    Hello everyone. I recommend everyone do home sharing. If you have a house and you can rent out the bedrooms with their own bathrooms it helps. You won't find insurance though unless you rent the rooms for 30 days or less. Thats called home sharing insurance for SHORT TERM leasing. If you own your home and live in your primary residence, then you have homeowners insurance or an HO-3 policy and you should read the policy to see if you will get canceled. You will if you tell your insurance carrier. Period end of story. I know it's BS but your residence has to be a rental with a DP-3 or rental dwelling insurance. If you have a liability like a guest of your room mates visit and get hurt your insurance carrier will drop you and not pay the claim. There is no insurance that I've found as of yet that will insure me if I rent the rooms out and tell the carrier. You have to convert your home owners insurance to a rental dwelling and then you must move out and show proof of a residence where you recieve your mail and live. Figure that one out in your head but be aware of the risk. Now go out and make thousands of dollars because it works. Use the money to pay off debts and improve the property.
