lore drops and hype. Y’all said arc before wano was bad but wano will be peak then y’all said wano bad but egghead will be peak etc.
With regards to Yamato(along with Momo and Kin), Luffy specifically calls them nakama, which he only uses for crew members, whereas everyone else is just a friend. So it's a similar situation to Vivi, who is officially considered a former Strawhat; the Wano three are just inactive members.
It is possible that his fruit is how he stole WB fruit, but that isn't what he means when he says absorbed he just mean he nullifies it... He said the same to Ace before the war when they fought and the same to WB when they fought during the end of the War.

I would say Yamato is like Vivi and Kinemon, honorary members. Though Vivi and Kin have more claim as they’ve traveled and spent a lot of time with the straw hats. Plus there’s some other characters I think could take the tenth official spot on the crew
I don’t agree because Yamato plans on joining the crew. She just wants to follow Oden’s steps (live in wano first, then go in an adventure). She will officially join eventually.

I don’t even think nor want Vivi to join officially but she definitely has more claim to the title of straw hat.
There are alot of characters that have spent more time and have deeper connections to the straw hats. Yamato is just fan favourite atm. There’s another character in an upcoming arc that may join, personally I think it’s too late in the game for anyone to join. Unless their a character from the past that the crew has a connection with. But you’re entitled to your opinion :) lots of people agree with you

Black Beard took her down no diff if not for the seraphim and with the most basic strategy ever and zero prep. Law, Kaido, BM and Shanks have all shown us you can negate DF powers with strong enough Conquerors Haki. So clearly Teach isn't a top tier haki user and mostly DF reliant. But if that logic applies then characters like Luffy, Zoro, Kid, Law, Shanks, Mihawk, Garp, the OG 3 admirals, the goresei, Kadio, BM, Roger, WB, Oden and so on would be able to negate her power through sheer will power alone. Hardly top tier if you ask me... If she were a real threat the navy would have sent an admiral, not Koby.

And that's just off the top of my head... She doesn't even make top 25 in the verse. You can't just assume she has all 3 advanced forms of Haki... If she did Rayleigh wouldn't have needed to pull up and save her sorry ah..
Essentialy when BB touches a DF user it has the same effect as Sea Stone.(Essentialy the user becomes a normal human while they are in contact).
blackbeards fruit only nagates powers when he touches you, if you remember in dressrosa burgess also tried stealing luffys fruit which means the stealing method is not exclusive to blackbeard and can be done by anyone who knows it which is why he put a cape over whitebeard when he stole the power so only his crew knows how.
When u die, the devil fruit respawns in the nearest normal fruit , thats how they stole them

I've been excited for you guys to see this episode for what feels like aaaages. The reveal of the Seraphim is so dope. Just remember the Government had King locked up in a lab before Kaido broke him out.
It's my theory that Blackbeard is always weakened because he's standing in light which counters his Darkness fruit, hence why his crew put a curtain over him when he took Whitebeard's Devil Fruit, so he can use his full power. This might also be why his Logia doesn't work like a typical Logia, since he takes a lot of hits

I just want to point out that the Marines had both Kaido AND King in their custody. So Vegapunk could experiment on them to try to replicate their powers. Thats how we ended up with Momo getting his fruit, and now it seems that Vegapunk combined pacifista technology with Lunarian DNA! Can’t wait to see Egghead get animated, especially as a manga reader!

Would you believe it, if I told you this was not even a full chapter's adaptation? lol. You can probably tell by that abrupt ending, but oda packs so much material in these chapters that fans would have not been able to absorb it all. From this point on, the story's pacing will improve significantly. Also i don't know if you guys forgot, but the Seraphims are the SSG (Special Science group) that the navi was taking about before.

I was surprised blackbeard came all the way to take hancock's power, which is what he mentioned he was after, as Hancock's fruit is very powerful. but I think hancock is right, her beauty is what really weaponizes it. And with hancock in the situation now, I think she'll reunite with luffy and join up with him, which may be the only way to protect her people at this point.
lets not forget that before king joined up with kaido he was getting experamented on at punk hazard. Also don't the seraphime look a little familiar

Correction, Blackbeards devil fruit (Yami Yami no Mi) doesn’t allow him to steal other devil fruits from users, it gives him the ability to nullify their DF powers once he touches them.
It’s still not explained how he’s able to possess more than one DF, or how he’s able to get a DF power from a previous user before it manifests elsewhere.
One possibility is that he gets the devil fruit power straight from the user similar to the way Big Mom attained hers by essentially cannibalizing Mother Carmel🙊. But we also know that Blackbeard didn’t do this as WB’s body was still there after he acquired the Gura Gura no Mi, so perhaps it’s a specific body part of the previous user that he needs…
Hopefully they get to reveal this at some point as it’s quite a big plot point.
I think it would be a safe to assume the world government made the seraphim to look like a bunch of familiar faces since there’s no need for the warlord system

The new Pacifistas, which are called Seraphims, are the new battle terminators bioengineered by Vegapunk as a replacement for the warlords. They are genetically modified living organisms using the lineage factor of Lunarians, hence the brown skin, black wings, albino hair, and fire. The fire mechanics might resemble King's with the boost of defense/speed with the fire switch. There might be more Seraphims since we have two that resemble 2 former warlords (Boa and Hawkeye).

the pacifistas that you saw are not lunarians strictly speaking when the navy had captured king vegapunk took the opportunity to copy his dna and it was from his dna that he was able to reproduce his pacifistas so they are not pacifistas child but it's downright cyborg built from a to z thanks to king's DNA and not just king's DNA the DNA of all corsairs if you look closely the two kids look like boa and mihawk he reproduced pacista like the corsair with their abilities plus the king's DNA which makes them extremely powerful weapons basically facing one of his pacifista would be equivalent to facing a mixture of king + a mihawk or boa or another powerful corsair

Similar to jinbei, luffy asked him to join his crew since the fishermen arc and not until the beginning of wano did he join. Same thing with yamato when luffy comes back to wano to take the historic weapon. Then yamato will join

Just Some clarifiations and responses to the things said and speculated in the video (No spoilers):
- Blackbeard's metode to have two or possibibly even more devil fruits is still unknown and when he said, during the episode, "my darkness can absorb devil fruit powers" was not letarally, simply by touching devil fruit users he can nullify their power (at least this is what we know for now).
I also think that the Lunarian DNA for creating the seraphims could have been taken, certainly from King, when he was iprisoned as a teen prior from being liberated from Kaido during the flashback.
Also just to clarify BB's devil fruit doesn't allow him to absorb powers, he just nullifies all devil fruits. Marco said back at Marine Ford that Teach has an unusual body structure. Also the kid with the sword looks like someone you have seen multiple times as well. Take a wild guess

It’s so weird seeing the anime reach this point. Even though Egghead is almost done, the anime is in the same arc as the manga right now. Which is just crazy to me. We were introduced to the Seraphim not that long ago, and now we finally see them animated.
