I didn't actually interact with him but when I worked at Surrender Nightclub in Vegas years ago Hugh was passing through the entryway where people line up to get in and most celebrities aren't trying to sit around and wait to get through the madness and request they be escorted through. Hugh was so nice to the staff and waited like any regular person to pass by the club entrance and it really humanized him to me. I don't know a lot about the guy but he was patient and treated people with respect and that was great to see.

You know Reynolds and Jackman have to be super good friends for him to go through that physical alteration process for Wolverine because everything I've ever heard or read about it is that the process is very brutal

I saw the Music Man twice. Once with my father, which was his 2019 Christmas present after having a triple bypass in September that year and waiting for two years due to COVID, and another with my sister over the summer. And both times, Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster and the entire cast were absolute magic on stage. We left the theater with huge smiles on our faces thanks to the love they all had for the show

The fact that he recognised members of the audience from being at his shows too is amazing (I’m not a theatre dude so this could be a common thing among lead actors), I’ve played a fair few music gigs and usually I’m so focused on the show I’m putting on I’d recognise people over the show or a couple nights if they come back, but never outside of the venue.
No, it's an astounding feat. I've been in plays, nothing like the capacity crowds he would be playing for, and you're so lost in the flow of the story and playing off your fellow actors, that you almost forget that there is an audience. For him to recognise faces in the crowd is unreal....

Got to see Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster in the Music Man on New Year's Day. Everyone was fantastic and it looked like the entire cast was having so much fun playing off each other! There was a moment during the second act where Hugh broke character and started laughing uncontrollably because Sutton's character physically pushed him back a little too hard. They both broke out into laughter and the audience laughed with them. That's the fun thing about live shows; you never know what could happen but everyone is there for the ride. You also get to see their personalities come through during those brief times which is also fun for the audience!
The movie Logan, was probably the only movie that was too emotionally intense for me to finish. Probably the only movie I was too distressed to finish.
I was afraid Logan would be too gory for me, but I was okay with the fight scenes. It was sad to see the end of Wolverine, but the movie was fantastic!
Lets all just accept there is a 100% chance that Deadpool and Wolverine will have a musical number in this film. It could be the biggest thing since "Rogers: The Musical"....god help us.

Seeing The Music Man in Row 2 with my daughter was one of the most special evenings of my entire life. I have seen many Broadway shows, but few have been anywhere as near perfectly wonderful and delightful as this, with Sutton and Hugh in the lead roles.❤️ I completely agree with Stephen that it was the most purely entertaining show on Broadway in recent memory.
