Appreciate the video! Though I disagree on the meat and dairy. I focus on high quality meats - organic, grass-fed, pasture raised, etc. And while I haven’t made the conversion to raw milk, low temperature pasteurized, organic milk from grass-fed cows has been so much better on my body than ultra-pasteurized milk.
@CReid-iy9gq I'm in total agreement with u. As a Keto-Carnivore i consume copious amounts of Grass-Fed Beef (Aldi's has the best prices) and Raw Milk that I buys from a Amish farmer. I also consumes Raw Cheeses, Pasture raised eggs, Yogurt & Keri-gold butter and ghee. I'm also big on juicing & keep starchy carbs to a bare minimum. Peeps need to study the works of Dr Weston Price & learn how these types of animal-based foods are extremely health enhancing.
Excellent video…I’m a juicer but still haven’t let go of fish and chicken…I’ve given up sugar, flour, refined carbs. I LOVE my leafy green veggies. I’m still working on giving up chicken wings and salmon😂😂😂 It’s a process.
I love this presentation. My wife has been working with me to change my diet and read the labels and ingredients. I've become a lot better so I will I corporate your suggestions. Thank you!
When you said “food for your hair growth journey” I was sold. HAIR has been my motor this past 4 months for my health journey. I started from the outside because it was easier at first. Then internally I started with my water intake and eating fruits. Then exercising regularly. Then I looked into what food was inflammatory and distanced myself from them. Fried food and sugary foods. I tweaked my diet a month ago and the flakes that I had that resembles seborrheic dermatitis was gone! I had them for 20 years, on and off as my diet was more or less inflammatory. Oh my! It was so simple. I can stretch my wash day for 14 days now with no flakes on the wash day, just some fine dandruff. It’s a huge improvement for me since my scalp was so itchy usually after 5 days. Sometimes even 2 days. I knew that the answer of my issues were in the gut for years but it’s only now that I found my why that I took action in the right direction. Thank you for sharing these tips. I love your holistic approach.
What you eat is very important to a healthy body and healthy hair. I only eat one organic Keto meal per day. Before my meal I drink a tonic made with 4 onces of spring water, 2 tablespoons of organic apple cider vinegar, 1/8 teaspoon organic turmeric, 1/8 teaspoon organic ginger, 1/8 teaspoon organic cayenne pepper. I drink this tonic 15 minutes before my whole food Keto meal. (Braggs use to be very good. But Bill Gates bought Braggs and it is no good anymore.)
You are literally a glowing plant based Queen with your hair crown of glory 🤩🤩 Beautiful video Melissa, thank you 🤍 SO appreciate your sharing. God bless! ✨️✨️🎀
You’ve blessed me again. Thank you 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
This video leaves me with questions. Why is dairy inflammatory, what about the different kinds of milk, is raw or a2 milk better? Is fried foods inflammatory cuz the kind of oil that is typically used, or because it’s simply high in fat? What if a someone who has moved to a vegan diet experienced hair loss? This topic needs more details. Thanks.
Hey! These are great questions. Here’s a quick (but in no way exhaustive) breakdown: 1. Every “body” is different, but dairy can be inflammatory due to lactose intolerance, casein sensitivity, hormones (regardless of whether it’s raw or A2 milk) and antibiotics (found in conventional milk) which can trigger severe inflammation. Personally, dairy was the ultimate asthma attack trigger for me. 2. While oil can be inflammatory, the main problem with fried foods is the high-heat cooking process, which creates harmful compounds. 3. Hair loss on a vegan diet could be due to nutritional gaps, like low protein, iron, or B12. Ensuring a well-rounded intake of nutrients and possibly supplementing where needed can help. Here are some vids that may help: Before and After My Vegan Diet AND What I’m Doing Now| My Transformation Story: ua-cam.com/video/snKmtBRnF8s/v-deo.htmlsi=I44kUnAc0LiCZ7iY The Best Plant-Based Substitutes for a Healthy Vegan Pantry: ua-cam.com/video/TG1ziUDpTP8/v-deo.html How to Grow Healthy Hair on a Whole Food Plant Based Diet ua-cam.com/video/f1KUqnGPHrQ/v-deo.html I encourage you to explore further, this is healthy. Quickie reply: Raw milk (if u can find it) is the way too go. All the nutrients are in tact - better nutrient profile. Stir fry foods are fine if temps are low & u r using the right oils (like coconut or olive or butter). Seed oils are the worst!! I know many vegans who experience health issues including hair loss, cuz they eat too many refined carbs, wheat products (highly inflammatory) & aren't getting all the essential nutrients they need soley from plant based foods. Moreover, many plant based foods are anti-nutrients (due to oxalic acid, phytates, etc..). Read "The Plant Paradox" (huge bestseller) book by Dr Steven Gundry, board certified heart surgeon & nutritionist. Vegans really need to read this - if they aren't getting the health results they were expecting.
I love your videos soooo much and I wanted to buy your oil for hair growth but I’m in France and I see there is no option to deliver there .. Im praying that you could deliver in France soon 🙏🏼😊
Cinnamon is phenomenal!!! Quick tip: if you consume large amounts, cassia cinnamon can be dangerous because of the coumarin in it. Ceylon cinnamon is the safer one 💜
Hey Sis! So here's the scoop: meat, especially red and processed types, can cause chronic inflammation due to its high saturated fats and compounds like AGEs that put stress on the body. Plus, cooking meat at high temps creates even more harmful substances that fuel inflammation. If you’re curious to dive deeper, "The China Study" by Dr. T. Colin Campbell is an amazing read on this topic. I’ll be real-it was tough giving up meat, and I initially replaced it with unhealthy "vegan" foods that kept my inflammation high. But once I truly embraced a whole-food, plant-based diet, my inflammation markers dropped, and I felt incredible healing, inside and out (my hair included!). Beef was my "thing," so discovering I could still get my protein without the inflammation was a game-changer for me. Now, every "body" is different, and some might tolerate meat better than others. But I’m just sharing what worked for me. I go into more about my healing journey (and share my hair transformation) in this video: Before and After My Vegan Diet AND What I’m Doing Now | My Transformation Story: ua-cam.com/video/snKmtBRnF8s/v-deo.html❤ Hope this helps!
Eat organic and grass fed/grass finished meats, not regular crap from any grocery store. Omitting meat completely is NOT good for you . Just eat the good clean kind
Some of the more recent science shows that meat is not healthy, particularly red meat. (And processed meat is unhealthy, but I don't think that's news 🤔 😂)
Hey! I absolutely love rosemary for hair growth! It’s phenomenal and especially shines as an external application for hair growth.
