Thank you so much for reacting to our animations, man! We're still amazed at how much people enjoy our work, and it was pretty shocking how quickly you predicted our plot reveals ;) Lots more is on the way for our channel. Love from Germany!
@@DDann99 Great observation, the question then is, does respawn still occur in-game or was the Scout player simply "stuck" dead and thus easy prey for the creature to assimilate? We do see that heavy corpse later on Sniper finds and then it's gone when he looks away, was that respawn or the creature itself playing bait?
@@zexalcommander7036 Thank you for leaving a comment, zexal. My current understanding is that you need to die somewhere in the map where the creature CAN'T get your corpse. If you disconnect, the creature can follow you If chooses to. When It wants to "migrate", like How we see in the end of the video.
@@DDann99 Yep, dying out-of bounds seems to be the only sure way. We’ll have to see what becomes of JonyDany49 given he didn’t use this method I feel like he did just barely get away, cause there’s a couple of seconds of delay before the creature then disconnects
It seems that the entity was stuck in that single server, but by dissconnenting instead of dying first the engi left a "trail" of code the blight could follow, hence why it said thank you..
Someone figured out the reason the serverblight says “thank you” to the engineer, it’s because he pressed ALT+4 to leave and the entity thanked him because now it can do it too….its learning😟
Taken from last episode, sniper couldn't normally disconnect, meaning engie also couldn't, that implies that engie used ALT+F4 to leave since task manager takes too much time to open and close tf2, and in the end, the serverblight says "thank you" in medic's voice, and it leaves the server, possibly meaning that it learned how to use ALT+F4 to go in other servers Edit: at 3:21 you can see the serverblight's finger behind engie, it looks like scout's finger from last episode (possibly not), it means that it took engie's body and is using it as bait, as Dan said
I am really excited that there will be more of this, the creator(s) definitely deserve so much more recognition, its not easy to do TF2 horror, much less keeping it in the Source style of the game. My own thoughts and observations (with help from comments on the original video): What possibly happened at the end was that the Gibus engie ALT+F4'd his way out of the server. Only time will tell if the Gibus Engie truly escaped the creature or he was still taken despite Alt+F4ing. However, because of this, now the creature has learned a way to escape and *migrate* to other servers to prey on, hence why it says "Thank you!" This ties into my own personal theory that the creature spawned out of some Source spaghetti code (since TF2 is notorious for that, coconut anyone?) turned maliciously sentient and assimilated the first player it came in contact with: TheRealKid. Now we have little idea to how the creature's presence affects players in the server it is in outside of Guilliesuit who exhibited movements impossible for a regular TF2 model to make in-game. This leads me and others to believe that the longer you remain in the affected server, the more your mind (possibly, even entire being) melds with your own Merc avatar, leading to how Guilliesuit behaved until he himself was assimilated.
I wish you wouldn't spoil your reaction in the intro. Seriously, why do people do those intro clips that spoil the video? To grab the viewer's attention to give them a taste of what to expect?
Hey Sega, sorry for that. In all honesty is a way to intice the people of the video to stay a longer time. But I always recommend watching the original video first if you don't want spoilers.
@@DDann99 I'm glad you did away with it in the video for the latest episode. And for the record, I've already watched the entire series. I'm just talking about the reaction itself showing a highlight at the very beginning.
@@SegaMario I try to take the best moment I had in the video. The last one was due to the original creators putting my channels name as a player in the match. I'm still getting the hang of the oppening skit. Hopefully I'll get better with time. Ah nice. Spoiler avoided then. Good one

MY LIFE FOR NER'ZHUL!!!
From what I could gather, if you died in a place out of reach of the entity, you could leave. If you died near the entity, it could still absorb you
@@tombraiserzombie2581 not only that. But Scout was absorved. He appeared in the list of dead players at the end.

The creature is called Serverblight by the creator :>
Also in the end the monster says *thank you*
Indeed. My personal guess.
He follwed the engie to the next server.
