Raeliana isn't the heroine or the villainess of the story the protagonist is reincarnated in. She's the character whose murder is the inciting incident that begins the story. "Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion" is wholly unique in that regard.
Thank you for compiling these Villainess anime. For me the anime that catalyzed my interest in Villainess genre is The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen simply because UA-cam is always bugging me with it's constant appearance in my UA-cam recommendations so I give it a chance and oh boy I fell in love with it! this anime! Had me balling my eyes in tears, and there goes me falling into the rabbit hole. here's the list villainess anime I watched so far in chronological order. (if my memory serves me right): -The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen -My Next Life as a Villainess: All routes leads to doom -My Next Life as a Villainess: All routes leads to doom 2nd season -I'm the Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss -I'm in Love with the Villainess -Doctor Elise -7th Time Loop -Tearmoon Empire -Why Raelina ended up at the Duke's Mansion
I've finished watching it all over and over again but now there's something new "Ill become a villainess that will go down in the history " I finished the first two episodes it was great.
In Doctor Elisa Lady of the lamp. In the manga, the storyline is different. If the anime follows the manga, Elisa will become a doctor by episode 2-3 and became a field medic in the upcoming war. She went to war instead of her brother to save his life to save his life. That is how she earned the nickname lady of the lamp. She tent to move around with a lamp to treat patients. The anime skip so much important event. They tried to squeeze a hanging at 150 chapter into 12 episodes rather than the standard 50 chapter into 12 episode.
@@alexanderenrique3058 The series mixed up the timeline from the original manga. In the manga, she first became a doctor within 3 months, then went to war, and only later was kidnapped by the noble to be Rescue by the second Prince. The king’s blood clot didn’t happen until the very end. By telling the story out of order, they left little room for a second season. They also skipped important details, like how her younger brother fell in love with Elsa, which is why he saved her and turned against the noble. Other event that was skipped like the person that asked Elsa for a dance is an enemy Prince who kidnapped her during the war. He was obsessed with Elsa. They completely told the whole story from beginning to end in the anime series. What I believe they should have done is fit this series into at least 36 episode
Finally! Someone who actually talks about the underrated animes! And they are my favourites, The most heritical last boss queen: villainess to savior and I'm taming the final boss! Don't get me wrong all of the romance isekai typo anime are my fav but these two are the exception and my most favourite, tysm!!
I ran out of villainess animes to watch, but then i checked on game world reincarnation I didn't listen to the warning from this video and uhhh... Yeah.... It is ecchi....

Still waiting for an actual villainess, villainess anime. Like her trying to become an evil queen, burn down villages, corrupt the hero, massacring armies. Like if Esdeath from Akame Ga Kill was the protagonist.
something to clarify for the otome isekai's specifically. The good ones have their protag having flawed knowledge but still struggling against destiny -Bakarina doesn't know all the routes. She played Keith and Geordo's routes but never completed them and never touched Alan or Nicol's routes. She only knows stuff about them from Aachan. And she knew nothing of a sequel game which she learns from a dream of Aachan playing it, getting snippets -Leon knows the events from being forced to play the game (with a guide) to get all cg scenes but his sister Marie doesn't. She bumbles her way through the events based only on the cg scenes (it was too hard and she made her brother play it to get all cg scenes) and manages to get the reverse harem route after stealing the protagonists spot but knows nothing of the final boss. And Leon knows nothing of the sequel game and Marie's memories of it are spotty -Pride has knowledge of the game but it only comes back to her right before events occur so she can't get ahead of the world trying to keep on narrative to meet and save characters earlier than they would normally appear. It's why she didn't do something about Gilbert's dying love Marianne until she was just about to die, because she didn't know/remember -Rae is one of those bad protags because she's miss "I know more about the world and story than even the devs because I wrote and read fanfiction on top of playing the game a bunch and buying all official released content" yet does nothing to prevent bad outcomes until like 10 minutes before everything goes to complete shit because she's too busy harassing and bullying poor Claire. She literally watches the duel that will set off riots and threaten her dear Claire's life knowing that the one dude's wand was tampered with and just... lets it happen. Because if she took any degree of action it would keep her away from Claire and being the worst. Claire deserves better
I haven't watched most of these, but back in the day, after All Routes Lead to Doom (HameFura for short), I fell deep into the rabbit hole on the manga side. There are still a few of those I'm hoping to see adapted, like Lady Rose and the one where the protagonist takes her exile as the villainess and becomes a nun, I forget the name. Of these anime, HameFura was amazing; Villainess lvl 99 wasn't terrible, but couldn't hold my interest past ep 9; Magical Revolution has a very interesting setting and premise, but I don't think it executes on them too well (it, however, has the distinction of being the only one of these stories that I know of, that treats the social and political ramifications of the usual Villainess Breakup Scene with realism and nuance), 7th Time Loop... is one of those stories where everyone is too earnest and melodramatic, and all the enemies turn out to be Good Guys, Really (tm), who are just one Denouement Scene away from becoming Steadfast Allies (tm). BUT. It's main character Rishe very quickly became my second favorite female lead IN ALL OF FICTION, just behind the Mad Saint Ista from Lois McMaster Bujold's Paladin of Souls.
Good thing you did anime and not manga/manhwa, 'cause your video would be several hours long with a decent chunck making a particular branche using "Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs" (and the slap scene during the ball) as it's root. (I do like, in this branch, "The banished villainess' husband", which 'fit' your condition but you learn it much later) (Also "Villager A Wants To Save The Villainess No Matter What!")
YOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOO I'M SO READY! THE VILLAINESS ANIME KICK IN RECENT YEARS HAS BEEN KEEPING ME AFLOAT! IF THERE'S ANY IN HERE I HAVEN'T SEEN, I WILL SOON ENOUGH!
The 7th Loop does not come under the Villainess troupe because Rishe is not a villainess and there was no villainess in the story. By your definition, then why is Unnamed Memories not in your list. Tinasha is basically in the same shoes as Rishe but this story does have a villainess, unlike 7th Loop.
Again an anime you missed maybe cause it doesn't actually suggest that the MC is going to die or be exiled but I raised Cinderella tenderly where the MC is reincarnated as Cinderella stepmother and sets out to get her safely betrothed to the prince and ends up having a romance of her own plus the prince fails in love with one of her daughters a d the Cinderella character isn't interested in getting married.
1st. Bakarina! I love that goofball. 4th. "I'll just give this man a love potion and make him mine. Oh that didn't work? OH! I'm glad that didn't work now that I think about it." 9th. "If you're going to step on me, step on me harder!" Just absolutely fantastic line. 12th. Autism Alert! 13th. Nothing witty to throw in. I've read this one a bit.
I clicked on this thinking that i'll find new animes but there is only anime I haven't watched goddammit, I'm running out of animes to watch (my to-be-den list already has more than 133 anime) and I've only watched 312 anime as of now (no big three, no jojo, no monster, no etc.

Thank you, I came here to say just that when I saw her in the thumbnail.

Have we even watched the same anime? She just had her exam results by episode 12, so it's still well before the arc where she goes to war.

Seen everything except for Game World Reincarnation thanks for introducing me to a new one and telling me what I can look forward to at the end
Hey it’s a hentai anime🤭🤫 I've seen it 😅 so if you like those stuff then you can search it in google 😊
great job at covering the Otome/villainess/isekaishojou genre
i have been reading im in love with the villainess currently on volume 2 and it will only go harder starting the next arc where the anime left off
it gets even crazier if they get to volumes 3 to 5
Princess Pride Royal Ivy made me like Fairouz Ai, she is great as Yumiella too, Excellent video
This is hella helpful I love villainess anime but here’s to little and you don’t read any manga so these are the only ones I watch thanks for the list
we need more I watched all and read the whole Lady with the lamp
I'm just jumping to the genre so this video helped a lot! Thanks for the video
Redhead villainesses & green eyed blonde villainesses are quite rare, aren’t they?
Exactly. I want a villainess with red hair already
What color would you like her eyes to be?
My Next life as a Villainess: Most adored MC by fans, Bakarina
