Hi I enjoy your videos and this is gonna sound weird but I literally purposefully now put your videos on at night before bed - your voice is sooo soothing like you have the most calming voice ever made for radio/ ASMR. Also I can tell you really love what you do, I considered real estate before I realized my calling because I love homes, ever since I was a kid my mom would even bring me home books from the little stands out in front of grocery stores that would be free idk if they even still have them but yea I love homes and love your channel!!! The issue is… that home was 780k in 2017ish. Our taxes in Propser are expensive and well worth it for the schools. However, to pay property taxes on that is wild. We in prosper are also full 😅 You are in La Cima Estates. Thanks for showing it.
Great pricing since construction alone now would get up there. Any pocket listings in the park cities? People are still asking unreasonable amounts for tear downs.

1100 square foot tract home in Santa Monica on a 5000 square foot lot is $1.8 million dollars.

I love new construction, but it will get to a point where you will have to move out too far to get it. I think homes from the 2000’s and up are fine. You will have to update, but that’s fine as you can make it your own. You just have to make sure you have that cost in the budget.

Yeah, but what’s the actual square footage, what type of finishes are in the home and most importantly, when did they buy it. Too many people come on these sites and say that without considering these things. This house right here would have been 700k 5-6 years ago!

They getting what is asked for ... after looking at thousands of home and they be over priced... this is better options for me... LOL
I don't know whether to bust a gut laughing or be totally disgusted by the absurdity of the home design industry. This home is only THREE YEARS OLD and according to what is now "trendy" that kitchen must have nearly a complete remodel in order for it to be deemed acceptable. It's already ten times nicer than probably 90% of the world population's homes/kitchens. This constant change in the design industry is driven by that same industry because they want people to be unsatisfied and think they must keep up with the Joneses, thus perpetuating the cycle of spend, spend spend.
I'm sorry. I usually love your tours and the narrative and wisdom you share during the videos. But this time in that still beautiful kitchen you lead off with "the house has good bones" and then go on about changing the counter tops, waterfall edges, light fixtures, etc. I think you need to be commenting the positive things, then, of you must, tell them this three year old kitchen needs a complete renovation.
Commandment #10 cautions us to not covet.
But I still love you and Pearl.

@Super Dill I think he was saying he prefers a more modern design. He said the house was perfectly fine if you prefer traditional. I thought the same thing when looking at the finishes because I like modern. We all have different preferences and that’s ok.

Million dollar homes do not use carpet thru out the hallways ....this home needs to be reduced
Don’t like it at all. For several reasons:
-Too many bathrooms (is it necessary that every bedroom has a full bathroom?
-too much empty/useless space. Outside the theater room and long hallway to get to one of the bedrooms upstairs and room behind the kitchen that leads to the garage connected to the house.
-bedroom that right next to that same garage is a bad idea.
-master bedroom right there by the living room.
-wide open kitchen connected to the living room.
-tiny room by the front door
It’s beautiful on the outside, just not how I would’ve designed the inside of the house.
