YES FINALLY!! I've been using room correction for 20 years. At the time it made me spend 15x more on audio than prior. I'm very excited that they finally are rolling out ART, something that's been in their pipeline and talked about since 2017. Something that really appeals with Dirac ART compared to the competition is the possibility to apply their MIMO process to irregularly shaped rooms. So even though I have a dedicated rectangular listening room, the ability to use it in my regular living space as well really appeals. I think once a user have it it's going to be hard to not use it everywhere. Matthias Johansson's final comment - "If anything... try it out." I believe it ought to be demoed in far more settings than it has so far. With, so far, only one company combo demoing it, and mostly to business insiders and bloggers, the opportunity to try out Dirac ART is rather limited. They also need to bring out the VST studio version.

Does anthem correct for impulse response? What is time domain correction?

What’s the optimal setup for ART? Are we going back to large Speakers? Will there be different versions depending on the Processor? Does it actually sound better in real world listening?
I’ve seen many times where a graph looks good, but it sounds like shit with two Ears and a Brain.
Engineers are famous for “fixing” a problem that wasn’t actually a problem.
I’m skeptical until it’s released en masse, and everyone weighs in.

Nice Video! How does Dirac Active Room Treatment compare or stack up to Trinnov Waveforming Technology and which is better in your opinion?

Great video Cody, I have a question Mathias I run Dirac Live full bandwidth through magna pan speakers, but I noticed I get a squashed soundstage when using this room correction period. I like what it does in some aspects of the frequency range but I’d love to know if there’s an issue with working with these type of dipole speakers.

Hi, I do have xmc-2 like yours. By chance, did you ask him behind the scenes if bass control or ART is coming to emotiva?

Would this product make 2 channel stereo hifi music processors like integrated amplifiers obsolete?
Hifi 2 channel integrated barely have room correction to even begin with. Only ones I know are anthem and yamaha.
So does a home theather 7.1 or 9.1 setup exclusively being used for stereo music play back, with every other speaker acting as room treatment through dirac ART provide better 2 channel results?

Not quite, a person would still need some sort of processor (dedicated sound processor or AVR) to apply the room correction results (filters, crossover, etc.) for the speakers.
For you second question, maybe? I haven't tried it so I can't say for sure.

Shittest website ever though. Been there a few times and left in frustration. Maybe it's just not mobile friendly.
Also its about 500 bucks usd yea? (I couldn't find an actual price on the website anywhere , even when I clicked 'shop').
So in aussie dollars, they want EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS.
