I have the Weather Tech mat and it DEFINITELY slips also. I cut holes where the from and back tie downs are and do some similar to Bob here. But Bob’s Hobby Lobby hardware is GENIUS.
Love that hardware, but I would do a velcro tie strap instead of the zip tie, so it is removable and reintsallable without cutting and finding another zip tie
Neat idea , I have a rubber mat in my GX so no problem. But my wife had carpet cargo mat , in her RX I will have to check hers and see if that method is applicable

Don't steam clean or spray your engine. I did that on my Lexus SC400 and the car ran funny for a week. Unless you want to cover all your electrical components, don't bother. Just wipe it down with a wet nap and spray bottle doing one plastic at a time.
Uncle Bob, nice solution! Unrelated question: when you press the start button without having your foot on the gas pedal, it starts the "aux" mode I'll call it. I can charge my cell phone in this mode. Problem is it only lasts for 15 minutes then the car shuts down. Is there a way to get the "aux" mode to last longer. I've gone camping in my GX and I need to charge my cell phone at night, and it's annoying to have to hit the button every 15 mins, especially if I'm trying to sleep!
Simplest way is to get a small solar generator like a small 2-300 watt jackery. They are fairly cheap and can be use for fridge or other camping items.
Hey there Bob. Sorry to ask this on a completely non related video but did you have any videos or info on how to fix broken front bumper clips on the 460? I see its a common problem and mine is bugging the crap out of me! Any help appreciated!
The front bumper passenger side. Right where bumper seam meets the headlight. I've seen owners pictures and complaints of clips breaking. Wasn't sure if you've heard of easy fix.

Install a usb aux port and wire it to constant power. Check my video library where I show you how to install one in your middle row

My 2023 GX has a nylon strap on each side by the back door. 😂. Sadly, this is not a joke. Maybe newer ones come this way?
