Thank you so much, these are huge improvements! I know a couple people have put it down, but lots of us are hoping that MS drumline can hopefully be ported over soon, while using sforzando as a workaround is alright, it would be nice to not have to do that in the future! Thank you again for all that your team does!
Thank you so much! I mainly write for guitar and multiple voices to a staff, so all these improvements are directly valuable to me! And the Muse Sounds guitar sounds amazing!
Big thanks to the Musescore team! Musecore and Blender are the most important projects for digital media creators and both are raising the bar very high.

It's astounding to me that this is all free, such high quality yet in-depth and well thought out programs and sounds, made exactly for what the composer needs.
Duuuuuude, the timing couldnt have been better! Just last week I was looking for guitar samples on MuseSounds and there was nothing. And with so much love to detail, wooooah thanks guys!
Take a look at Harmony Assistant and their Virtual Singer add-on. It's not free nor is it perfect and still sounds robotic, but it's fun to play around with.
Oh man, it's like you guys read my mind! It seems like every update addresses something I didn't like about the previous version. I was recently writing out some guitar and bass tabs and though the soundfont sounded pretty bad, and now its fixed. I also thought it was kinda sad there wasn't any microtonal playback, but now I can try that out as well! Seriously fantastic work to all of you!

Thanks for continuing to improve this product! I use it all the time - two small things that would make a big difference for me are: 1. Being able to put a tie on the last note of a measure before a repeat sign, which is then tied to the first note of the measure you’re repeating to. In practice this looks like a tie to nowhere, but it’s something I often want to do in a jazz context. I currently work around this with a slur, but it’s not ideal. 2. When inputting chord symbols, Sibelius had a nice feature where you could hit the tab key to skip to the start of the next measure. I really miss this feature as it allowed me to transcribe chords in real time as the recording of a song was playing.
This is an amazing update, i started composing for guitar half a year ago and i always hated the ms basic sound haha. A question though, when will we have pipe organ with all the stops ?
I do hope someone from Musescore reads this... I appreciate all the incredible effort towards building MuseScore 4.2, as a guitarist who's been eagerly awaiting bends. HOWEVER.... it's still not quite there :/ oftentimes bends will go up & the guitarist, as the note's being held, slightly releases the tension of the bend, bringing the string back to an "unbent" or "less bent" state. In Musescore 3, you can easily do this, adding multiple nodes for the bend, but it's still not possible with MuseScore 4.2, which is really disappointing. I don't really understand why Musescore would force just a few set types of bends, locking you into only 2 nodes on the pitch graph. It's just trying to model the "real world", and in the real world not all bends are perfectly 1/4 step, without any release, or a full-step without any release. Again I really laud the efforts of the open-source devs & love that aspect of Musescore, but I'll be sticking with Musescore 3
What a leap forward! When the collective stupidity and brutality of humanity dominates the news, how wonderful to have this shining example of human intelligence and cooperation!
