What do you think of my theories regarding the final fight of Bleach? How much is Ichigo involved? What's going on with Renji? Let me know your own thoughts and theories below - thanks everyone!
You talk too much, like a bad girlfriend
change the thumbnail! i read the manga already but for others who are anime only it's a spoiler
I like it but hear me out. Aizen was controlling yhwach or influencing him the entire time from The first visit.
Much like he did to the gotei 13 when he was a lieutenant and fooled them into thinking his zanpaukto was water
About the cracks in the swords: perhaps it was just a necessity for Aizen to keep the illusions consistent, while, as you said, giving Yhwach a sense that his powers weren't working. I feel it would be necessary to keep every sword fighter in the fight with their swords somewhat whole to allow for the real blade, which would be Ichigo's, to slice and dice without it seeming suspiscious and giving up the game too soon. To me that makes sense because if Aizen had showed the image of any sword breaking completely, then at any point when Yhwach clashed with a zanpakutou, it might end up giving away the entire illusion as, I believe, he would notice the interaction with a blade. I know Kyouka Suigetsu can fake every sensation, even touch, but we also know from way back when Yamamoto fought Aizen that skilled fighters can sense spritual pressure from their enemies to bypass the illusions, especially from super strong zanpakutou like Tensa Zangetsu and Kyouka Suigetsu. So, to add to your theory, I think these cracks, the detail of no swords being destroyed, were in fact an important part of Aizen's deception, not just a coincidence or a consequence of how Yhwach's powers interacted with illusions since, in the end, Aizen can always warp reality to show whatever he wants.
Aizen and Ichigo sharing a moment together reflecting on how they beat Yhwach before he resurrected himself was truly something special.
Aizen was going to tell Ichigo it’s time for a rematch
It shows that Aizen held no disdain afterwards. He still has a lot of respect for Ichigo, Urahara and Kyoraku as they're free spirits.
If they had more time he would have probably warned Ichigo to be aware of what happens after Yhwach's demise. The balance collapsed.
And After his resurrect aizen just lose offscreen. 🤣
As much as aizen can be viewed as straight evil, he does have a somewhat honourable side, and I imagine defeating someone like Yhwach is something even aizen would wanna brag and go crazy about :p
Nah, that's grimmjow's thing@@Maxjuliann
*“So you think you’re gazing at… Kurosaki Ichigo… fascinating…”*
The fact that Aizen styled on basically God at this point was phenomenal. And as the old saying goes, meeting Aizen was one of the biggest mistakes Yhwach made in his life.
Yhwach bullied him what do you mean lol. Ripped off his arm and impaled him, also broke the chair Aizen couldn't break
@@ExtraVictoryya imao
To think that Aizen pulled a multi-layered illusion on The Almighty with just a shikai is scary.
What’s also awesome about this fight is how it showcases Aizen’s strategic mind for battle.
Rather than fighting Yhwach head on and trying to stop him on his own as he says when he got freed from the chair, he actually made a plan to be in a support role during the fight and do two things:
1. Delay Yhwach until Ichigo arrived.
2. Create an opening for Ichigo to kill Yhwach or at the very least severely wound him.
Aizen must have realized that Ichigo was the only one who actually had the power necessary to kill Yhwach but knew that it would be impossible for Ichigo (or anyone else for that matter) to outright fight someone who could literally see and change the future.
However, being as smart as he is, Aizen realized that the seeing into the future still relied on sight, one of the 5 senses. So his hypothesis was formed to use Kyoka Suigetsu to mess with Yhwach’s sight and then banking on that Ichigo would notice Kyoka Suigetsu and quickly act on whatever opening for a killing blow. He even compliments Ichigo for it, the dude is a true chess player.
Don’t forget him testing his abilities when Yhwach met him in Muken the first time. He delayed Yhwach and distorted time which is why Yhwach had to leave the battle with Jugram earlier than he thought. Aizen delayed Yhwach without him knowing giving Aizen an inkling his KS would work on him.
@@alexmartin3143 Yeah you’re right! Just goes to show how Aizen is typically always multiple steps ahead of others.
OK but realistically jugram and yhwach himself are the actual maps of yhwachs defeat. All the delaying by aizen and uryu would have eventually go useless when yhwach changes the future once again, but the 2nd time ichigo sliced him was because jugram basically didn't tell the right vision to yhwach
@@VVooshbait There are multiple key players that lead towards Yhwach's defeat besides, of course, Yhwach's own arrogance.
1. When Mimihagi took over Reio's place, Yhwach was FORCED to absorb Reio. This is the single most important moment of the war, since Yhwach never saw Mimihagi and he lost his chance at destroying the world right at that moment, giving the allies more time to defeat Yhwach.
2. Ichigo was the only person in existence that could actually kill the soul king. This is true because, Yhwach left the blade inside of Reio for Ichigo to kill him, proving that Yuha couldn't do it. Therefore, only Ichigo was capable of ending the new soul king, Yhwach.
3. Tsukishima's book of the end was a direct counter to The All Mighty. Because it allows him to change the past, making Ichigo's blade not broken in the future. Without Zangetsu means Yhwach wins in every scenario.
4. The involvement of the Ishida's was another important moment, since they used Auswahlen on Yhwach himself via the arrow, preventing Yhwach from reviving himself. Uryu was also the only person who could've fired the arrow because of his Antithesis reverting Yhwach's sight of himself. Without the Ishida's, Yhwach wins every scenario with The All Mighty always active.
While it's clear that Yhwach himself caused his downfall, many other characters where absolutely vital in his defeat, specially Mimihagi.

"How long... were you under the illusion that I wasn't using Kyoka Suigetsu from the start?"- Aizen to Ywach.
Underrated comment
Even though it's not true, my headcanon has always been that Aizen would say that, and what he did say was a mistranslation.
"How long have you been under the illusion that you were fighting Ichigo?"
It wouldn't make sense lol. Thats a triumphant line, why would Kubo put that line in right before Yhwach rewrites his own death and bodied both Aizen and Ichigo lmao
Aizen essentially carrying this battle and his illusions leaving many twists and turns is perfect for his character. Thematically it also makes sense, even as a 'prisoner' he still has his goal of ruling the current order, not the one Yhwach intended to bring about. Still the fact that Yhwach was able to inflict such visible damage on Aizen speaks volumes of his power had the Almighty.
It also shows some subtle character development for Aizen, as he was willing to fight alongside Ichigo and even admitted that it was a good thing that he never placed him under KS’s spell. Still, Aizen being able to use his illusions to fight God, is a testament to how powerful he truly is.
@@jrgenvellesen7800 That it is. Kyoka Suigetsu was the ultimate ace up the sleeve to deal with someone of Yhwach's caliber. I also like how he commended Ichigo, though as mentioned people of his mentality can respect those who are of their strength or even if they do not conform to their ideas.
@@manuelacosta9463True. Aizen does seem to view Ichigo with some respect, as he thought of him while reflecting on the importance of courage.
Haschwald was extremely important too, unfortunately few people notice, I only found out later, Haschwald used Allmighty before and sent a vision to Yhwach in the final battle, that's why he says "Haschwald" before being cut.
I NEVER considered that the first part of the battle was happening so fast that Aizen barely had time to pull off his illusions. Its quite a miracle and show of talent that the one and only tell of his illusion ended up deluding Yhwach further into thinking he understood what was happening.
18:48 Man. That's insane detailing on Kubo's part. I wonder if the real Aizen was making that worried expression prior to confirming that Yhwach was still fooled
Aizen trolling Yhwach with his shikai will never get old.
That was the first time Yhwach was truly surprised during the entire arc.
Cant he see future tho?
@Esotericspirits but aizen controls what he sees, so even if he can see the future, it's only what aizen wants him to see
@azure3655 it's flawed though because he should be able to see that his visions will be obstructed by KS well before actually meeting Aizen face to face but I suppose Yhwach probably let it happen just to troll Aizen and Ichigo too.
@@kakashihatake1029except he didn’t have the almighty before he saw Aizen.
It doesn’t matter if he looks to the future after that. He’s looking at the future events that Aizen has placed an illusion in the time period.
@phstingray205 idk if KS is active all the time because if so then Aizen could have just made Yhwach absorb a pebble instead of the soul king or something. Doesn't make sense. Clearly Yhwach is not under its effect until he meets Aizen again. And if that's true then Yhwach would be able to see through KS by looking into the future where he gets tricked by it. So either Yhwach double trolled Aizen to give him and Ichigo some hope or he can't see through Aizens future because Aizen has the hogyoku which has an SK fragment I've heard.
I've always wondered how Aizen knew what Renji's true bankai looked like
He shouldn’t know what Ichigo looks like either.
i mean, does he manually conjure illusions or does he just command the idea and then one fills out the rest?
cuz that way aizen doesnt have to know what they look like at all, yhwach would and does know how they look so thats what he sees
@@The_Aleph_Null also a solid point! If the illusion is essentially filled in by the viewer of the illusion (in this case Ywach) then Ywach's ability to see all futures means he could know what those bankais look like even when Aizen doesn't. Aizen could just put the idea out there (you see Ichigos bankai) and Ywach fills in the detail. Almost like the dad from Stephen King's Firestarter
@@drewzamudio4408 Aizen's illusion in this case wasn't complete as well. Because Yuha was so strong. Normally he's able to control it fully and what everyone scenes. but in the fight he says to yuha "You think this is ichigo? Fascinating"
@@The_Aleph_Null maybe, the only problem I see is the he knows Renji bankai looks like a giant snake, but Ywach only knows the new one. Azien impersonating how he would move with his new bankai makes no sense because how would he know to impersonate something he has never seen
22:20 If Ichigo could feel kyoka suigetsu before arrival, he must have known that Renji would’ve been affected by the illusions negatively, since he, like all the shinigami, have been put under its spell. So it’s probable that renji did stay behind, to not be affected by the spell.
I was thinking something similar, with the caveat that instead of telling him to stay behind, he would just tell Renji to no matter what, only focus on Yhwach. He mot likely wouldnt have the time to go too in depth but just give a "hey I can tell Aizen is fighting Yhwach right now, regardless of what you see happening, just attack him, we can deal with Aizen when we win."
How that plays out in the battle is everything as this video highlighted, the "Aizen" that jumped in to save Renji, was Renji and he got sent flying after the attack. Hence why he isnt immediately around at the end of the battle.
Uryu definetly NEEDS to be in the fight with Ichigo and Aizen in the anime version! It's his birthright to fight and defeat Yhwach with them, since he took away his mother, and as a Quincy, not just to fire Still Silver
too bad that doesnt happen. and how is his birthright, he wasnt the only one that happened to
@@mastixencounter Same can be said about Ichigo, then, who only recently found out about that part of his past and never lived as a Quincy like Uryu did... Not to even mention his dad, Ryuken, is literally working on his wife's corpse out of revenge to take down Yhwach, which makes sense, since he will be taken down thanks to a person that Yhwach views as a peasant that is there to make him stronger as a sacrifice (Katagiri). Also, it's obvious that Uryu will fight him, considering he got close to him, is a Gemischt Quincy that Yhwach first used in Auswahlen (including his dead mother) and that his power was stated multiple times to be the counter to the Almighty that Yhwach fears, which allowed Uryu to be the only person that survived that Auswahlen
So yeah, really don't see why you're so against Uryu also fighting Yhwach, but I guarantee that will happen in the anime. If not, well fuck me, then...
Hold on. Isn't Aizen talking about him never using kyouka suigetsu's release on Ichigo in general? I've always read that line as "man if I used this on you back at the beginning of the series we'd be fucked"
Yeah I don't really get why that is. Can't Aizen control who sees what? Why would Ichigo being under hypnosis matter?
@@kitkat6959from what I understood about the Can't Fear Your Own World "breakdowns", Tokinada Tsunayashiro admitted that Kyouka Suigetsu is very complicated needing a lot of Reiatsu and basically brainpower... I suppose it's easier for Aizen to make everyone see the same illusions than making multiple people see different things simultaneously. So Ichigo no being under Kyouka Suigetsu made it easier for Aizen to concentrate his illusions on Ywach
@@zabdiel1314Makes sense. It’s also the fact that Ichigo would see the exact thing Ywach was seeing via Aizen’s Kyouka Suigetsu Release.. So Ichigo wouldn’t have been able to see the Opening to take down Ywach via Aizen’s Plan because he would be seeing the exact same Illusion Ywach was seeing..
Aka that Ichigo himself is pierced by Ywach even though he’s still standing away from their battle
"Not showing you Kyoka Suigetsu to you was also part of my plan"
In a way it makes me feel like Aizen knew about potential situations like this in the future since he does do alot of research. I mean Mayuri knew about Ywhach so Im assuming Aizen did as well but then again I could be reachin.
A video about all the hollow masks in the series would be great. Maybe a ranking with your 10 favorites.
😨🤯
I’ve read the final fight two times, but never with that perspective. I’m blown away, thank you for dissecting
Looking forward to see how the anime will turn out
Tbh I think the Still Silver arrow was perferct for both thematic and narritive reasons.
Thematically Its ironic that one of his victims of the Aushwahlen that Yhwach has probably performed many times in the past comes backs to haunt him as if he's finally facing judgment for all the people that he cruelly everisated in the past with no remose.
And narratively He absolutely could not be defeated when he has the near limtless power of the Soul King and his broken Schrift "The Almighty", if the heroes did managed to defeat him through a straight fight it just wouldn't be believable
If he hadn’t cast the aushwahlen he would be unbeatable lol as only the silver arrow formed by that spell
Still an infuriating dues ex machina
What is shrift?
@@bqw2094 nah it made perfect sense.
@@bqw2094the anime is doing more setup for it, at least
About your question on Renji’s presence, i think he doesnt get to the battlefield at all as Ichigo said he felt Kyoka Suigetsu’s release prior to his arrival so it’s entirely possible he warned Renji to stay back as he would be unable to fight.
Your interpretation of the battle is satisfying and makes a lot of sense!!
Very Nice catch!
That explanation does make sense, but damn, that would be some lame lmao.
Renji: „I‘m gonna stick with you to the very end! No ifs, ands or buts about it!“
Ichigo: „… Thank you.“
**walks five steps**
Ichigo: „Oh hey, Aizen is using Kyoka Suigetsu. You should probably stay out of this.“
Renji: „Alright“ **f-ing leaves**
Love that youre still popping out these videos cant wait for the next cour
Now this fight is one of my favorites even tho is short but even so it’s on a whole different scale of power THIS IS END GAME
The parallel between Aizen and Ichigo and Yamamoto and Sasakibe backstabbing Yhwach I love it. ❤
I think I've figured out what's happening with the sword cracks.
If you check at 24:29, you see the close-up of Ichigo's cracked Zangetsu when Yhwach tried to break it initially.
Then compare to 24:34, you can see the close-up of Aizen's cracked Kyoka Suigetsu. Take notice of the appearance of Aizen's cracked sword. It is half black and half white with the same crack pattern as Zangetsu. But here's the important part. That's not what Kyoka Suigetsu looks like. In every appearance of Kyoka Suigetsu in the entire series, it is a 100% silver standard katana. It is also a straight blade, whereas this sword is clearly curved. The appearance remains the same in every instance that we see Aizen's sword going as far back as the 1st arc - no matter which evolution/form he has reached. So what we are actually seeing at 24:34 is Zangetsu. If you look at the cracked Zangetsu at 24:29, and divide it down the center vertically, the sword matches perfectly with Aizen's cracked sword right down to the exact same crack pattern. It also explains why the blade is half black/white instead of the silver. It's an Easter egg kind of like the pieces of Renji's bankai that appear with Ichigo, except this one is much more subtle and hard to notice at first. I think Kubo is insinuating that Yhwach is starting to see through the illusion created by Kyoka Suigetsu or perhaps the illusion is not 100% effective on him.
As for the question regarding why Aizen would take the place of Renji or Ichigo and take all that damage when he can just use KS to keep his distance completely, the answer was given during the 1st invasion of the soul society. After Yhwach miscalculates how much time he has left and runs out of time before he can finish off Ichigo, I believe Kubo is saying that Yhwach is susceptible to the Kyoka Suigetsu BUT only to a minor degree. Aizen changed Yhwach's perception of time by just a little bit. I think Aizen was testing how effective his KS is against Yhwach. Aizen realizes that he can't completely trick Yhwach without limits because Yhwach is too powerful and has the Almighty and all-seeing eyes, but he can use very slight changes that he may not notice. That's why he had to actually lose his left arm and tank the chest shot to keep the illusion up.
Thanks 😂 the break down helped. I never re read it after the first time just because I was upset that it was rushed. Nice to finally understand general idea of what's going on.
The way you explained this fight is making me appreciate it more than I used to. Can't wait to see the animated version of it.
This final fight really needs to be improved in a big way in the upcoming half of the anime. Like show what ichigo’s true bankai look like at least with just the soul reaper power and maybe have more Allies join in the fight.
Also give Ywach a more believable and satisfying defeat. Basically this final fight needs to be greatly extended
There's more story to tell, I'm sure he will finish Hell Arc which will give up plenty of opportunities to see a more developed ichigo
Honestly I don't think adding more characters is good. Maybe only adding rukia would be nice. But others would make the fight kinda tacky
I'm so glad Renji gets to take part in the final battle. Renji has been one of my top 3 (with Rukia and Kenpachi) since his introduction, but the poor guy seems to always be a punching bag. Hopefully he gets more screentime in the anime.
I still think what is happening is, Aizen does not have an Asauchi anymore but Kyoka Suigetsu is his power, what the hogyoku did is it removed the Asauchi limitation from Aizen. And because Aisen does not need an Asauchi anymore he ca manifest kyoka anytime he wants.
Great breakdown and to me your idea makes perfect sense.
Thinking back to the Fake Karakura arc, and how Aizen switched places with Momo, I'm wondering if maybe Complete Hypnosis can trick people into thinking they're Aizen.
The problem with it is that you can never trust anything that happens while Aizen's in play
The final battle of the TYBW being between the Devil/Lucifer (Aizen) and the Anti-Christ (Ichigo) vs. the Son of God (Yhwach) is a really cool thematic note to go out on.
While it was a bit rushed, I do really like Aizen's role in the fight and him and Ichigo working together was great. And of course this fight gave us two of Aizen's best quotes!
Oh yeah I forgot about the whole Ichigo and Rukia thing, thematically it would've worked I felt. When was the last time they fought together ,against Grimmjow?
Although thinking about it given the nature of her bankai it would've been an issue to explain why she wouldn't be shattered in this fight, also I think Aizen conjuring Renji was a matter of his clash with them way back in Soul Society
just goes to show how OP the Almighty is when even aizen is struggling to keep up with kyoka suigetsu illusions 😮
Ichigo could have told renji to stay behind the moment he senses aizen using kyoka suigetsu, since renji is affected by it too.
And the crack on Ichigo and aizen's zanpakuto could mean that kyokasuigetsu is indeed damaged, and that's the reason at the end the illusion of Ichigo is not complete and fused with renji, because the damage dealed to kyokasuigetsu
this fight especially with the new cour 3 nes could be one of the best animated fight oat that combined with all the extra content that will be added bleach fans will be in for a treat i hope kubo delivers on a finale that is atleast as long as the shunsui vs lille barro ALSO PLEASE MAKE THIS FIGHT PART OF A 1 HOUR SECIAL SINGLE EPISODE 🙏
I've always thought Rukia should have helped in the fight instead of Renji. Narratively it makes more sense to start and end the series with the duo that are the catalyst of the story.
Let’s be honest. Everybody should have been helping during that final battle especially the 5 war potentials and Uryu. They were essentially facing God at this point.
@@gammafrostthe issue is, most of the war potentials were either incapacitated or nearly dead following their battles. they wouldn't be of much help unless they recovered
Never think again renji makes more sense than rukia
This fight MUST be extended in the anime, and i love the idea of Rukia being there too
Rukia really should have been there with him instead of Renji, imo she's always felt like his best friend and I always loved their friendship, so having them fighting together in the end would be perfect
@@Mooinator3000 Yhwach bodying Rukia would hurt the fans more than it being Renji. I don't know if my heart could take that
@@kakashihatake1029 Yeah Renji's built to be a punching bag. Though I feel like Rukia's power would be more effective than Renji's. Still a total waste against the Almight, but still better.
@SinHurr yeah well whoever it ends up being is just gonna get a nice bodying session from Yhwach along with Ichigo and Aizen 😅
I would love to see Ichibei involved in this fight along with Ichigo, Aizen and Uryu tbh. Would make a lot of sense and it'd be nice to see Ichibei do something after being revived
@kakashihatake1029 ichibe being involved in some way would definitely be neat. I always found it weird that he didn't show up again after being revived
The anime---if done right---should provide us with the chance to see what the manga didn't: a demonstration of Ichigo's true bankai. It's made clear that it's something that Yhwach himself feared, but we didn't even get to see what it does. Literally all the anime would need to do is to show it in a "flash forward" in one of the timelines that Yhwach changes with the Almighty.
Wow thank you for clearing that. Its indeed tricky
I love this explanation! I think it’s extremely thorough and helpful. The only question that is plaguing. My mind is how Aizen knew about Renji’s new bankai? Did he perceive the change based on spiritual pressure during the fights with the Quincy? Or is his power specifically driven to provoke certain senses in his opponents, rather than manipulates specific sensory experiences himself?
Really hope that the anime goes a little further into Chair-samas backstory. I feel like theres so much good character to dive into and we sadly never get to see it
Man, this is some King Crimson, D4C level head-scratchery. I love it 😂
bro, rip chair sama
they were before their time.
The swords not breaking could be due to it being Aizen’s Shikai, and not his Bankai
Aizen merged with his blade.
I just realised after all this is that Aizan has us all under his illusion and that’s why none of us are able to truly make sense of it all. It’s all part of Aizans plan.
Personally i just assumed it was Aizen playing mind games with Ywach. He may have been trying to make him question his own power, So he made the illusions zanpakuto stay intact
5:08 "Rejoice, Kurosaki Ichigo, for you will allow me to test my powers that transcend both shinigami and hollow." - Aizen, in his moth form.
Aizen did not intentionally build Ichigo up to be defeated - he built him up to give him that final challenge/satisfaction.
Love your videos and love this one it’s awesome! Keep up putting out great content ❤. I wanted to see if you ever did a Yoruichi tybw fight. I am curious what will her fight be, was it short and do we finally see her zanpakuto?
It’s weird to think about knowing that the goryu tenmetsu that we saw was likely an illusion
i have nothing to support this, but id like to think aizen never turned off his power and instead of keeping himself concealed he concealed the arrow that given to ishiada, would make sense as to why he was unable to see it coming and it was already established that despite being down in soul society he could still determine what was happening up in the palace.
the only way I could think of Renji not being there is Kubo decided the final battle was just Ichigo and Aizan
I think the fight went like this.
Aizen used Kyoka suigetsu on Yhwach.
Everything we saw was done by Aizen (including renji and Ichigo) , Ichigo arrivers and kills Yhwach, Yhwach revives and thinks Kyoka suigetsu is broken but it wasn't (because of it was the case then he could've protected himself from uryu silver arrow but he didn't knew).
Through this battle renji couldn't arrive, because he gave Ichigo a emotional boost but might've said his to not wait for him as soul society is in grave danger and every second just increses the risk so he was on his way and couldn't reach untill the fight was over.
Also from the line, “ So you see me as Kurosagi Ichigo, fascinating” was just a mocking towards Yhwach as the man who can see all futures couldn't see the real person.
Everyone’s talking about Aizen I just want Isshin & Ryuken to at least be there and commentate and give Spirit Energy to both Ichigo & Uryu because Ywach took away their Wives & Loves
My interpretation is that Aizen’s shikai actually isn’t that strong, Gin says as much. Aizen just uses it in very short bursts in critical moments and then lies and exagerates saying it’s much grander than it actually is. The actual shikai has to make something else fit into the illusion, he can’t just conjour something out of nothing, so Aizen had to play the part of all 3 characters and just run around really fast as for most of the battle we only see 1 character at a time. He also can manifest his blade if he wants to hense the damage being the same on both and likely manifested it for the illusion to be more real. If Ywhach clashed with Ichigo’s sword and it didn’t feel very strong then he’d know something is up
Rukia and Byakuya should have also been in the final fight because the series started with them too.
When Byakuya and Renji retrieve Rukia is where Bleach really started.
This fight HAS to be expanded in the anime, my dream as a fan would be to see Aizen's Bankai in this fight but maybe that's too much dreaming, but I at least hope for something more than what we got cuz this truly has the potential to be the greatest fight of Bleach
Hard agree, though I have a hunch that:
1) Kubo has no idea what Aizen's bankai is
2) Saving it for the Hell Arc finale, if it ends up existing.
@@SinHurr I'm sure Kubo has had a thought into what his bankai is, and I don't like to believe that he's "saving it" for the Hell "arc". The TYBW woulda been the perfect arc to showcase his bankai. It's where majority of the Captain's bankai were revealed including Ichigo's True Bankai although we don't know what it can really do. And why shouldn't it be revealed? I mean he's fighting against the most powerful being right in front of him who's about to destroy the balance of the Bleach cosmology that'll set everything back to where it was, ending all current life & beginning a new one that'll never know death. Yk what I mean?
Aizen is more like a supporter in this battle. I think Aizen knew about Ryuken's stillsilver and that's why he was just stalling yhwach for Ryuken to get to Ishida. IT would also explain why yhwach wasn't able to see Ryuken'plan, because he was in Aizen's KS@@prynce.
I'm thinking Aizen probably unleashed his full hypnotic powers - possibly even his unrevealed bankai ability - the moment the chair was destroyed. We all know he's fused with his sword at this point..shikai and bankai, similar to how Dangai Ichigo functioned.
Mr Tommoe can you do some versus battles. And would you collab with other youtubers? 👍
Aizen fused with his sword due to the hogyoku? So I'm guessing that's how they didn't break. Then the whole fight is Aizen himself being a bad ass. The fact Aizens complete hypnosis works the way it does where he makes ywatch think their spiritual pressure is there. It's amazing, and most of Aizens power is sealed. It's like Ichigos Hyori and him being healed by Unahana.
Aizen took tha Urahara gameplan and implemented it perfectly
It really would be lit to see Aizen's Bankai in the anime, and Ichigo's Bankai much more in depth. And entire season dedicated to the end battle 😂
Your videos butter My biscuits thank you
theory sounds good and i can easily agree. i hope the anime will help clear up what kubo was intending with these manga panels.
What I'm feeling is that this final battle is going to be the most impactful place for narrative improvement compared to the manga.
You have to remember, Kyoka Suigetsu isn't able to make illusions out of thin air it has to take something that's already there and change your perception of it.
With that being said the only way I can think Aizen is able to Make multiple characters at once is the same way Kyoraku tricked Lille by hardening his Reiatsu
True, but maybe Aiden’s bankai can
Is not long til S3, it will be so fkn sick..
I liked that Kubo gave The Almighty a few weaknesses, like Aizen's Shikai, Mimihagi, Tsukishima's Book of the End, it made it feel a little less toltally broken.
I have always wondered how Aizen knew what Renji's new bankai looked like.
Aizen did imply that he wasn’t certain what Yhwach was seeing when he said “Interesting… so I appear to you as Kurosaki Ichigo”. That does beg the question as to how exactly Kyoka Suigetsu’s illusions work.
I really hope they are able to extend this fight!! Let Kubo cook!!
The instance where Aizen and Ichigo both have a similarly cracked blade might be a clue as to the true nature of what's going on. That it's all a fake illusion created by Aizen
I’ve always joked that Kubo forgot about Renji during this fight and that he was never truly involved in the conflict. Honestly I wonder what Kubo’s yes or no response would be in regard to Renji’s presence in the fight.
Honestly, he probably forgot like you said 😂.
I always thought Renji was never there.
Ichigo and Aizen teaming up is all I want for a final fight.
Jesus this was a lot to think about
Ichigo could have told Renji that Aizen below is battling Yhwach and has activated KS, therefore being dangerous for Renji to join the fight.
It might be that, sensing Aizen using Kyokasuigetsu, Ichigo had Renji stay back so he wouldn't get caught up in the illusion with Ywach and possibly muck up the whole thing.
My understanding of it is that Aizen is basically running on battery saving mode. He doesn't know how long this fight will be and is basically conserving reiatsu as much as possible. We know kyoka suigetsu drain reiatsu fast, probably even faster for Yhwach.
If you look at it this way it kinda fills on all of the holes.
Aizen creates the fake Ichigo who gets launch away and then he switches it to just a reiatsu signature. While this happens he disguises himself as Renji and gets his arm cut off.
While Aizen recovers(and possibly stops the hogyoku from activating) he makes a fake version of him to fight.
Finally he attacks as Ichigo and and gets the hole put in him and releases kyoka.
Imagine the slightly broken swords as textures, he's basically just slapping a broken sign on them so he can keep his processing to a minimum while still keeping Yhwach out of the loop.
The reason he can break Renji's bankai's arm is because it's just duplicating the actions of his arm for simplicity.
Finally the reason Renji didn't show up with them is pretty easy, Aizen would have to hide Renji and Ichigo's presence from people under kyoka suigetsu.
This meaning to Renji, Ichigo just kinda disappeared and his and Ichigo's reiatsu appeared on the battlefield. He probably just kept going at his current speed while Ichigo started hauling ass to the fight so he could take advantage of the illusions.
R.I.P. Chair Sama
I really enjoyed this break down and I myself have been pondering over this fight for years from the source material.
After all of my research, I can only arrive at one conclusion: the REAL Aizen was never in this battle, physically. It’s ALL an illusion.
I remember reading years ago that ever since Aizen fused with the Hyogoku he also gained the ability to effectively “communicate” via his reatsu. This is also why I believe he was able to so easily manipulate Ywach when they first met and Aizen specifically stated that “I have many ways of finding out your name”.
Aizen has been leaking his reatsu for quite a while now actually.
It’s also important to note just how strong the real -locked- to -chair sama Aizen actually is in TYBW arc. All of us Bleachers remember Ichigo and his Mugetsu form with the incredible jump in power........well, that’s essentially what Aizen is at this point. To be honest, it’s almost impossible to calculate just how strong he is right now.
To put this into perspective: regular mortal non fused Aizen was virtually unstoppable and only old man Yama could actually challenge him. Even back then, he was leagues beyond any shinigami in every fighting style, kido and especially spiritual pressure. Not to mention, Aizen has never (as in ever, ever) used his Bankai.
This is all BEFORE the fusion.
I also believe that’s why old man Yama had that look of terror when Ywach mentioned that he met with him because Yama knew exactly “what” Aizen has now become.
Aizen IS the embodiment of what Ichigo had temporarily gained with the mugetsu form AND he’s now fused with both the hyogoku and KS.
Like I said, it’s literally impossible to calculate how strong Aizen is.
My theory is that, he never left Muken but was allowed to use 100% or close to 100% of his power in the final battle.
How? Because at the end, we see Aizen back in Muken and I doubt a “free” Aizen would just willingly go back.
So I believe this entire battle was an illusion communicated through his reatsu in Muken. He set the entire stage from chair sama being blown up to an illusion of himself, renji, and Ichigo and he did it all from within Muken using 100% of his power.
It’s also important to note that the “real” Aizen didn’t need to “physically” be in the final battle because he had already put Ywach under KS during their initial meeting so the stage was actually set back then.
Also, in terms of power scaling…Aizen (while strapped to chair sama) confidentially stated that he could “shoot the royal palace down” with JUST his reastu alone and the Royal Palace is approximately NINE MILES away from Soul Society. By comparison, it took TYBW Ichigo a day and half to travel from the RP to SS. Thats actually insane when you really think about it lol.
Finally, in terms of abilities. The Almighty will never ever be able to counter Aizen and KS. Sure, Ywach can control the future BUT the future is predicated on the present moment and Aizen controls EVERYTHING in the present moment so it effectively nullifies The Almighty.
We've seen the "being impaled" trick before when Hitsugaya stabbed Aizen through the back and with Ywach, he just amplified it to the next level. Not only does "complete hypnosis" effect sight, it effects all FIVE senses so Aizen can literally make you "think" you actually stabbed him and then create a replica of himself to go along with the illusion. KS is indeed virtually flawless! ONLY two people have seen through it and/or break it: Old Man Yama when he let Aizen stab him intentionally to "feel" his reatsu and Unohana due to her experience with....well, dead bodies and killing lol.
I’ll say it again. Aizen was NEVER actually there in the final battle. He was pulling the strings from Muken and knowing that makes him even more terrifying.
Aizen truly is the perfectly written character.
A few last points: in the final battle with Ichigo, Aizen was not "defeated" by Ichigo. He took Mugetsu TO THE FACE, was effectively split in half and THEN was on the cusp of regenerating until he was sealed by Urahara. We should be very clear in noting that Ichigo did not "beat" Aizen. Also, I think everyone can agree that Mugetsu Ichigo is WAY stronger than TYBW Ichigo.
Yes bruh exactly! that's what I think too I saw many people's opinion but yours match mine indeed, I mean aizen was not there to begin with,he was just creating an opening for ichigo to end all at once, aizen was playing with him the entire time all alone with his illusions and ks?.he was actually in muken that's what I think and it makes sense.
Aizen literally written very well...for a character like you said it's a fax!.
I Have A Theory That Aizen Was Using Bankai During This Fight. To Go Off The Video’s Logic, Renji’s & Ichigo’s Wounds In KS Are A Reflection Of What Is Happening To Aizen. As “Renji” Activated His Bankai Juha “Stopped” Him & Cut Off His Arm. Juha Saw Through The Almighty That Aizen Would Use KS To Try To Confuse Him. He Was Probably Right & Probably Didn’t See The Switch To Bankai. My Theory On Aizen’s Bankai Is That It’s The Opposite Of His Shikai. His Shikai Allows His Literal Zanpaktou To Create The Illusions, But In Bankai He Becomes The Illusion & He Reflects The Intent Of His Opponent. Which Is Why Aizen Didn’t Know Who Juha Thought He Was Fighting
Hoping the anime will go nuts with liberties and just change it up so long as it means we get extended stuff and extra scenes or new scenes with these three characters towards the end. Damned if I don't want Aizen in the anime to surprise everyone with a different angle than the manga or more beyond how it ended on him.
thanks for the vid
I like how yhwach calls Renji with his Name, like, he's never seen him personally but calls him with his name
He’s omniscient…
@alexmartin3143 i know🗿 in japan and even in bleach everybody calls each other by surname, but he called by his name
I understood everything, but my brain is trembling nonetheless
any sort of tsuki screentime we can get i'll take
Aizen controlling the entire fight on his own shows how godly he is
The fact that everyone involved in this fight has the strength to shake the 3 world's are all fighting full out and people never acknowledge that a certain captain is using the soul kings arm to basically be a makeshift soul king and is holding existence together while they fight 😅
Silly Tommo, UA-cam doesn't have ads
Still don’t know why Aizen would wanna help the Seretei. That said, it was still pretty dope none the less.
His iconic line “Welcome to my Soul Society” says it all. Aizen wanted to conquer the world and Yhwach wanted to destroy it. Can’t rule the world if there’s no world left so Aizen chose to fight with the Soul Reapers for his own benefit.
Hopefully the last battle gets tured into a 2 part special each like a 1hr long
I always theorized that when Yhwach absorbed Ichigo's powers that he accidentally weakened himself because Kubo makes it a point to also show that he absorbed White as well, but it's never brought up after that.
Also... wth? If he absorbed White, who's supposed to be Ichigo's actual Shinigami powers, what is Ichigo wielding when he shows up for the final battle??? 😵💫😵💫😵💫
I like to think the remnant of Renji’s bankai on “fake Ichigo” was intentional on the part of Aizen.
He wants to fool Yhwach into thinking he can see through Kyoka Suigetsu; he’s leading Yhwach to that conclusion so that he can make sure he doesn’t catch on before Ichigo can get his critical attack in. Seeing Renji’s bankai falling off of Ichigo makes Yhwach disregard Kyoka Suigetsu.
Here's a question, how did Aizen know what Renjis new bankai looked like?
Mr tommo I have a genuine question for you...Perhaps another video idea...
How do you know that every person who is under the hypnosis of Kyiokasuigestu sees the same illusions? Yes, maybe in the fight ( Gotei 13 vs aizen) it has been shown that they see the same thing but it is cannon that they would only see the same thing? Or aizen can show them different type of illusions at the same time....
I hope the anime make this battle longer (more Aizen content 😊pls)
Perhaps the cracks on fake Zangetsu/Suigetsu reflect the power of the almighty against the real Suigetsu, somehow depicting pressure on the shikai's power
Ichigo could've told Renji to stay back after sensing Aizen's power being used
This is so confusing 😂 still love the vids ❤
I wish they expand the fight in the anime, when Aizen says "Yokoso, Watashi no Soul Society"
We see all the Captains and even some Espada joining the battle (actually all illusions). Bach will comment a few times about how of them regained their stamina so fast from battles that should have worn them out severely or that this or that person should still be stuck at this or that location, as if indicating Bach knows something is weird with the scenario but it won't matter as the hypnosis is complete.
Poor Renji catching strays
I remember back when the chapter first came out and fans predicted that renji was gonna die , their reason for this was that he looked so out of place in the final battle , which is true , but I'm very sure the reason that renji was the only one who tagged along was cause of the rushing to end the series , if it was not rushed , we most likley would have had a actual group behind ichigo that renji was a part of , like isshin and ryuken , maybe even ginjo and tsukishima as well. It makes no sense from a stoytelling perspective for ichigo ( whos beaten and depowered ) to rush back into battle with a powerful foe and not come up with some sort of plan .
There is no fu cing way you are still alive and still talking stu pidity
The big issue with the idea that renji and ichigo were just illusions the whole time is that Aizen had absolutely no way of knowing about Renji’s new bankai, or honestly probably even ichigo’s for that matter. So how could he make his illusions appear to have a bankai he didn’t know existed
Also aizen for some reason doesn’t seem to be aware that Yhwach sees him as Ichigo and I have no clue why, he knows he sees him as somebody else but seemingly doesn’t know that it’s Ichigo and is surprised by it
