@@TheOutdoorExperience yea, my gauge goes to 10k as well but it maxes out at 6k. I’m going to try to get a different cdi to try and get it to 8k
Could get a high flow intake and exhaust for more power.
My tank maxed out at 56mph, but I have a delivery box which isn't helping.😅
@@carltonpowers2342 I got 58 once but with a mean tailwind. I get 55 whenever I’m on a road where I can open it up but I’m mostly in town and don’t go over 45 much.
What type of engine oil are you using?
Probably hasn't changed the oil yet. First change is around 300mi-500mi
I missed this comment. I got Shell 15w40. I changed it at 300, then 500. I’m doing every 500 miles after that. I’m about to hit 1k miles so that’s the next one.
Good luck finding parts
I printed out a parts list on the Tank 200 and did some browsing and found a good number of them. I’ll probably order a bunch of the basic things just to have on standby. I haven’t had a Chinese scooter fail me yet. It’s my 4th one in 12 years. Sold all the others in running condition. Just gotta know a thing or two about working on them and stay positive. It’s easy to be negative about things right off the bat. Sorry you feel that way.
I feel you. If you like doing maintencence and don't mind doing it more frequenctly, then it's fine. I just know a lot of riders that complain about spending money on them bc they don't want to work on them a ton. I have a buy expensive cry once mindset. I personally prefer work horses. I do my own maintenance except if it's advanced @@TheOutdoorExperience
My mechanic told me not to crash cause there ain't no parts for the Yamaha Zuma! Lol
@@wilcer 😂 😂 😂
Parts are plentiful
Hey where did you get ur scooter
Arlington Powersports. I ordered online.
Ordered mine thru Amazon. They come with no instructions at àll, so you can pay extra for them to assemble it for you.
So , how many weeks did it finally take to get your scooter ?
I ordered on Feb 22nd and it arrived March 13th
@@TheOutdoorExperience Thank You for replying so fast. I ordered mine from the same place as you on July 22. When I call they say next week or something like that. I'm getting a little worried . I came across your channel while looking for reviews on this scooter and yours is the best, you go into a lot of detail. Just subscribed to your channel. A lot of interesting video's. I liked the scooter camping video. I did leave a couple of comments the other day, but they disappeared. Maybe the way I worded them or something. Keep up the good work and hope your subs grow !
Yea I kept calling them too and was getting the runaround. I think it’s the shipping company that’s delaying it. I saw a bunch of bad reviews on the shipping. But yea it took just about 3 weeks. As far as the comments, UA-cam seems to be getting worse at the whole comment thing. I think it’s all automated and it sucks. I check held comments daily and I haven’t seen any lately. UA-cam censorship is getting ridiculous lol.
@@TheOutdoorExperience Yeah, I'm getting the runaround too. When I and if I get it, I'll let you know. As far as UA-cam censorship I agree, it's getting rediculous. Must be hard to make video's when you have to watch every word you say.
Lucky for me, I chose an easy niche. Some of my gun range and hunting videos have had restrictions but as far as the rest, it’s all family friendly lol
Whats your top speed on the hwy?
Highest I got was 58mph but I usually get around 55.
It looks like it shaking? and your voice is vibrating at 40 plus speed any problems..
The place I ordered from had the tires overinflated. It’s better now since I let some air out to the recommended PSI. Still running strong after almost 1k miles
Where did you buy it from?
I bought it online at ArlingtonPowersports.com
where did u buy it from? like what website?
@@isaiahlea856 ArlingtonPowersports.com
@@TheOutdoorExperience thx for the link
Is it a smooth ride or is there a lot of vibration?
There was a lot of vibration on this ride but afterwards, I checked the tire pressure and they had it over inflated when they assembled it. It was at 46psi and it’s supposed to be 32psi. On my next ride, it was much smoother at 34psi but there’s still a little bit of vibration. Not enough to bother me though.
@@TheOutdoorExperience Thank you!! Makes sense
who did U order it from
Arlington Powersports
When did you change the oil?
I did the first change at 300 miles because it was recommended. I did the second one at 500 miles because I’m going to do it every 500 miles after that. The gear oil I did at 300 miles and then I’m gonna do the next one at 1000 miles and then every 1000 miles after that.
where did you buy it?
Arlingtonpowersports.com
@@TheOutdoorExperience i think they are the same company their website is exactly the same
@@percyprempeh-mann8013 If I remember correctly, TXPowersports has a different store but but both have the same website. It’s confusing 😆
Top speed?
I hit 58 with a headwind and I weigh 195. It advertises 62+
60s is nice thanks bro
How much did you pay for the scooter?🤔
$2365 total to ship fully assembled.
Odd differences in parts from other cheap scooters. Hard to get some critical parts for this reason. Not a good buy.
Why is your voice vibrating? Is it because of the tires? Has it been dependable? I am skeptical about these chinese cheap bikes. Thanks.
This was the first ride and I didn’t know that the tires were overinflated from the shop I got it from. I lowered the PSI and it’s much better now. I’m up to 300 miles on this now and I’m loving it. No issues yet.
@@TheOutdoorExperience Thank you for the reply. I'm glad it is working out well for you! Would love to buy one but I am very concerned about quality issues.
This is my 3rd Chinese scooter in the last 12 years and I haven’t had one fail me yet if that helps any. I think the ones who have problems are people who ride the hell out of them. They’re met for just normal daily commutes.
You can buy a Zuma if you are scared of the Chinese versions. BTW zumas are 6k out the door.
i dont want no luggage that's to much
I haven’t used them yet myself but they are nice to have. I just store them away til I need them.
need some gloves right? lol
