Yhwach (Old man Zangetsu) actually told everyone a long time ago how he can be defeated. When Ichigo trained for his Bankai and Old man Zangetsu was materialised, he said to Ichigo that only the "real" shikai will be able to defeat him. I think this is another boss level foreshadowing of Kubo.
It's a pity that Kubo's issues made this climactic battle rushed and rather abrupt. I would hope the Anime improves on it. Still Yhwach being subject to Aizen's illusions was rather refreshing and then him realizing what that vision truly meant was quite a send off before he became the new Spirit King. The very fate he was terrified to death of.

Ichigo still has his Hollow, Quincy, soul reaper, and fullbring powers. Tsukishima has the power to rewrite reality and he rewrote Ichigos Bankai breaking and him losing his powers. This is confirmed by Kubo during an interview for the one shot Hell chapter where he states Ichigo can chose to have a singular zanpakuto or dual wield. Meaning he still has two zanpakuto spirits.

Old man Zangetsu told Ichigo during his bankai training that he had to find his sword and only THAT SWORD would defeat him. And old man Zangetsu being Bach himself told Ichigo all that time ago it was his original sword that would finish the job
@@goxy287 It's less foreshadowing it at the start, and more being creative by taking advantage of something you previous wrote and using it to book end your current work. It's pretty naïve to think that Kubo planned that particular detail out that far in advance, the TYBW arc was pretty clearly an add-on to the story.

Think the fight - fights might get extended \ switch at certain points and extra stuff thrown . Wish the fight¿¤¿ confrontation got extended to. Hell it can be the greatest draw in history and it would get a thousand more praises.
Yhwach's first mistake is to go and talk to Aizen in the Muken, while he knew the abilities of aizen's zanpakuto as well as what kind of character he was dealing with. And once he was under the influence of Kyoka suigetsu, he can't escape from it, moreover Yhwach hadn't awakened the Almighty yet before he faced the 0 division.

I never believed why people wanted Ichigo to end up with Rukia when their dynamic was unprecedented in most manga at the time : she wasn't his lover, she was his confident. Orihime explained it best, Rukia as always been the one that managed to cheer up Ichigo even in his lowest moments and she's the one that enabled him to finally fight to protect others. She's the only person Ichigo can come to and open up about his weaknesses without being judged in the slightest. Hell, he doesn't even need to talk and she still finds out how upset Ichigo feels. Having them become lover would've undermine the immense trust and respect they have for each other so I'm really happy they did end up with each other. That and the fact that Ichigo went with Orihime feets his prude nature around other more mature-looking women.

Which makes sense. If his Zanpakuto was restored and he can use Bankai it means his Zanpakuto spirits are still around in some shape or form. Ajd since they are the source of his powers, his powers were certain to return as well.

I'm pretty sure Yhwach would only be able to take back the small piece of his soul that resembled the young Yhwach was in Ichigo that said he kept restricting Ichigo's powers to protect him

Ichigo’s performance against “base Ywach” is severely lacking. Especially after him scaling to a much stronger soulking infused Ywach, and being able to kill him twice (and the second time sticking).
The idea that Ichigo and Rukia needed to get together at the end of the series comes from the archaic belief that men and women can't be friends, and that they have to develop romantic and/ or sexual feelings for each other if they spend any amount of time together... which any human being who has ever had friends of the opposite sex can tell you is completely false and just ridiculous.
I wish Kubo ha the health and time to really make this arc amazing but I love how you were able to see the complexity of what Kubo may have been aiming for. It makes sense as well.
I have this feeling that Kubo was using the pacing to emphasize their need to not give any ground to Yhwach. No long pauses. No monologuing. Just pushing and gaining momentum. And that the exposition we get is from Sōken, a realization deep from within Yhwach as to how he created his own downfall through his hubris and culling of his own “children”. Just a thought

Yhwach can manipulate the future that he sees, even when the future he is seeing is a fabrication made by Kyoka Suigetsu. That means that when he cracks Ichigo's Bankai, he was attempting to break the illusory Bankai. It wasn't luck that saved Ichigo's Zanpakuto, as Yhwach assumes; it was Aizen's hypnosis.

i like this interpretation, it seems to tie it all up. something you said mid video made it all click again, "kubo didn't have time to set up his foreshadows for upcoming events" jesus you're absolutely right. if we see it through the lens of this isn't a Kubo vision it was a check list that he had to pull together . my bet is if he had up to chp 707 he could've tied in more but it wouldn't be fair to him and the Other Half of the arc that we had to leave behind with so many questions (i hope we get some answered in the new series / Manga)
I was thinking that the future and the events of the final battle and the last chapter are happening simultaneously but Ichigo killing him with the arrow is what stopped the emergence. Also iirc Yhwach states that he would kill them in the future when Ichigo is most happy. Also there is no real proof of Kazui having the power to do such thing.

There's just one thing that still bugs me to this day: If Yhwach had the ability to see and alter the future, shouldn't that allow him to see that he was going to be affected by Kyoka Suigetsu beforehand? I've been wondering how that is supposed to work.
While sacrificing the actual storyline and plot. It was a crap plot. The only good parts were seeing the bankai of each character, the rest was hot garbage.

For the expansion of the anime, I hope we get to see the full potential of the True Tensa Zangetsu before Yhwach breaks it and before it takes the likeness of the OG Shikai Zangetsu. Plus wouldn't hurt to see more new Getsuga Tenshō techniques from Ichigo. And maybe just maybe Aizen's and Isshin's and Ukitake's Bankai.

Wouldnt it be broken ash if ichigos bankai ability "the ability to change fate" worked in the way as to which upon activation of his true bankai, no matter ichigos motive or objective, he cannot mentally nor physically lose due to zangetsu(s) themself providing him with the definite victory in battle upon the millions of possibilities and also allowing him to create a plethra of his own where when activating true bankai ichigo constantly creates and alters every future, past, and present where he would lose and it changes to him winning everytime.
It’s hard to explain but I think his ability isn’t to change his fate to be a definite victory, but rather it prevents a definite defeat. If his fate is for him to lose no matter what, he doesn’t change his to to be to win no matter what but rather opens up the possibility to win by shattering fate
Considering how Aizen had a hole blown through his chest by Yhwach, what if that whole sequence of events was itself an illusion? Renji losing his arm, proceeding to be revealed as Ichigo, then turning into Aizen... What if Aizen wasn't actually wounded at all and it was just a multi-layered illusion to serve as a diversion? Assuming there's a lot more going on "behind the scenes" that was never shown explicitly, it would actually explain a lot more than just the final fight. What if Aizen was using Kyouka Suigetsu even before he himself showed up...?
Two things to say 1) aizen was pretending to be both ichigo and renji, that’s why when renji lost his arm, aizen was later shown missing an arm. However, there is a panel of aizen using goryu tenmetsu and his left arm is intact (I’m basing off this video, this might not be accurate) 2) my head canon is that ywatch was so powerful aizen had to physically take the place of the others to make it believable. Cause he’s been shown to literally “not be there”, but didn’t do that here, since aizen is injured when ichigo arrives
@@asianpersuasion4901 Interesting. The main reason I always assumed he had been using his ability since before he announces it, is because he frankly just uses the same tactic repeatedly. Create a complex illusion, layer upon it as needed, repeat. The only way I can see Yhwach actually seeing through his ability is by carefully observing every single future and carefully dissecting the differences between each one, rather than just choosing randomly between those where he wins. It mostly came down to Yhwach's overconfidence and not even taking AIZEN seriously. Plus, the scene of Aizen missing his arm and being impaled could have been an illusion as well. Remember, his ability goes beyond the senses, and it's literally impossible to know what's real or fake when Aizen is involved.
Lmao anyone who says they are bleach fans and either read the Manga or seen the anime and still couldn't tell the chemistry between orihime and ichigo can't call themselves fans. Like I can understand misunderstanding the relationship between rukia and ichigo at the start but once orihime became a thing that 360 itself
all of you missed the deep love renji and rukia already had. rukia and renji loved each other since they were kids, but the love was strained, until Ichigo kicked renji in the butt for not being honest with Rukia about his feelings. Ichigo never ever saw rukia romantically. If anything he saw her as another one of his sisters and rukia looked up to ichigo as the protective brother she'd wanted since byukia also needed his butt kicked by ichigo for being too much about duty and not enough about family. Ichigo and orihime did not love each other right away, but it definitely developed over the adventures first being realized by orihime then by ichigo when she's kidnapped. He realizes how much her quiet support and faith had always meant to him and how her love had filled the sadness in his heart. If you missed this then you don't get to comment on anything bleach because this was basic internal conflict. Do you guys really know ichigo's desires at all? I mean really did no one see the ichigo was suicidal in the beginning of the story? rukia gave him hope to live because he'd been burdening himself so much over his feelings of guilt to not protect his mother from dying. Rukia needed to be the tough big sister who gave him the chance to gain closure for this. But Orihime was the natural path for ichigo. This was even easily represented by the choice in the color of their hair and how much orihime resembled ichigo's own mother. Rukia was always too much the tomboy where as Orihime was gentle and smiling like his mother. If you missed this then you need need need to go back.
The thing I'd really like to see expanded in adaptation is all about Ryuken Ishida. To see him (as an adult) for once losing his chill and confronting Yhwach, face to face. Because he has more reasons to hate Yhwach than any other character in Bleach. Because of him, Ryuken lost his wife, who was close to him since his childhood, his childhood friend he cared so much about, most likely his mother and other quincies he knew. He truly deserves a spotlight much more emotional than just straight giving Ishida a key to defeat a villain. You'd think that he would choose to try and defeat the source of his suffering by himself first, maybe even dying in process, instead of risking to lose his son - the only family member that he still has. Because we've already seen that he's not a cold-blooded robot of a character: he's always willing to help Ishida, he actually cared about Katagiri, he was scared for Masaki's life. And he still has it but all the deaths around him made him lock this soft side deep inside.
The thing with letting Ishida use the arrow, is Ryuken trusting his son also with this, it shows you that he is not so self absorb with his revenge that he forgot to consider Ishida within his plans.
And one more Important point I think most of BLEACH fans doesn't know . when yhwach meets aizen his mouth was sealed he can't talk means he uses Kyouka suigetsu to talk. Man What a badass😎
I think that this fight works really well it just needed more time in between everything that happened becouse for now the fight is more of a synopsis of what happened
Aizen's bankai, Isshin accompanying Ryuken to give Ishida the Silver Arrow, Ishida firing the arrow at the exact moment to Yhwach, and Ichigo's true bankai ability to shatter fate are the reason for Yhwach's defeat. I can't wait for these to be animated, maybe Kubo will go with a more detailed and précised explanation on this because he has all the time in the world to fix the manga while the world is appreciating the Bleach TYBW who's currently sitting at #3 in the All-Time Anime in MyAnimeList.
Also the form the blade takes is purely reflective of his shinigami powers, as Ywach took his Quincy powers (which were linked to his hollow centric powers) this left him with just his base shinigami powers and thus the blade bare from the white or chains.

i appreciate this video so much , i had many confusions on the last few chapters , i would have paid more attention while reading those chapter if i had experience with connecting the dots , as a manga reader and a youtuber you pay a lot of attention to every decision made you laid every event chronologically which makes the general viewer understand easily , if bleach had always been like this giving the audiences every hint and rather explaining make them read between the lines , i am sure we would have become accustomed to it , and not many of us would have been confused . thanks

Ichigo getting married to Orihime is only logical! Because Ichigo is grateful to Rukia but not in love with her, Rukia is more like a benefactor to Ichigo than a love target for him. Beside's he went to hueco mundo to save Orihime, and we could see how desparet Ichigo was to save her!!! (Not to mention that Ichigo knew about Renji's feelings for Rukia!)
I don’t know how anyone thought rukia and ichigo would end up together … they are like siblings. Much like his father, ichigo is to fall in love with a human, which was shown many times through out the show, including my favourite part which is the fight with ulquiorra.
I truly hope that the anime that's coming will have "filler". By that I mean like showing the zero squad fights, slowing down and adding detail to the fighting at the end, things like that.

Ichigo’s zanpaktou spirit is a quincy-hollow hybrid. Ichigo’s true bankia is just all his hollow and quincy abilities working in tandem, from his hollow spirit’s ability to use high speed regeneration, etc and his quincy spirit’s reishi absorption/manipulation, blut, etc. He basically becomes a damage sponge with unlimited reishi and nothing got to do with “faith manipulation”. Shikia and Bankia don’t have unrelated abilities.. Ichigo only ability is base hollow and quincy abilities w/ shinigami techniques inherently hereditary since his dad use the same techniques he does.
It’s interesting how ichigo is someone that shatter fate and is now with a woman who’s powers are the ability to reject fate. Makes me very interesting in what kazui will be able to do in the future. Great video! You should make a video on zangetsu the zanpakuto like about how ichigo’s original shikai was his bankai or how his original zangetsu is now possible his zanpakuto’s sealed form.
One other thing I hope they change is more of the dialogue, instead of Yhwach constantly reminding Ichigo that he killed his mother, maybe have Yhwach bring up how messed up the world is, how he wants to get rid of death and make Ichigo question the Soul Society.
This ain't something as well thought out and free from holes, but just imagine the reason he couldn't see he's demise by ichgo was because his powers were nullified beyond a certain point of that time line. I think its an interesting thought for fun.
TBH I am about to start but I just want to say: I feel like the reason Ichigo killed Ywach or w/e, is because when he broke him down to just his pure shinigami powers, they were purely hollow powers which had the power to eliminate him entirely. Other than that, I am going to watch your video now.
Honestly, at this point, my fondest hope is that everything past and including the second invasion gets heavily re-written for the anime. Especially the stuff involving Yhwach - I would be absolutely thrilled if they completely wrote out the Almighty and did something different - that power was absolute stupidity in terms of writing personified. "I can see the future, I can make myself immune to any power I understand, I can manipulate timelines, I can change future events in the timeline *before they happen*, and I can even retroactively bring myself back from the dead" is one of the most dumb, busted sets of powers I've read about in fiction. Yhwach was much better before he got his funny googly eyes.
Once Yhwach touched Aizen, think touching the Zanpakuto or when Yhwach died, the effect of the hypnosis was lost IMO. Thus I suspect Yhwach did not sense Ishida because that future was hidden from him. Yhwach was only seeing possible futures so since Ishida was in one he did not see he might as well have not existed.
I realize this is 5 months old. But if you recall earlier when Ichigo is training with Zero squad and learns that Old Man Zangetsu wasn’t his real bankai.. old man zangetsu tells ichigo the old sword that can defeat him is the normal shikai mode. Zangetsu, also being, but not being Ywch, told ichigo he wanted him to succeed as a soul reaper. It was a full circle… to ywch basicslly defeating himself.
Aizen had nothing to do with Uryu's attack landing. The Antithesis lets Uryu circumvent the Almighty's future sight, which is why Haschwalth was unable to foresee certain actions from Uryu when he had the Almighty. That's precisely why Ryuken said Uryu had to be the one to shoot it. Probably guessed it because Uryu was immune to Auswahlen.
The only problem I have with this Arc is that ichigo doesn't counter yhwach ideology. Usually in anime the MC makes the antagonist realize he wrong. Maybe that why i felt unsatisfied with arc.
The ONE thing that I like but also dislike about Bleach, is that there seems to be so many story lines to follow. There's simply too many characters to keep up with and it makes it really underwhelming because you never feel fulfilled in each one.
Really, the ending could be fine without changing anything. It just needs on screen explanation for A LOT of open plot points. With the number of unfired chekhov gun's Kubo had, he could start an army for gods sake. Who is Yawatch? what is his past FULLY including specifically his relationship with the soul king (aka his dad apparently)? That also causes a need to explain the soul king more though and the history of...well everything I guess. how did the current system of three worlds come to be? How is the soul king so strong to manipulate reality? etc... This would (hopefully) give us a cause to Yawatch's end goal and give greater detail on Ichigo's powers due to his mixed heritage AND explain Yawatch's powers more AND explain why he became so OP once he absorbed the Soul King. Once that's done, we need to finish any other fights that were left open-ended (Urahara/Grimmjow/Nel/Youroich/Chad etc...). that could be done for some as an after battle flashback I suppose, but we really need to know what happened to those characters at least. Additional, a slow down/breakdown of the final fight a bit would be nice. It makes sense that Aizen blocked/distorted Yawatch's future site to a point where it was unreliable and the Arrow stops his powers for a moment. But a brief moment to explain it would do a lot to lessen frustrations and give a clear reason as to how the heck a literal god got beaten. Lastly, Ichigo...we need to know what happened with his sword/powers definitively. It's a pretty important detail IMO. What was his new Bankai? After beating Yawatch, what powers does he have any more? What was up with his sword in the final strike etc... If there is one thing I would change or make sure to have, it would be to make sure Ichigo DOES still have his Hollow and maybe even Quincy powers. Else the entire character arc he just went thru, seems like a pointless waste of time for the plot (aside from being a nice story on its own). I really hope the Anime gives time to explain these things. If so, it could be a marvelous send-off to the franchise after waiting for so long. And given a lot of the details have been sorted out in the books that came out after the manga ended, I see no reason they couldn't give Kubo the time to fill in some blanks in the plot.
Some points you mentioned were answered in the light novel: Can't fear your own world but I do agree. I wish they put infos from the light novels into the TYBW arc instead.. unless they plan on serializing them.

Yhwach (Old man Zangetsu) actually told everyone a long time ago how he can be defeated. When Ichigo trained for his Bankai and Old man Zangetsu was materialised, he said to Ichigo that only the "real" shikai will be able to defeat him. I think this is another boss level foreshadowing of Kubo.

It's a pity that Kubo's issues made this climactic battle rushed and rather abrupt. I would hope the Anime improves on it. Still Yhwach being subject to Aizen's illusions was rather refreshing and then him realizing what that vision truly meant was quite a send off before he became the new Spirit King. The very fate he was terrified to death of.

What gives you the impression you're not under the effects if Kyoka Suigetsu?
Ichigo still has his Hollow, Quincy, soul reaper, and fullbring powers. Tsukishima has the power to rewrite reality and he rewrote Ichigos Bankai breaking and him losing his powers. This is confirmed by Kubo during an interview for the one shot Hell chapter where he states Ichigo can chose to have a singular zanpakuto or dual wield. Meaning he still has two zanpakuto spirits.
This. Tsukishima is pretty much the reason Ichigo didn't end up powerless again at the conclusion of his duel with Yhwach.

Yhwach's first mistake is to go and talk to Aizen in the Muken, while he knew the abilities of aizen's zanpakuto as well as what kind of character he was dealing with. And once he was under the influence of Kyoka suigetsu, he can't escape from it, moreover Yhwach hadn't awakened the Almighty yet before he faced the 0 division.
Yhwach needed to actually see Kyoka Suigetsu's release in order to be under the hypnosis, which didn't happen.

I'm seriously hoping the anime goes in a different direction, delivering the original vision Kubo had for the last arc and series finale.
I never believed why people wanted Ichigo to end up with Rukia when their dynamic was unprecedented in most manga at the time : she wasn't his lover, she was his confident. Orihime explained it best, Rukia as always been the one that managed to cheer up Ichigo even in his lowest moments and she's the one that enabled him to finally fight to protect others. She's the only person Ichigo can come to and open up about his weaknesses without being judged in the slightest. Hell, he doesn't even need to talk and she still finds out how upset Ichigo feels. Having them become lover would've undermine the immense trust and respect they have for each other so I'm really happy they did end up with each other.
That and the fact that Ichigo went with Orihime feets his prude nature around other more mature-looking women.

Which makes sense. If his Zanpakuto was restored and he can use Bankai it means his Zanpakuto spirits are still around in some shape or form. Ajd since they are the source of his powers, his powers were certain to return as well.

I have this feeling that Kubo was using the pacing to emphasize their need to not give any ground to Yhwach. No long pauses. No monologuing. Just pushing and gaining momentum. And that the exposition we get is from Sōken, a realization deep from within Yhwach as to how he created his own downfall through his hubris and culling of his own “children”. Just a thought

Yhwach can manipulate the future that he sees, even when the future he is seeing is a fabrication made by Kyoka Suigetsu. That means that when he cracks Ichigo's Bankai, he was attempting to break the illusory Bankai. It wasn't luck that saved Ichigo's Zanpakuto, as Yhwach assumes; it was Aizen's hypnosis.

I was thinking that the future and the events of the final battle and the last chapter are happening simultaneously but Ichigo killing him with the arrow is what stopped the emergence. Also iirc Yhwach states that he would kill them in the future when Ichigo is most happy. Also there is no real proof of Kazui having the power to do such thing.

For the expansion of the anime, I hope we get to see the full potential of the True Tensa Zangetsu before Yhwach breaks it and before it takes the likeness of the OG Shikai Zangetsu. Plus wouldn't hurt to see more new Getsuga Tenshō techniques from Ichigo. And maybe just maybe Aizen's and Isshin's and Ukitake's Bankai.
And Aizen did all of this without using his Bankai, imagine how OP he would be if he used his Bankai.

Wouldnt it be broken ash if ichigos bankai ability "the ability to change fate" worked in the way as to which upon activation of his true bankai, no matter ichigos motive or objective, he cannot mentally nor physically lose due to zangetsu(s) themself providing him with the definite victory in battle upon the millions of possibilities and also allowing him to create a plethra of his own where when activating true bankai ichigo constantly creates and alters every future, past, and present where he would lose and it changes to him winning everytime.
That would just be plot armor
It’s hard to explain but I think his ability isn’t to change his fate to be a definite victory, but rather it prevents a definite defeat. If his fate is for him to lose no matter what, he doesn’t change his to to be to win no matter what but rather opens up the possibility to win by shattering fate

Considering how Aizen had a hole blown through his chest by Yhwach, what if that whole sequence of events was itself an illusion? Renji losing his arm, proceeding to be revealed as Ichigo, then turning into Aizen... What if Aizen wasn't actually wounded at all and it was just a multi-layered illusion to serve as a diversion?
Assuming there's a lot more going on "behind the scenes" that was never shown explicitly, it would actually explain a lot more than just the final fight. What if Aizen was using Kyouka Suigetsu even before he himself showed up...?
Two things to say
1) aizen was pretending to be both ichigo and renji, that’s why when renji lost his arm, aizen was later shown missing an arm. However, there is a panel of aizen using goryu tenmetsu and his left arm is intact (I’m basing off this video, this might not be accurate)
2) my head canon is that ywatch was so powerful aizen had to physically take the place of the others to make it believable. Cause he’s been shown to literally “not be there”, but didn’t do that here, since aizen is injured when ichigo arrives
@@asianpersuasion4901 Interesting. The main reason I always assumed he had been using his ability since before he announces it, is because he frankly just uses the same tactic repeatedly. Create a complex illusion, layer upon it as needed, repeat. The only way I can see Yhwach actually seeing through his ability is by carefully observing every single future and carefully dissecting the differences between each one, rather than just choosing randomly between those where he wins. It mostly came down to Yhwach's overconfidence and not even taking AIZEN seriously. Plus, the scene of Aizen missing his arm and being impaled could have been an illusion as well. Remember, his ability goes beyond the senses, and it's literally impossible to know what's real or fake when Aizen is involved.
Lmao anyone who says they are bleach fans and either read the Manga or seen the anime and still couldn't tell the chemistry between orihime and ichigo can't call themselves fans. Like I can understand misunderstanding the relationship between rukia and ichigo at the start but once orihime became a thing that 360 itself
all of you missed the deep love renji and rukia already had. rukia and renji loved each other since they were kids, but the love was strained, until Ichigo kicked renji in the butt for not being honest with Rukia about his feelings. Ichigo never ever saw rukia romantically. If anything he saw her as another one of his sisters and rukia looked up to ichigo as the protective brother she'd wanted since byukia also needed his butt kicked by ichigo for being too much about duty and not enough about family. Ichigo and orihime did not love each other right away, but it definitely developed over the adventures first being realized by orihime then by ichigo when she's kidnapped. He realizes how much her quiet support and faith had always meant to him and how her love had filled the sadness in his heart. If you missed this then you don't get to comment on anything bleach because this was basic internal conflict. Do you guys really know ichigo's desires at all? I mean really did no one see the ichigo was suicidal in the beginning of the story? rukia gave him hope to live because he'd been burdening himself so much over his feelings of guilt to not protect his mother from dying. Rukia needed to be the tough big sister who gave him the chance to gain closure for this. But Orihime was the natural path for ichigo. This was even easily represented by the choice in the color of their hair and how much orihime resembled ichigo's own mother. Rukia was always too much the tomboy where as Orihime was gentle and smiling like his mother. If you missed this then you need need need to go back.
The thing I'd really like to see expanded in adaptation is all about Ryuken Ishida. To see him (as an adult) for once losing his chill and confronting Yhwach, face to face.
Because he has more reasons to hate Yhwach than any other character in Bleach. Because of him, Ryuken lost his wife, who was close to him since his childhood, his childhood friend he cared so much about, most likely his mother and other quincies he knew.
He truly deserves a spotlight much more emotional than just straight giving Ishida a key to defeat a villain. You'd think that he would choose to try and defeat the source of his suffering by himself first, maybe even dying in process, instead of risking to lose his son - the only family member that he still has.
Because we've already seen that he's not a cold-blooded robot of a character: he's always willing to help Ishida, he actually cared about Katagiri, he was scared for Masaki's life. And he still has it but all the deaths around him made him lock this soft side deep inside.
The thing with letting Ishida use the arrow, is Ryuken trusting his son also with this, it shows you that he is not so self absorb with his revenge that he forgot to consider Ishida within his plans.

when yhwach meets aizen his mouth was sealed he can't talk means he uses Kyouka suigetsu to talk. Man What a badass😎
I think that this fight works really well it just needed more time in between everything that happened becouse for now the fight is more of a synopsis of what happened

Aizen's bankai, Isshin accompanying Ryuken to give Ishida the Silver Arrow, Ishida firing the arrow at the exact moment to Yhwach, and Ichigo's true bankai ability to shatter fate are the reason for Yhwach's defeat. I can't wait for these to be animated, maybe Kubo will go with a more detailed and précised explanation on this because he has all the time in the world to fix the manga while the world is appreciating the Bleach TYBW who's currently sitting at #3 in the All-Time Anime in MyAnimeList.
Also the form the blade takes is purely reflective of his shinigami powers, as Ywach took his Quincy powers (which were linked to his hollow centric powers) this left him with just his base shinigami powers and thus the blade bare from the white or chains.
I think he will make the ending in the anime much better due to his health now is much better

i appreciate this video so much , i had many confusions on the last few chapters , i would have paid more attention while reading those chapter if i had experience with connecting the dots , as a manga reader and a youtuber you pay a lot of attention to every decision made you laid every event chronologically which makes the general viewer understand easily , if bleach had always been like this giving the audiences every hint and rather explaining make them read between the lines , i am sure we would have become accustomed to it , and not many of us would have been confused .

The only L take here is Saitama. The man is depressed because nobody is strong enough to challenge him. If he was dropped in the DBZ world, he’d train his ass off until he was Top 1 in the verse.
Ichigo getting married to Orihime is only logical! Because Ichigo is grateful to Rukia but not in love with her, Rukia is more like a benefactor to Ichigo than a love target for him. Beside's he went to hueco mundo to save Orihime, and we could see how desparet Ichigo was to save her!!! (Not to mention that Ichigo knew about Renji's feelings for Rukia!)

I don’t know how anyone thought rukia and ichigo would end up together … they are like siblings. Much like his father, ichigo is to fall in love with a human, which was shown many times through out the show, including my favourite part which is the fight with ulquiorra.
This was really Aizen real crack at the Soul King in a sense!
I truly hope that the anime that's coming will have "filler". By that I mean like showing the zero squad fights, slowing down and adding detail to the fighting at the end, things like that.

Ichigo and Rukia doesn’t work for me…. Main reason is Rukia is like a 100+ years older. She’s more like a big sister in my eyes to Ichigo

The relationship betwn kaien and rukia just means ichigo and rukia are like brother and sister
Ichigo’s zanpaktou spirit is a quincy-hollow hybrid. Ichigo’s true bankia is just all his hollow and quincy abilities working in tandem, from his hollow spirit’s ability to use high speed regeneration, etc and his quincy spirit’s reishi absorption/manipulation, blut, etc. He basically becomes a damage sponge with unlimited reishi and nothing got to do with “faith manipulation”.
Shikia and Bankia don’t have unrelated abilities.. Ichigo only ability is base hollow and quincy abilities w/ shinigami techniques inherently hereditary since his dad use the same techniques he does.
It’s interesting how ichigo is someone that shatter fate and is now with a woman who’s powers are the ability to reject fate.
Makes me very interesting in what kazui will be able to do in the future.

You should make a video on zangetsu the zanpakuto like about how ichigo’s original shikai was his bankai or how his original zangetsu is now possible his zanpakuto’s sealed form.
One other thing I hope they change is more of the dialogue, instead of Yhwach constantly reminding Ichigo that he killed his mother, maybe have Yhwach bring up how messed up the world is, how he wants to get rid of death and make Ichigo question the Soul Society.
People really had trouble figuring out where the arrow came from? I always thought it was pretty obvious the silver came from Uryu’s mom…
This ain't something as well thought out and free from holes, but just imagine the reason he couldn't see he's demise by ichgo was because his powers were nullified beyond a certain point of that time line. I think its an interesting thought for fun.
TBH I am about to start but I just want to say: I feel like the reason Ichigo killed Ywach or w/e, is because when he broke him down to just his pure shinigami powers, they were purely hollow powers which had the power to eliminate him entirely.
Other than that, I am going to watch your video now.
Honestly, at this point, my fondest hope is that everything past and including the second invasion gets heavily re-written for the anime. Especially the stuff involving Yhwach - I would be absolutely thrilled if they completely wrote out the Almighty and did something different - that power was absolute stupidity in terms of writing personified. "I can see the future, I can make myself immune to any power I understand, I can manipulate timelines, I can change future events in the timeline *before they happen*, and I can even retroactively bring myself back from the dead" is one of the most dumb, busted sets of powers I've read about in fiction. Yhwach was much better before he got his funny googly eyes.
There are lots of theories and angles as to why Ichigo was able to return to base form during that final fight
Once Yhwach touched Aizen, think touching the Zanpakuto or when Yhwach died, the effect of the hypnosis was lost IMO. Thus I suspect Yhwach did not sense Ishida because that future was hidden from him. Yhwach was only seeing possible futures so since Ishida was in one he did not see he might as well have not existed.
Ichigo's bankai hidden power is Protagonism, he can kill any enemy.

I realize this is 5 months old. But if you recall earlier when Ichigo is training with Zero squad and learns that Old Man Zangetsu wasn’t his real bankai.. old man zangetsu tells ichigo the old sword that can defeat him is the normal shikai mode. Zangetsu, also being, but not being Ywch, told ichigo he wanted him to succeed as a soul reaper. It was a full circle… to ywch basicslly defeating himself.
Aizen had nothing to do with Uryu's attack landing. The Antithesis lets Uryu circumvent the Almighty's future sight, which is why Haschwalth was unable to foresee certain actions from Uryu when he had the Almighty. That's precisely why Ryuken said Uryu had to be the one to shoot it. Probably guessed it because Uryu was immune to Auswahlen.
The only problem I have with this Arc is that ichigo doesn't counter yhwach ideology. Usually in anime the MC makes the antagonist realize he wrong. Maybe that why i felt unsatisfied with arc.

The ONE thing that I like but also dislike about Bleach, is that there seems to be so many story lines to follow. There's simply too many characters to keep up with and it makes it really underwhelming because you never feel fulfilled in each one.
Really, the ending could be fine without changing anything. It just needs on screen explanation for A LOT of open plot points. With the number of unfired chekhov gun's Kubo had, he could start an army for gods sake.
Who is Yawatch? what is his past FULLY including specifically his relationship with the soul king (aka his dad apparently)? That also causes a need to explain the soul king more though and the history of...well everything I guess. how did the current system of three worlds come to be? How is the soul king so strong to manipulate reality? etc...
This would (hopefully) give us a cause to Yawatch's end goal and give greater detail on Ichigo's powers due to his mixed heritage AND explain Yawatch's powers more AND explain why he became so OP once he absorbed the Soul King.
Once that's done, we need to finish any other fights that were left open-ended (Urahara/Grimmjow/Nel/Youroich/Chad etc...). that could be done for some as an after battle flashback I suppose, but we really need to know what happened to those characters at least.
Additional, a slow down/breakdown of the final fight a bit would be nice. It makes sense that Aizen blocked/distorted Yawatch's future site to a point where it was unreliable and the Arrow stops his powers for a moment. But a brief moment to explain it would do a lot to lessen frustrations and give a clear reason as to how the heck a literal god got beaten.
Lastly, Ichigo...we need to know what happened with his sword/powers definitively. It's a pretty important detail IMO. What was his new Bankai? After beating Yawatch, what powers does he have any more? What was up with his sword in the final strike etc... If there is one thing I would change or make sure to have, it would be to make sure Ichigo DOES still have his Hollow and maybe even Quincy powers. Else the entire character arc he just went thru, seems like a pointless waste of time for the plot (aside from being a nice story on its own).
I really hope the Anime gives time to explain these things. If so, it could be a marvelous send-off to the franchise after waiting for so long. And given a lot of the details have been sorted out in the books that came out after the manga ended, I see no reason they couldn't give Kubo the time to fill in some blanks in the plot.
Some points you mentioned were answered in the light novel: Can't fear your own world but I do agree. I wish they put infos from the light novels into the TYBW arc instead.. unless they plan on serializing them.
