I personally like to use the Stereo Depth preset in the Master Plugin, plus a free version of Raum (Orchestral Hall preset) from Komplete Start, with a touch of EQ from Ozone, just cutting out a bit of the low frequencies. I put all that on the Master track, plus using the extra reverb from the Muse Reverb that you can't open that is automatically on the Aux 1 channel. To me it adds more life into the already great Muse Sounds.
I've been having loads of fun by adding Native Instrument's GuitarRig7 (an amp simulator and multi-effects rack) to whatever instrument strikes my fancy. I really like it on the cello. (But a warning for your ears ...right out of the gate it's loud and distorted...use with caution)
Hi there . Any idea why there are glissandos between every single note on Musescore when it comes to the strings ? Even when I have not added a glissando
It's the default portamento on the (solo) strings. You can change it with a sound flag at the beginning of the score. Use ctrl+T, then click on the sound icon and choose the sound you want. Non-legato is the quickest way to get rid of the portamento sound.
@@mccoydtromb Zorin is a Linux distro which is also natively compatible with Ubuntu & Linux apps (.deb or .AppImage executables), and dragon fly reverb is made for Linux. MuseScore can't accept third-party plugins on Linux? I don't want to install something for nothing.
How do you got those Waveform Free effects also in Musescore? I have installed the Tracktion Waveform Free software successfully (in that DAW I see they are present).. but now I cannot see them in the scroll down menu in Musescore.. Any hint? Thanks
In all honesty, I didn't load it up in MuseScore, just loaded in Waveform Free and then took a screenshot. But it should be possible. I'll experiment this weekend and let you know.
I've been going through the file system and can't seem to find where the Waveform Free effects are located. I suspect they are baked into the program somehow, or in a single .dll file to prevent them being used outside of Waveform Free. Still, plenty of other VSTs around on the interwebs to be able to add in to MuseScore!
Not on my computer..... I can find Reverb and ProEQ but not any of the other effects. I have version 4.4.2.242570931 revision 3130f97. Am I missing something??
MuseScore is getting better and better!
Thanks for making this demo.
It really is improving all the time!
You sir are a hero, because for some reason there are no documentation for none of the MuseFX and they have no interested in adding any
Thank you
Thank you! I hope it could help.

Thank you! Great to hear what has already worked.

That sounds like a lot of fun. So many sonic possibilities open up...
Thanks
You're welcome!

@ omg 😱 bro . Thank you so much . I was struggling for 5 fucking days and almost gave up. Thank you so much my man. Lots of love from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰
Can I add third party plugin like dragon fly on Zorin 17 os? It sounds good, very small and free
Yes, you can add VST 3 plugins. Definitely on windows and mac, not sure about on Linux.

Interesting. I hadn't heard that musehub changed things, but I'll investigate.
I dont see the musescore effects in the mixer for some reason... (Im on Linux btw)
Hm, interesting. There's still no MuseHub for linux, correct? Perhaps the effects aren't available on linux? I'll try to find out.
