I think Caleb Ewan nearing his retirement if he didn't let away his pressure to win for himself. It's very hard to do a Mark Cavendish like in 2022.

Do you blame blame them. Pro sports especially, is performance rewarded. There is always something to learn in being 2nd. If you think not, you will never learn.

Feel the same. And bit weird to say it's harder to win when you have 7 different sprinters winning a stage instead of 2-3 dominant sprinters taking it all. Weird interview...

If only his previous team pedalled harder, positioned better and generally showed better performance when it mattered on his behalf he would have won a lot more over the last few years.

Hahahah he was just not good enough he’s not been very good this season as well
De Lie won races at Lotto so he was just not good enough
At the tour he showed bad attitude and was a crybaby

Who knows, maybe this year he can start with holding the wheel of his lead-out.

He’s a cry baby & blames everyone else. He hasn’t finished the last few GT’s and that’s got absolutely nothing to do with the team.

This is a similar story to cadel Evans experience with the Belgian team. The team manager will expect riders to win without the whole team protecting him and then leading out. The difference in the tour with jasper philipsen being led out by van der pol no one had a chance with Jasper's team. Caleb still won about 10 races over 22-23 and had several top 3 places. Caleb's a natural pure sprinter and maybe getting older although with luck and the team backing him 100% he'll be winning especially in the giro calebs is well suited to the rough sprints.

They lost faith because you gave up in sprints often .
