What's the most painful medical thing you've ever experienced? 💀
Gastroenteritis
Fracture of the 2 legs
Recovery from spinal fusion surgery for scoliosis
Getting the tip of the sharp table stabbed into my cheek and getting stitches when I was a baby
Abscessed tooth
I am brazillian, but i cant imagine being stung by so many Bullet Ants, i think my soul would fade away but my body stay there
So painful!
@@DoctorER What about execiutioner wasp sting from brave wilderness ?
We had a manager who used to suffer from the suicide headaches. It got so bad and so frequent that she couldn't do her job. I can't imagine having to go through that over and over again.
I'd love to see a collaboration with Brave Wilderness at some point. Those guys are awesome.
agreed!
Or react to Coyote's injuries, including when he was stung by a bunch of bees on the face.
@@SuperAnime4444 They could do that in the collab, and discuss the medical side together.
When I was kid about 7yrs old, I love climbing. One day I climb over a metal gate but I didn't know behind that metal gate, there's a beehive. After the buzzing start, I drop from top of the gate and ran. Ran as fast as I could back to home. My back is stung by dozen of bees, swelling and inflame, red. Most painful, unforgettable experience. Took almost a month to heal.
I had a badly abscessed tooth back in 2009. Nonstop agony for 48 hours, couldn't sleep because of the pain. I could only eat yogurt, applesauce, Spaghettio's, mac&cheese, etc. because it hurt too much to chew anything. Tylenol and ibuprofen didn't help. Took so many painkillers I was puking with horrible stomach cramps on top of the worst pain of my life and being very sleep-deprived.
Take care of your teeth, kids. Seriously.
Omg, I can't tell you how much tooth pain I've been through. Super relatable
@Phantomgal316 My problem back then was that the dentist was my absolute worst fear (I didn't have a very compassionate one when I was a kid and so related dental visits as miserable experiences where the doc was intent on torturing me despite telling him what he was doing hurt.) That abscess was so bad it scared me INTO going to the dentist. I found a gentle one who helped me conquer my fear and have kept up on my teeth ever since.
I’ve had 2 abcess teeth one at 9 and one at 12 or something like that and i had shingles in my groin area at like 7 abcess tooth is so painful i had like 7 injections and it still hurt
Yooo the legend of youtube is back!
Thanks for supporting! 👍😎
Brave Wilderness crossover would be AMAZING!
Thank you for talking about Cluster Headaches. I suffer from Trigeminal Neuralgia, which causes daily electrical pain in my right jaw line, with flares resulting in clusters that are debilitating. The best explanation I have would be a random onset of brain freeze that won’t go away - likely related to the SPG ganglion. Would love to see you team up with The Facial Pain Association to talk about the different types of facial pain, including cluster headaches, trigeminal neuralgia and more. Im happy to share my experience if you would like.
Much love.
I would absolutely love to see a colab between you and Brave Wilderness! That would be epic and very informative all in one.
Hello Doc! I enjoy looking forward to you posting new videos! I just wanted to share with you some of the most painful injuries I've experienced some of which you have on your list.1: I have had cluster headaches and what you've descend them to be like is spot On! 2:breaking my nose and fracturing the orbital bone around my left eye, which was caused by catching a baseball with my face. 3:breaking my coccyx from falling from the top of the basement stairs. 4: most recently, just 3 weeks ago actually, breaking two ribs on my left side from slipping and falling while crossing a busy intersection. These are just a few. I've had many others that were just as or more painful than these ones over the years. Keep up the good work and keep your informative and entertaining videos coming!
I feel bad for the guy from St. Louis who was awake during surgery (no idea how it compares pain-wise to these)
That's definitely one of the top medical fears.
I suffer from both cluster and migraine headaches, cluster headaches landed me in the hospital begging to be sedated or anything to knock me out, I don’t wish them on my worst enemies 😓
dang you learn something everyday and today is today that i learned something
Hello, Doctor!
My mom had shingles (Darth Vader had 5th degree burns)
I’ve had shingles a couple times. Annoyingly itchy and painful. I’ve had appendicitis/perforated appendix. That was really painful. I’ve had second/third degree burns on my hand. Really painful. Add onto that acute gout attacks. Terribly painful. Also add, recently, (might as well be) sciatic nerve damage. Had to go to the emergency room and get three doses of painkillers and muscle relaxers to be able to sit up and move. Still dealing with the pain.
The worst pain I've ever felt in my life was chronic pancreatitis. I've been through gall stones to where I was so full of them that it was about to burst, 1st and 2nd degree burns, child birth (natural bc the epidural wore off) and cluster headaches. Pancreatitis was the most excruciating pain that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.
4:48 YES! Absolutely do that collab if possible! Would be highly educational.
Stay tuned! 👀
@@DoctorER Let's gooooo!
I have daily migraines and seizures during cluster headaches when I have them. (2-3 times a week) Pain is so constant, it’s nigh impossible for me to function
So I wouldn’t wish it on anyone!
I suffer from cluster headaches and yes they can become extremely painful.
Stones in my gallbladder back in 2008 was the worst pain I had ever experienced in my life! The worst part is it came on pretty instantaneously. One minute I was fine and the next I was doubled over in pain and sweating!
Please do a Brave Wilderness collab!! That’d be VERY interesting and awesome to see!
Coming soon!
4:54 Yooo, I had this .... when I was 7
I like your videos. Can you do Final Destination injuries?
Thank you! What scenes from Final Destination should I react to?
@@DoctorER Anything from 1 and 2.
At the end of 2021, I fell ill with encephalopathy of secondary origin, I did not experience any particular pain, but my legs atrophied, at some point neurological pain began to appear with an intensity of 8-9 points on the VAS scale, I once suffered a fracture fifth metacarpal bone as a result of hitting the wall, the pain from the fracture was as if I was simply touched by a hand in comparison with the pain that was in the legs, without a clear source, just pain in the hips because of which at one moment I wanted to simply amputate the legs, It's good that doctors aren't stupid after all
I am a mess of medical issues. But I go into flares where I get terrible muscle spasms and intense nerve pain, that leaves me literally laying in bed screaming at the top of my lungs in pain. I just can’t do anything else. (Can’t cry cause I have Sjögren’s syndrome so I have no tears.) Been going through it the past week and I am worried my neighbours are going to call the police soon! I already take everything they can give me for muscles, nerves and pain.
I also have three kinds of arthritis, hypothyroidism, fibromyalgia, neck injury, chronic insomnia, POTS, MCAS, a TBI, had to get bilateral hip replacements due to avascular necrosis, and literally every day migraines according to a great new team of neurologists who have just joined my medical team. I think I need a new body.
Но если воспаление начнется в Меккелевом дивертикуле, то хирург будет вынужден играть в сапера)))
My mother suffered with shingles last year, she was very vocal about how much it hurt even with the pain meds, and took a while for it to go away too, had to have been over at least a couple months...
I had something similar to a cluster headache, only less painful
My buddy just came down with epiploic appendagitis. He was in the hospital on an IV nutrition drip and morphine, wasnt allowed to eat anything for 4 days until the inflammation went down. Hospital said it's the first case they have ever seen of it and had to consult with a doctor at Stanford about it.
have you reacted to brave wilderness?
Man, I gotta show respect to this dude, he literally knows *everything* about the medical world in general. 👍
Ironically, I just suffered from a burn 🔥 a couple of months ago lol. 😅
Ahora por ver este video, siento que alguna de estas 5 cosas me sucedera 😥😥
saludos doctor 👋
My man has cluster headaches. It gets out right scary when they hit him. I've had to bring him to the er several times for it as it seems he's about to die.
Myself, I survived appendicitis explosion with near septic shock, peritonitis, staph infections in the surgical wounds, drain tubes everywhere and a feeding tube, a few days in a coma, etc. That time, I spent a month in hospital. The first two weeks they didnt know if I was gonna make it or not. By week three they were able to start removing drain tubes from my abdomen and my lungs and nearing the fourth week I was able to come off the feeding tube. It created a sensation that I still just sit and feel for today. I had been very very ill the week before I was finally hospitalized and didnt eat due to the pain. So by the time I came off the feeding tube I hadnt had any foods in my mouth for about a month. I didnt remember how hunger felt. I was 12 by the way. I told my parents I was hungry and they nearly stumbled over themselves to get the nurses amd get me some food when I said "I wanna wait a little bit and just feel this feeling a little more. I forgot how it felt."
After that month I still wasnt healthy enough to go back to my normal life. I lost about 6 months straight of school. It ruined a lot for me. Well, the years came and went and I still didnt get back to my normal self. My weight was insanely low, my energy was low, my asthma had been worsened due to the sepsis reaching my lungs, creating fluids there that scarred one of my lungs heavily from the drain tube. For year I had that anniversary, I had new symptomes and no clue what was causing them. I fainted. Then my faintings became seizures with severe cramps and they lasted wayyyy too long. My crp was over 100, then the next year 200, the 300, and by the eight year from when my appendix burst it was almost 500. By the eight anniversary I was severely underweight. I had my first bleeding stomach ulcer aged 18. I had a body that was literally falling apart. My joints dislocated, I had inflammations everywhere, my crp being wayyyy over 450 was completely disregarded for a long time. Then right after I turned 20, about 7 years and 3 months post appendicitis, I started needing blood transfusions. From the day I was discharged the first time, my parents always asked if there was a chance that me never fully recovering and also having new and weird symtomes could be related to the appendicitis. This was met with ridicule. By the year I turned 20, which was nearing the 8th anniversary of it all, my parents started demanding answers as I was literally falling apart and my skin turned into this greenish blue hue that my doctor screamed at me that she'd only seen on a body that had been dead for a week, which I found hilarious. That day she said it was a miracle that I was standing on my own two feet and ordered an ambulance even tho my parents could have driven me to the hospital just 5 minutes away. My doc was scared I would actually die that day. My hair was thinning out and it looked fried. My nails didnt have the white half moon on them and also nearly fell off. I weighed 36 kilos, I was 5'2, and literal skin and bones. I then spent the next four months in hospital and I was tested for everything under the sun. It was intense. I swallowed a camera pill, I was radioactive, I drank any and every nasty gel and water filled with contrast fluids, colon flushes etc under the sun. Eventually they found to masses slightly larger than golf balls in my abdomen. They said I had cancer and would probably not have long left due to the state of my body. Was sent to a massive cancer hospital and had a massive abdominal surgery that saved my life. The post op biopsy found it was a very old infection and further investigations showed it was a leftover infection that they already knew about when I was discharged after that first month. Its right there in my charts that they knew I had a mass with infection that they were supposed to keep an eye on. Except when I was discharged, my parents were told I wouldnt need anymore hospitals or check ups. Not one word about the leftover appendicitis gunk inside of me. Had it been under supervision like it was meant to, I wouldnt have had appendicitis for eight years.
The dislocations turned out to be due to Ehlers Danlos syndrome, which was made 100 times worse due to how poorly my body was made from the infections. Due to the eds my body produce a lot of scar tissue. It presents outwardly as really unsightly scars, but internally, it binds everything together, hence why it screwed my lung so bad. I was gonna have a surgery for Endometriosis but they couldnt even start as my intestines are stuck to the abdominal wall and they couldnt continue without risking my entire life.
The amount of pain I've suffered since my appendix burst. And by the way, it was overlooked by the hospital the week before it exploded. My pcp said it was textbook appendicitis and sent me off to the hospital. At the hospital the doctor refused the possibility of it being appendicitis, sent me home with over the counter paracetamol and said to come back if the pain was still bad after a week. Five days later I was in a coma. My parents fought so hard to get me the right help was I was overlooked at every turn.
Speaking from someone who has had appendicitis and who’s appendix ruptured that same night, the pain I experienced that night was so terrible I would’ve rather passed a kidney stone then had that, the pain was a night I will never forget, I cannot even describe the unforgettable agony I was in that very night.
Yes doc, I have been a victim of the bullet ant's sting. And although it is painful, I still think that certain fractures or cruciate ligament rupture are worse pains.
My pinky got dislocated backwards from basketball once. It never hurt strangely even when the doctor put it back, aside from the usual swelling and aches afterwards. I suppose the nerves never got pinched?
Ive gotten cluster headaches off and on for years. It was in back of my neck and temples, felt like a jackhammer just constantly banging on my bone and rattling my brain, just white hot knife pressure is only way i can explain it. Light, sounds and even just the jolting from walking was enough to make me want to curl up and cry. Worst part is going to sleep with one from crying yourself to sleep and waking up for it to still be there. I was told though that clusterheadaches dont last long but in my case i had them for hours on end. Sometimes they would be brief but not always. They could literally start and stop all in a second with seemingly no trigger. I had mris, cat scans, etc done and nothing ever seemed wrong. Pain was definitely intense and worst pain ive had but a second close one would probably severe toothache from an abcess.
The first one, cluster headaches. Sounds very similar to what i experience. I thought it was allergies or migraines. Mine usually starts with pressure building between the eyes in the nose. Sometimes it will start in my forehead but every time it will feel like what this doctor described. I haven't found a diagnosis yet. It can be extremely debilitating
I currently suffer from Cluster Headaches and I can confirm that it does make you want to unalive.
As for the worst pain I think when I had an accute herniation on the lumbar was the worst because of how just slightly moving or even touching something mainly fron the waist down triggered all the nerves to firing and the pain was soo horrible I wasn't even able to use the restroom.
Dude, I’m right WITH you, started having them 2 years ago and if someone told me that I could remove my right eye in return for NEVER having another one, I’d do it, INSTANTLY. Prayers for you friend, hope you find relief.
Idk what you’re using now for helping the headaches, but for me, I’ll say that I’ve found ALOT of relief with ODT rizatriptan and 300mg monthly injections of emgality.
I have been stung by a wasp when I was little
Small intestine twisted following total large colon removal resulting in a total blockage needing surgery to unblock and remake my ostomy. The absolute WORST pain I've ever been in.
Im waiting for a colab with u and Dr Mike. but brave wilderness would be AWESOME!
my one brother had second degree burns on the back of his legs, he tripped/slipped and fell into the fire pit (we were camping with his dad, aunt, uncle and cousin) His dad took him to the hospital right away. His aunt though blamed me for it because we were arguing before despite the fact we were on opposite sides of the fire. With me, worse I've dealt with would have to be when I tore the meniscus of my left knee. I lived with my knee giving out from sharp pain for about 4 years because it took that long to find it, since I was putting my weight on my other leg and it was giving out from the pressure. Finally doctor found the cause, had surgery to fix the tear and he removed bone fragments. Which I suspect was from when I wiped out on my electric bike as I hit my knee when I fell/rolled onto the pavement.
Постоянно вас смотрю, информативные и интересные видео! 🔥
my best wishes go to all those who experienced and ever will experience appendicitis. a relative of mine had to go on the operating table 5 times due to a multitude of complications and errors of judgement from the doctor, in his words "worst experience of my whole life. if it ever happens again, somehow, do me a favor and just bury me" (it was much more raw and rude in reality)
strength to you, friends.

"What's the most painful thing you've ever experienced?"
Me: (two words) KIDNEY STONES
I think I have come close to have having a Cluster Headache as sometimes I get headaches that give me small jolts of pain
Oh my God I didn't know that's what those headaches are. I find that causeing so much pain you black out helps
I get headaches in both eyes every time i get sick
My best friend had shingles a few years ago. She told he it was one of the worst pains she ever felt and she couldn’t sleep hardly until the blisters scabbed over.
Can you please make a video about Hotline miami ??
Can you discuss the effects that shingles can have on a person based on its location. Like if its in the eye area and stuff?
Iirc I already told in the first video about the kidney stone I had to pass. First time in my life I called the ambulance on my own since it was on the right side and I wasn't sure if it was the appendix. Best part was how the people that came took 10 minutes to berate me to not call an ambulance if it's not an emergency. I was hella close to shout at them asking which darn doc is working on the Saturday the day before new years eve.
I had such pain with my eye many years ago. When at work I suffered an eye injury from a drop of molten silver that got into my eye. The first half of the day was not very painful. But then I couldn’t open my eyes for a week without a wild burning sensation, as if someone were burning me from the inside with a soldering iron. Even after 3 years, there were such pains when I suddenly woke up and opened my eyes. Protect your eyesight.
Fractured ribs, would love to see you and brave wilderness collab
Mowing grass some years ago i happened to run over a yellow jacket nest. I was stung 6 times in the legs before i made it to my front door just 2 feet away. My legs hurt for a solid week after and had difficulty walking to go along with it. I still have scars from the stings 12 years later.
Staph infection was my worst pain. It got misdiagnosed too at the first appointment, and me being hesitant to go to the hospital, I waited three weeks before getting a second opinion. That was stupid of me. I should've gone in sooner. At least I didn't wait four weeks. The doctor said I could've ended up dead if I waited much longer.
-bullet ant
-no executioner wasp
what
when I was playing with fire and got burned. Due to the fact that in Kazakhstan we are accustomed to not going to the doctor in such a situation, I simply applied anti-burn cream. my hand got a little crusty from the fire
great
Thanks for always supporting!
A Brave Wilderness collab would be awesome.
It's happening! Join me and Coyote on the Brave Wilderness channel LIVE on April 10th at 7 PM ET as he take a giant centipede bite.
I've gotten cluster headaches before and they surprisingly don't hurt as much as they used to.
(i guess my body got used to it)
Worst pain I have had is tied between a bulging disc L5-S1 causing major Sciatica down my right leg and an External Thrombosed Hemorrhoid.
When I was about eight years old my family was on vacation in Florida. I was wearing sandals, and my older cousin was insistent on opening a swinging door to a restaurant for everyone. She opened it, and it started to pass over my foot. Then it clipped the front edge of my toenail. And then my toenail was sitting next to my toe, no longer attached.
I will never forget it, to the point where if I wear sandals or flips now (at the age of 43) I back up as a swinging door opens or closes. Most painful experience in my life.
I had Shingles when I was around 18 years old. It completely surrounded my waist and part of my back and torso. To me, each blister felt like I was being stabbed by hundreds of long hat pins. The pain was continuous. I was given some kind of cream or salve to help dry up the blisters. It was one of the most painful things I've ever experienced.
I remember when my appendix ruptured i was in 4th grade with really bad shakes and a fever i was lying on the couch and starting to shake really badly and watching storage wars for 2 hours in the ER. Luckily when mine ruptured, all the liquid went into a gut pocket and didn't really go anywhere. I remember when the pain came i litterly got right of the school bus and boom. Luckily im not sure when they changed to the robotic small cuts but I dont have that huge scare unlike my mom, I just got 3 small ones. That same year on the first day of summer I broke my leg from biking the chain popped and wrapped not even an inch above my ankle, I broke booth tib and fib, I got supper lucky because where it broke was barely above my ankle and it didn't need fixed, also that year or the previous year they changed the times for how long leg casts needed to be on for i think it was like 4 months only
I had to have my appendix when I was 9 so I know that feeling. I also at another period in time pulled a muscle in my lower back and could barely walk or stand up which sucked
I am on PD dialysis. Sometimes i get severe cramping of my abdomen which can really hurt.
My lord, so that's what the headache is, I been getting them so often, mainly around my right eye going upward, it hurts so bad i sometimes wanna take my eye out to stop it
The worst I've ever had is being stung a couple hundred times at once by hornets at camp
I've lived with chronic pain for years with episodes of severe pain requiring hospitalization for pain management. For me one of the worst pains I've ever been through is Abdominal Migraines. The symptoms are similar to appendicitis but can last days to weeks.
Another intense pain was the headache I had when I had a septic infection. It isn't my number 1 because it was relatively short-lived once the got me broad-spectrum antibiotics, but it was the most intense pain I've been through. It felt like someone was pushing my head through a meat slicer with a 1000° knife.
Hey could you react to fundamental paper education? Their is a LOT of things you could get interested in checking
Pancreatitis is the worst pain I've ever felt, and I've had it for 4 years
the most painful thing I've ever experienced would be getting an armful of lacerations individually numbed with a huge syringe of Marcaine. my legs were kicking involuntarily and my screams were scaring other patients in the ER.
I still remember the first time I got stung by a wasp. It happened on my hand when I was swimming at a friends pool.
A few years ago, i repaired my nordmende tube radio, and reached for my soldering iron, and grabbed the hot iron tip, instead of the handle, the result was a absolutely perfect detailed pattern of the soldering iron tip on my hand, teperature: at least 350 to 400 degrees Celsius. It takes more than two months for healing.have a nice day everyone, and dont try this at home
The most painful situations I have experienced have been blood tests where it has been necessary to prick myself several times because they cannot find my vein.
Haha your edits are great! Worst pain I ever had was when Bath and Body Works Brown Sugar Cinnamon hand sanitizer accidentally shot out of the container and into my eye 😱
I have experienced emotional damage so painful that my body got rid of almost all my emotions as a defense mechanism
Honestly, I was wondering why sometimes I get a really bad pain behind my eye. It can be either one, but it's never behind both. Sometimes, its tolerable, but other times I just have to lay in the dark and hope it goes away. Most of the time I just press my hand into that eye and it helps a bit. Only thing that makes them stop, is if I force myself to sleep or nap. Sometimes even then I'll wake up and it's worse.
the worst thing I had sat on a fire ants nest was horrific another great video
I was about to comment dysmenorrhea from my endometriosis, but then your shingles prompt came up. I had to go through that pain when I was 11. It was in an abnormal place, my left thigh instead of my torso, buttocks, or face, but it was still terrible to experience as a kid. For me, it was like being stabbed with hundreds of needles at the same time every few minutes. The pain would get so bad that I'd fall if I was standing up, and I usually crawled around the house to avoid hitting my head on something.
I had number 2 it sucked. Made me cry.
I’d love a collab with you and brave wilderness please make that a thing
Doc what do I have when I wake up my whole body hot and when I walk. hard to keep my body balance and weakness head hurts body hurts also love the content and feel tired
I had second degree burn the pain did not stop even after days I will never forget this pain
Очень люблю этого врача❤
I had shingles when I was 2, at least once had them, can’t get chicken pox, the rash follows the nerve system
Gallstones was the worst pain I've ever felt
I always thought I had "simple" migraines. Bodily sick, but always got this "poker" stabbing me behind my left eye. The tiniest little bit my eyeball even moved, it stabbed me right back of the skull to back of the eye. Funnily enough, my Menière now years later, also situates this "side". So I did have cluster "headaches". Went through all of the "stages" as you do, with a neurologist. Turns out common ibuprofen (prescribed to 800mg for me) taken as soon as I get vision issues, so early enough, kind of has the ability to halt it dead in its tracks while other meds did 0. Sometimes I need to add on 1G of paracetamol. But then it is doable to gone. Simple OTC household pain medicine. In my case!
Yes!!!! Please do the collab. 🎉
La santanica en cuba
You should talk about testicular torsion, since there has been a lot of talk about it being an unimaginable pain, which would be worse than getting hit in the testicles.
I remember one of my most painful experiences came when one day i had to get my front 6 top teeth crowned but in order to do that they had to drill and carve my teeth and let me tell you something. They gave me that numbing agent but that didn't work it hit alot of nerves amd i ended up crying and roaring in pain.
hello doctor ♥️♥️👋👋👋👋👋

According to Brave Wilderness, a bite from the Giant Desert Centipede is worse than a sting from a Bullet Ant. I highly recommend reacting to some content from Brave Wilderness.
I suffer from cluster headaches. And I have found that submerging my head and body in water. Helps too subside. Just breathing through my nose.
I've also had facial steam burn and bad chemical burn on my hands.
