I've had Simon's covers on all my Promaster windows for more than a year. One of my favorite purchases and if you're full time like me, good window covers are essential. Spendy, but far better quality than I could ever achieve myself. Mine still look and perform like new. Perfect fit, easy to put up and store, excellent sound, light and temperature blocking. No regrets. I carry Simon's biz cards in my van because so many people ask me about them. Thanks, Simon and everyone at Vanmadegear!

Wow, I templated the first batch for the Promaster with these guys. Beyond fantastic product! Anyone thinking about reflectix/fabric....save yourself the headache and junky quality and just buy these.
I did this video mostly because of that reason. There are some things that shouldn't be done ourselves and leave it to the pros! Just my opinion of course lol
My initial thought when seeing the thumb and tag was: I'm not going to like this, thumbs down. Then I watched. I liked and found it more informative than I ever thought it would be. Good job, Jarrod and thanks.
Now, if VMG would only offer the covers at a price I can afford. Hmm, stimulus check?
Great video and tour! I've been following your posts for a while ever since I jumped into the overland van market and got my 144 last month from OVP. Coincidently, I believe that window cover shown at the 12:20 mark was for my van since I just got it this past week from Dustin. I met Simon last fall at the Adventure Van Expo in St. Helen's. Spent about 15 minutes talking to him and am so glad I got a set for my van!

I like the idea of the window covering being attached so no need for storage. How are they mounted to plastic?

I’d seriously be interested in LDV high roof long wheel base but I don’t think they make them unfortunately
They don't offer mini van window covers unfortunately. What was the name of the insulating material they use?
Do they still make the dividers? They are not listed on their website

That van I spoke of is already done. I hope to get a tour of it this year but I need to coordinate with Troy and the clients because all 3 of us are in different cities. But it's a crazy van build!

You should look at this young lady named Janine her videos on her vans she stripped the van all the way down and start all over she's a young girl.
People are so funny. There are a lot of crafty people out here so doing them yourself is not only the right way to go, but can be done better if you take your time. I can tell these are poor quality just from the thumbnail.
I emailed and also called Reflectix company and they said not to use it for windows because it will cause window damage and breakage, and covering the Reflectix with cloth would negate its effects. They do not recommend using this material for covering van windows.
They don't use Reflectix. It's a different product
@@JarrodTocci Yes I know from watching your video. I have a transit that I want shades for: It’s just that I was very surprised to hear that from the Reflectix company after I contacted them to clear up some confusion all the different opinions on UA-cam and the net in general.
@@leppad I'm with you. Reflectix has a mod mentality and it makes me sad. I knew how bad Reflectix are but for some reason people keep using it
