Succinctly well-said. Back in the 90s with no internet, took me forever to track down all the songs from various artists/albums. Finally when the official soundtrack CD released, it was still missing some.

if you didn't know, Michael Mann directed also the first seasons of Miami Vice, the first episode the pilot being my favourite one. it's like a whole movie of itself being one hour and 30 minutes but it has the Michael Mann fingerprints all over it, on the music shots, the surrealism of the whole scenery, it almost transports you in the character's skin.

I always thought that "Heat" was the masterpiece of Michael Mann, but last year I watched " Public Ennemies" for the second time (I had never seen it since its release in theaters), and woooow, now, I'm wondering if this film is not superior by some aspects... I mean, maybe not as HUGE (how could it beat the casting, cinematography of "Heat" :) but at times even more moving and fascinating... Anyway, LOVE Michael Mann since my teenage years, his vision is UNIQUE :)

This music and scene screams passion. I am of the beliefe that two people can have a wonderful and unforgetable night of passion without the need to "Need" to become romantically involved. Enjoy whatever one night in your life might give you and don't try to spoil it too much by thoughts of tommorow.

You're a sick man, you're the reason why our society is crumbling. Stop living in a fantasy and look at real world. Start making families, having many children, men being masculine and doing their traditional role, stop drinking pills and sleeping with them. This is our society now. Thanks a fucking bunch you sick pile of shit.

Funny, as I am not the one judging others in what they do or insulting them or blaming all the worlds problems on anyone. You on the other hand seem to be holding on to some anger and I think your own words prove which out of the two of us has issues. You could have disagreed and that would have been alright. But, yeah, you just couldn't help yourself.

I could effortlessly immerse myself in this film repeatedly throughout a day and still yearn for more. It's truly a once-in-a-lifetime cinematic masterpiece. The soundtrack is profoundly divine and serves as a significant source of inspiration. It complements the emotional depth of each scene with such precision that it may as well be predestined. Perfection personified.
