    I love TWSBI pens as well. I like low maintenance, non-fussy writing tools, so I love being able to see the ink level and color from the outside. I don't have to remember when it was last filled and with what. The ink doesn't dry up and flushes out well. They write smooth and are budget- friendly, too!

    I love it when you exclaim 'how cute they are together!' when you place the Kaweco. :)
    I agree. I do collect pocket pens, and they are certainly cute! I do like this new Sailor. Screw to post can be a bit irksome, so if I'm writing longer and will need to pause for thought, I favour my Sport, as it's easier to recap, and less prone to drying.

    The mini converters for the Sailor Mini is teeny, holds almost no ink. I am using the Sailor Shikiori cartridges. They come in a cute little 3-pack, nice colors and can be refilled. The Sailor cartridges are quite generous. Goulet Pens has them.

    I love TWISBI pens as well, they are so smooth to write with even when taking quick notes. The only problem with them if I find even their fine bibs are too thick for me and lay down too much ink on my moleskine notebook so I tend to use the Kaweco Sport for that so as to avoid page bleed through. The TWISBI pens and my Conklin are great for longer periods of writing though.

    • @adventuredenali

      Yeah they’re a great pen. Moleskin notebooks are tricky for fountain pens, I understand the conundrum.

    My go-to pen is still the first TWSBI Eco I got, a translucent orange in fine. I did recently get a Lamy Safari, which I love, but I haven't used it a lot lately. The Pelikan M400 is one of my grail pens! I love how they look. Basically all of the Pelikans look amazing to me. A little out of my price range, alas.

    Super cute! I want a sailor in my collection and it’s looking like the mini will be my least expensive option for a gold nib. I love small pens! Do you find that sailors have a lot of feedback?

    • @adventuredenali
      @adventuredenali  4 роки тому +2

      Some more than others, the hard medium fine nibs found on their pro gear slim and mini is a bit more feel back-y. But, with a little micro mesh, you can easily smooth it out if that’s something that bothers you. They’re not scratchy though, I think that’s an important distinction.

    • @adventuredenali

    I hate to be “that guy”. But you’ve made an error in naming the Sailor. It’s he Pro Gear SLIM Mini, not PG Mini. Sailor does make a Pro Gear mini, it’s the thickness and cap design of the pro gear standard but in mini length. It is a rare model but it does exist. So, i suggest you update your tittles. To avoid confusion.
