I just want to point out the effort they put into that accurate blast crater and the damage radius. It even takes into account the shockwave and large debris shrapnel.

That's human's propaganda here. Dragon sleep most of the time and then forced to wake up to defend themselves against intruders who want to become Dragon Slayers, so the best magic is to attack anything surrounding them or more specifically anything below theirs feet.
Most games, majority of players attack the feet and then die when raiding the Dragon's cave, so the best attack is to destroying everything surrounding the dragon.
Dragons don´t care what they destroy as long as the target is one of the things destroyed.

its actually explained that shes not used to firing magic from her hands like humans do. basically its like trying to draw with your feet, you can do it if you practice enough but its going to be pretty bad till you get it down.

Actually, she's not used to her human form so she can't control her magic properly. Kinik61 is somewhat right though, if she had used her human form more often or trained in using it a bit...it wouldn't be so unpredictable.
@@tasa4904 makes sense, I bet it was the same for Tohru from Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, when she achieved her transformation into a human for the first time, it must've taken her awhile to control her power properly too.
