I went to Louisville this past weekend to meet up with a guy to trade. I landed a M10 from 2020. Then I hit michters distillery and got in line 90 min before they opened and snagged a bomberger bundle and the old lady did a fill your own. Then on our way back to the car we stopped at the Frazier museum and I was able to get an old forester single barrel barrel proof

My bottle is from the same barrel number (23H2895) as the one breaking bourbon reviewed and gave a 5/5. Didn’t pay attention to barrel number until Cam did his video about it and mentioned the H barrels. Can confirm it smells and tastes fantastic. Like a creme brûlée with lemon zest

I had heard less than stellar reviews in general for the 2023 10yr Rye and took a pass, H or not. I still have a bottle of 22E that kicks butt. Great review. Gotta love an assistant that wants to have the last word. Ask her if she is friends with Alexa. That’s always a hoot 😂
Wow I have a 23H barrel and did not find it thin at all - Easy 8.5+
Single barrels after all... You can always come back to it later...
don't have the rye, but the 2023 M10 bourbon definitely has the WOW factor for me...

I have a 23J Rye. It’s good. But man, like you…it’s a bourbon. Smells and taste like it. With a little mint(only way you know). Strange

Matt I’m not sure about vampire bat anatomy, but humans have a VAS deferens. VON might be accurate for vampires, it sounds accurate for the title for an Eastern European family allergic to the sun and wooden stakes.

If I’m playing with UA-cam fun money, I would buy as many legacy LE/SE’s as that bank account allowed. I’ve had the last two 92pf rye LE’s and I’m out from now on. The $45 SiB rye is always on my shelf and way more consistent in barrels than these have been, regardless of rickhouses.
This crazy UA-cam advanced thinking that there is only one barrel of a certain release that is any good .

I believe they are producing more 10 year single barrels. I don’t believe it is a yearly release anymore.
