This reaction is a bit different as I've never reacted to what's essentially a movie (in terms of LENGTH and quality too ofc), so sorry if I struggle a bit. Loved watching your reaction to this... I'm a new subscriber to you so I'm just gonna say this objectively, I can see the passion and effort you put into this given that's it's a literal psychological endurance test of Eldridge Lovecraftian horror... The primary thing to understand as mentioned in several ways is that everyone in this movie is already dead & in hell... So when someone dies in this world "hell" they are being brought back to life in the game's world through the respawn machine, so Friz couldn't bring Jeremy back because he was actually alive & well on the other side... At the end when Friz is finally able to stay dead in hell he's returning to life where Scott/Jeremy is... The oddities like the Plague Doctor & scorched Spy are what's happening when time has elapsed for so long that all manner of things start to become possible as the meaning of life could be said to fill any void where there is none so when their souls are stuck around for too long the reality they are existing in is starting to shatter...
Hey man! This is about medic. When he is in scouts home his eyes change color from red to blue when someone is knocking on the door. Which would turn to be an officer spy and solider would meet at the house.
@@furrygaesex I somewhat agree, but also think there was enough talking for this react. Mainly because this hour and 48 minute long film does such a great job of pulling you in, so much so that it really can leave a good amount of viewers near speechless. It does this job so well due to the tension it builds and the well crafted horror it displays and makes you think about, which Ace does talk about at a good amount of points. Other parts, you are able to visibly see his reaction to.
@@KingdomAce "Jaunt" is absolutely terrifying, though I was surprised you got "It's eternity in there!" But haven't commented on "It's longer than you think." Considering how much more the second one is used.
@@KingdomAce the line "it's longer than you think" is another one from The Jaunt that appears a lot in emesis blue. It takes inspiration from a lot of things, but by far the biggest is The Jaunt
I think it was more I remembered the 2nd, but I fully recalled it all when the 1st was said. I don't think I'd have remembered in its entirety without both 😅 the mental scars resurfaced
The movie Scout was watching early on was named “M,” a German film following a child killer and a gang of criminals who sought to take him down. An important point in the movie was when the killer’s suit was marked with the letter M, marking him as the murderer to others and as a result led to his downfall. Another motif that Emesis Blue uses is the whistled tune of “In the Hall of the Mountain King,” which the murderer does I believe after a kill.
Fun fact: After the burning Pyro gets a hold of Medic and then touches his face, the Pyro actually left an 'M' shaped burn. Which parallels the serial killer in the 'M' tape.
A little detail: Medic doesn't forget anything that happens and there are so many little details in the animation. Scout tells him that if anyone hits him he should back twice as hard back. Spy gets him killed with one bullet gets one back and one extra.
@@Landon-tp at the part where they played roulette with the Revolver he the medic shoot himself with one bullet and at the funeral medic shoot him with two bullets
46:20 Those helmets aren't actually meant to stop bullets. They're just to protect your head from falling debris and grenade shrapnel. They might stop something like a pistol caliber, but a rifle would pass right through. Soldier was absolutely gambling his head by stepping out there
don't forget they jumped down there because Snipers bullet deflected off his helmet, and once more before he did it, so since this was a third chance to shoot him he was more likely to aim for a different area
@@sirrmobreadings6978 No, how did you get that? He misses the first shot pretty cleanly, and then down in the sewers, the other shot ricochets off the wall. Basically, he just has regular 2Fort Sniper aim.
press F if you agree that Emesis Blue deserves a Saxxy, press E if you agree that Emesis Blue should totally get a Saxxy Edit: Holy hell how is this comment still getting likes, thank y'all
i like how the Spy seems to be dumber than Soldier The Spy slaps the rocket launcher only to blow up the car, light up a cigarette while dowsed in gasoline and yet he blames the people for turning him to a burnt monster
Emesis Blue might just be the best thing to ever come out of Source Filmmaker When Spy and Soldier are in the Sewers and Spy threatens Soldier theres a Blue Light on Spies Side and a Red one on Soldiers Side. Its little Details like that which make everything great
I think not many people realized this, but after Soldier asks "you shot one of your own before?" and "Archibald teached you that?" at the sewers, we can see that Archibald DID teach to shoot his own teammates, thus getting his car, Soldier as a companion and a vacation. Emesis Blue is wild with so many details and that's why I love it.
The briefcase holds a similar plot point to the briefcase in Pulp Fiction, where the viewer never really gets to see what's inside, but the people in the movie know what it is and why it's so valuable.
Yeah it's normal. Because IT IS a reference to pulp fiction like the death of demoman in the lab and Dell's bathroom referencing to the Shining on top of the M we can see everywhere in the movie if you look close enough referencing the film M scout watched (All the names of movies you see on the VHS are real movies that really exist )
Thats not pulp ficiton, thats all fiction. Its called a macguffin, where it COULD do a bunch of things but what it does never features in the plot. All it needs to do is have people want it.
Some facts you might want to know about Team Fortress 2: -Conagher is the family name of the Engineer, his real name being Dell Conagher. -Scout's real name is Jeremy, last name unknown. -Soldier was once in a WW2 battlefield, but he wasn't part of the army due to being rejected enlistment. So, he flew to Europe himself and went on a killing spree of Axis forces even after the war where he didn't know it had ended. -Soldier's name is Jane Doe. -The Conagher Slaughterhouse is an actual map in Team Fortress 2 called 2fort, it's a capture-the-flag map and by far, the most popular map in all of Team Fortress 2. -Medic was said to have implanted nine souls in his body in the lore, somehow that saved him from death in the comics. It is possible that is how he survived his deaths in this movie. Though, it is not known if this was the time before he had implanted himself with extra souls.
In this film it'd seem Jane actually was a soldier evident by him receiving a medal in that one picture. There's a theory that because he was the only merc who had proper military experience, they believed he'd be a perfect choice to make clones of to win the war, which we saw in that cryo lab. There are other theories as well, such as that the briefcase contains the souls of the mercenaries and that there is spiritualism at play like we saw with the church scene. It's possible the souls of the mercs were harvested so that every time they die, they are snatched up again and put into a new body by the respawn machine. There's a theory that the deformed mercenaries like the Butcher (The Pyro who tied up the Detective or Spy), he Sniper who looked zombified but very much alive and conscious, and the Undertaker (The plague doctor-like figure we saw in medic's first hallucination and the one who held the Detective up at gunpoint after they killed the Heavy, are a an organized group, sort of a cult, who were also clones of the OG mercenaries who ended up having a respawn malfunction. At the very start of the movie, we see trials or tests of the respawn machine on possibly World War Two veterans or possibly "The Tenth Mercenary". In these trials it shows our known possible malfunction effects of the respawn machine. Brain problems, memory loss, schizophrenia, mental trauma, etc. for the first one. Physical deformities such as loss of eyes or as we saw with the Scout monster, a total change in body type. In the third trial it could either be simply a traumatized person or a zombification which we can see there are different types as we have the zombified but conscious sniper and the standard green mindless zombies. It's possible the scout monster is zombified as well. And for the fourth we had a big pool of blood and possibly flesh; this could be a reference to the Dr. using the machine. We saw the machine had an error and thus is malfunctioned, possibly respawning, instead of a scout, a pile of flesh and blood of scout or maybe other people. It is possible that the deformed Mercs's goal is to destroy the respawn machine and or get revenge on anyone involved with their terrifying conditions and trauma. It's possible they then made an elaborate plan to lure Merc's to Conagher Slaughterhouse because they knew they would end up destroying it, and thus, the respawn machine, and possibly anyone involved in their suffering, maybe they were the ones who kidnapped Archibald for this purpose. Sniper, being the most talkative of the bunch seems to know more than we do when it comes to respawning, he says has seen the other side and that its longer than you think. Which would explain his violent-ness and somewhat traumatized character. The theory goes that Medic or Dr. Ludwig has been overdosing on Emesis Diazepam which he thought was something else as said on the label. At the end we see the bottle was from 1963, 5 years before this takes place as we can assume by the 1968 date at the beginning. It's possible the pills were made so that respawning mercs would not remember the trip they took to respawn which could cause mental trauma, schizophrenia and hallucinations. There's also a theory that the person at the very start who was being tested was the Tenth Merc who apparently sh*t himself according to the phone call with Archibald and Blutarch. It's possible that the Tenth Class can possess Dr. Ludwig, giving him a sort of alternate personality. It's possible that Dr. Ludwig himself was completely innocent and just wanted to help his friend Scout this whole time, but the Tenth Class possesses him when he goes unconscious and that while possessed, he killed Scout, his mom, injured a police officer, killed the Conagher brothers, and took control at the funeral. It's possible that the Plague Doctor figure is not an alternate personality of Dr. Ludwig but the Tenth Class's spirit in physical form, who worked with the Pyro Butcher to kill Scout and his mom and then frame it on Ludwig by possessing him when the cops arrived and going crazy while in his body, since the injured police officer says the guy who hurt him was driving an ambulance and the bloody saw could've been used by possessed Ludwig. We see that Ludwig woke up after Scout was killed which seemed like he just fell asleep, but it could've been him doing the killing that whole time while possessed and then he'd just wake up not knowing what happened. If the Tenth Class could only take over while he's unconscious however, then why would Ludwig have suddenly gone unconscious after dropping Scout off? Maybe he was sleeping, and the Tenth can still possess him then. You can find the theories more Indepth here ua-cam.com/video/cyqkyXohpqM/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/DDlstyGd9kg/v-deo.html
01:51:29 medic’s new form is so terrifying that even a man who’s seen war, his own dead bodies and even his friends killed, is shocked by medic killing spy like that.
Here's a lil' fun fact 1:06:07 The texture used for Pyro's face was the one used in Half-Life 2, used for a corpse. That itself is kinda creepy, but it's more the *origin* of the texture that really is. It was pulled from an actual burnt corpse likely caused by the mafia. Fun!
Fun fact: the skinnier looking soldier-ish man we see in the beginning, in that no-lighting scene with soldier in the underground area, and the man standing at the stairway at the cut off bridge (plus we also see his face when solider falls into the pit) was apparently the tenth class, who we hear takes his own life in the phone call scene
@@KingdomAce its the "respawn core".Its something that powers and is in every respawn machine. The machine breaks if its used too much in a short amount of time but the medic was the only one able to use the core.Thats why he comes back multiple times. Also the plague doctor or the "Undertaker" is the medic after he got revived after the crash. He gets burnt like the butcher(Guy with a white mask and a burnt face) and almost everyone that wears black.Essentialy its a time paradox.
So, that movie that Scout pinched from Medic at the beginning is actually pretty significant. M is a 1931 crime thriller by the German expressionist director Fritz Lang, who also directed Metropolis, a landmark epic science fiction film from the silent era, often sighted as a prototype to the cyberpunk genre. M is pitch black drama about the village-wide manhunt for a child abducting serial killer. It's significant for a number of reasons. It was Lang's first sound picture and was the breakout role Peter Lorre, who would go on to have a storied career in Hollywood. More significantly, it's innovative presentation, dramatic atmosphere, and focus on forensic investigation was a sighted influence on early noir films and procedural dramas. So, like this films a big deal and has been on my bucket list for a while. Not every filmmaker can be credited for inspiring an entire genre, and here's a guy who inspired at least two!
19:59 this part actually confused me too the first time i saw it, but basically scout's mom was still alive and talking to scout (you can even see the lasagna in the oven in one of the shots) but the thing peeking over the corner was the decapitated head of scout's mother, she was killed while scout was on the phone. Edit: Also please watch the analysis of this film by "TheWhat Show" you dont have to make a reaction video on it but It'd be cool to see you realize how many things you actually got right and how many things you missed
You've no idea how much this kinda comment makes my day, especially after being a bit self conscious about how quiet I got at times. So this really makes me feel better 🙏🏾❤️
i love this movie even more upon a second watchthru. so glad you watched it thru to the end, it really was phenominally made, and its amazing how efective it is
Similar to the Shining, Emesis Blue does a phenomenal job of capturing the feeling of a nightmare. Things start out mostly grounded, then gradually the rules of reality begin to erode. You mentioned it making you feel numb, and I believe that was the exact feeling they were going for. By the later half, you're so lost in this horrible anti-logic that it doesn't even occur to you to question things. For example, it's only in retrospect that we wonder why Soldier and Medic willingly played Russian Roulette when handed the only gun in the room. In the moment it somehow felt like that was the only way out, which is the sort of thinking you usually only find in nightmares.
Fun fact: When Scout in the beginning said that "All my teeth fell out and there was blood all over the basin", at the end, Medic experienced the same thing. Medic had all his teeth fall out. When the scout said "If they hit you with something, You hit twice as hard", The medic was shot once by spy, and at the end, he shot spy twice. When the box of cassette tapes fell over in the beginning, The same exact scene happened after a long while. In this case, everything in this video always repeats, always in different perspectives or ways.
The saddest fact its soldier was the only survivor, Medic dies, Scout dies, Demoman dies Freezing and Spy dies because the shoot from medic, Soldier survive but with in wheel chair. This history is so wild.
Actually the wheelchair is a prop that spy used to make people believe the lies since spy told soldier to read the script and to make it believable he made soldier act like a witness since it would be suspicious that he got out without any injuries, also you can see when he was talking with the CIA agent he was unscathed.
Actually spy survivals but his whole body is burned and medic is alive at the end because remember this is all 20 seconds in a respawn machine because it’s an eternity in there and this is all in his head. Only his physical appearance stays not his mental it’s very deep but theres way more
I literally just found your channel from your reaction to the "Meet the team" video and watched every other TF2 video... i just finished your End Of The Line reaction video and now i see this... I guess i'm not sleeping tonight, Emesis Blu is the greatest fan made SFM yet (imo)
Man, i usually can't stand reaction "content", but i love it how proactive you are, and to think that you'd be apologising for abruptly stopping the video to point something out, lol, that's like the best part! I adore how you show your enthusiasm, call out references and give new viewers a bit of context by skimming over the teaser trailer in the prologue. The reaction vid genre would be a lot better if everyone strived to be like you, good job mate!
Wow, you really know your stuff. I'm used to people not understanding crap while reacting to stuff, getting everything afterwards from the conment section. You are well cultured tho it seems, I respect that. Also that "If I turn off lights, there wont be no facecam" joke got a chuckle out of me. Good video. Have my like and sub.
LOL thanks so much 🙏🏾 It's probably because I didn't go into content creation as a reactor, so I've already played through and watched so much. So that may make things hard in the long run, but hey, I'm just here to have fun! So thanks for coming along for the ride 🙏🏾❤️
If you listen hardly to when scouts mom says “Dinners ready dear!” You can hear the voice is AI and anything she said before that sounds actually human nice touch on the lore
I’m amazed that someone actually instantly caught the early reference to “The Jaunt” by Stephen King, as I myself hadn’t known about that before finding some different tales on explanations of the film.
This is the strangest, most well put together horror movie I’ve ever seen. It’s confusing, but the animation is great and the story is sick. It hits every tone it’s going for, and just when you think it’s all over, they hit you with the most spine chilling scene. I think the scariest, however, is definitely the scene where we see spy get kidnapped. Also, if you didn’t know beforehand: pretty sure the heavy, the pyro, (the one that captured spy), the sniper, and the three engineers were all test subjects that were respawn compatible. Reason why the weren’t scared when they died, instead saying “see you on the other side” I’m not even a tf2 fan, and this is awesome.
I cannot express how happy I am you immediately picked up on the reference to The Jaunt by Stephen King when the man in the respawn machine said "It's Eternity in There." Most people would never get that reference. You my friend have earned a follow.
I’ve seen a lot of reactions to this since the release of the feature video, but I actually found myself say out loud “Holy shit this guy is actually cultured” as compared to everyone else. There are so many different media references in the video that most people would overlook, and the Jaunt is definitely one of the more obscure references that ties everything together. Keep up the great work, you definitely earned some good support from this tf2-goer
Source Filmmaker animators going from making 20 second shitposts 20 minute goofy action animations, to creating a 2 hour long psychological horror experience that puts 99% of all Hollywood horror movies released in the past 5 years to shame.
One piece of evidence I haven’t seen anyone talk about in regards to the plague doctor / "undertaker" being the respawned version of post-movie Medic (as in Medic after crashing at the end of the movie respawned in the past before the events of the movie) is the gun. The plague doctor wields Spy’s gun, which he 'inherited' during the Russian Roulette and later used to kill Spy at Archibald’s funeral. He brought it back with him.
Yeah, i watched it with my brother some time, and it was extremely good. I got SFM months after, and, holy moly they took so much time to animate that.
14:46 on the road is the hearse 16:36 the xray of the human head turns to look at you 17:31 scouts mothers head 18:36 now showing in full glory what the previous timestamp was 19:22 pyro 21:07 yet again her head 24:44 scout asleep 31:09 fingers in the doorway thats all im showing, no im not gonna add more
TF2 is not a just game, it’s a timeless masterpiece, it’s a place where you wanna go back for your best warm game memories for the rest of your life. I've been playing TF2 since I was 18, now I'm 27 old married man and I have everything in my life that I could dream of… and steel playing with pure enjoy.
I realized some referencea like the "thursday octember 31" from the batman 2022 and when the spy says "and i'm giving you exacly what you deserved", is a reference to joker killing the guy on tv
I think that Jules Archibald was the "Corrupt File" because according to the photo's he killed people and probably let them respawn and possibly a copy of his own(the scene where Soldier and Demoman found Archibald in the cell).
It took me 8 run throughs and a week of research to understand the story, and even then it took me another week, and 15 complete rewrites to put the entire story into words. So with that, confusion of its story is 100% justified
Ok I think I found another good UA-camr, you are just chill not rowdy and loud like most youtubers and you actually are observant and not toxic or anything like that, instant sub for sure
1:16:50 so what is happening in this scene for those who don’t know is, that goop and sludge coming out of the respawn machine is scouts failed anatomy, that stuff is scout…so he was probably waiting an eternity clothing through the respawn machine just to be blended into a pool of liquid body parts and organs…that scream that our boy mentions is scout…this show is so dark.
Same with the monsters seen (except heavy and two face medic) they are all failed respawns, they went through the machine and came out dead or decomposed or stretched or mutilated, and the worst part is they probably sat in that weird void for years waiting to get too the end, only to be dead when exiting the machine
A cool detail, at the start of the movie, scout says "if they ever hit you with something, you hit back twice as hard" and medic is shot once by spy, and medic shoots spy twice
Conagher Slaughterhouse was in fact made from a map in TF2. It's based off of the map 2Fort, which was one of the Capture the Flag maps included in TF2 in 2007. Conagher Slaughterhouse is clearly a heavily modified 2Fort, however most of the changes are purely visual. Textures have been changed, and some objects have been removed to allow for them to be animated. They also obviously changed the lighting, as 2Fort takes place during the day, not at night.
1:46:01 the agent said to cheer up, so soldier did on the funeral. even though in this film soldier is different there's something in him we also know in our loved soldier from tf2, such as stupidity. respect the author for this
To clear out he had ammo in the revolver but the sniper took the bullets out, because they left him alive, also fun fact, pyro's face is from half life model which the texture is slightly changed picture from medical book of actual burnt corpse, i would go for more but i don't wanna ruin the fun of imagination
Duuuuude you had like the same reaction as mine I loved this movie, it feels so abstract... it doesn't feel scary, It's that unerving and well put togheter even if It's hard to figure it out the correlation It's so subminimal... A hell of experience
This whole thing is like The Shining, The Jaunt, The Seventh Seal, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, and Pulp Fiction made a Dragon Ball fusion with TF2. Also, the deformed Scout appearance is most likely another reference to The Jaunt, as the son in that story pretended to follow the rules of teleports and ended up a cackling, langly, maniacal mess. I hope you've also seen the "How it feels to play TF2 classes" series.
19:53 i think your right on the money with that, if you listen to the moms voice lines they sound... Odd to say to least. like they're the right words but not said to the right person and in the right moment. Its kinda like how your brain can know if silence in a room is not meant to be there, which is why sound guys will record the silence of the room the scenes in. Your brain can pick out small tiny details like that, whether its the tone of voice of another person, or the wrong silence in a room. Films that use those tiny little instictual parts of the psyche are always fun, when the directors know exactly what scares people its always gonna be a good time
Spy didnt gain powers, never noticed his watch through the whole movie? In the sewers it got broke, in the masked bad guy part where he was kidnapped it started functioning again, thats what made him invisible, for some reason you constantly look away. This is also game mechanic, spy can go invisible in the game, fully invisible, just like here.
Spoiler alerts 7:52 ‘’why this one in particular’’ imagine a film titled with one letter, seems curious to watch what its about and why its called ‘’M’’ 8:59 bro predicted the…. 11:30 you mean better than kingpin? 13:08 it was an ambush 37:02 even if the car is broken, they could still get out with the ambulance 54:37 oh and fun fact: those are called jaunts 57:38 oh and the ‘’he’’ is Archibald apparently. 1:02:33 the guy soldier swear’d to kill ended up being the one saving their lives 1:04:59 so thats what he ment by ‘’i’m gonna sue the hell out of blu for *what they did to me* ‘’ 1:08:22 wheelchairs in movies mostly means ‘’you’re not alone here, there’s someone else you’ve not seen’’ 1:15:00 even more proof that BLU are also responsible for crimes. 1:15:04 10 of them, after the 10th class kills himself, WITH SPY’S GUN After the multiple mistakes he made, spy realise what he was getting into. 1:22:34 reveals he was the murderer 1:29:03 not spy’s fault if Archibald tried to give up builders league after the hard work and suffering all the mercs did, thats like if they ask you to make a mariage cake, but cancel the mariage without telling you. 1:35:08 look back in ‘’intel hell’’ he’s actually gonna make it 1:59:15 the reason the briefcase was valuable, is because it contained all the souls from the dead mercs.
I do want to say that the side effects of Emesis Diazepam listed are the three main symptoms of Schizophrenia, caught by someone else who did an explanation video of a bit over two hours of dissection of this

Oh Great you wrote death do us, I love it Spy's disguise should be also mentioned because it's made by same channel (Fortress Films) and it's somewhat connected to Emesis blue
When i watched this for the first time I really had been on EDGE the whole time. I love this, my favorite horror/thriller that came out in recentl time
At the start scout says: "if they hit ya with somin you hit back twice as hard ya hear me?" Then spy forces him to k1ll himself and then near the end spy gets shot twice!
I watched a video explaining the whole movie after watching it twice. Few things I wanna mention. 1. The soldier we see at the beginning, aka the tenth class, is shown an unruly amount of times and probably has the most depth out of all the movie characters. He was the guy hanging in the cell, he was shown in the water soldier was shot into after rocket jumping, there were pictures showing him and tf2 soldier together, and there is a theory he is the plague doctor in the form of a spirit. 2.Medic has two different personalities, both of them are trying to have physical control. We see the blood thirsty one take control when the conagher brothers are killed. The red eyes and blue eyes we keep seeing on medic is the internal conflict representing those two personalities. 3. Soldier was the most respawn tested out of all the mercenaries, explaining why there were so many of his bodies at the slaughterhouse. If anyone wants deep detail I recommend searching an explanation video that’s an hour long. I forgot the creators name
I dont know if you know this yet, but spy can go invisible thanks to his invis watch, which is an item that lets you go completely invisible for about 10 seconds.
The BLUE people you saw killed by Spy are Heavy, Sniper, Scout. Each one of them died two times just to come back through Respawn machine. Archibard forced them to test Respawn machine, killed by Spy because of so called betrayal. After they respawned they wanted to kill Archibard and Mann brothers who agreed to his deals. The more they respawn, they more they look like zombies.
I still think reacting to LazyPurple's "TF2 is a Timeless Masterpiece" before heading into reacting to his "How it Feels to Play" series would be the best
1:06:08 fun fact! The model for the face Pyro uses is called “Corpse01.mdl” and was used in Half life 2. The notable thing about model this is the Textures, as it uses an edited photo of a real life burn victim from a Book about burn wounds.
This reaction is a bit different as I've never reacted to what's essentially a movie (in terms of LENGTH and quality too ofc), so sorry if I struggle a bit. The movie Scout was watching early on was named “M,” a German film following a child killer and a gang of criminals who sought to take him down. An important point in the movie was when the killer’s suit was marked with the letter M, marking him as the murderer to others and as a result led to his downfall.
Another motif that Emesis Blue uses is the whistled tune of “In the Hall of the Mountain King,” which the murderer does I believe after a kill.
super interesting! thanks for letting me know! I def wouldnt have known otherwise then 💀
Fun fact: After the burning Pyro gets a hold of Medic and then touches his face, the Pyro actually left an 'M' shaped burn. Which parallels the serial killer in the 'M' tape.

The briefcase holds a similar plot point to the briefcase in Pulp Fiction, where the viewer never really gets to see what's inside, but the people in the movie know what it is and why it's so valuable.
Yeah it's normal. Because IT IS a reference to pulp fiction like the death of demoman in the lab and Dell's bathroom referencing to the Shining on top of the M we can see everywhere in the movie if you look close enough referencing the film M scout watched (All the names of movies you see on the VHS are real movies that really exist )
it's a macguffin of sorts i suppose
pulp fiction, shining, Resident Evil, there's a ton of references.
I'm thinking it's the data from the Respawn Machine. Effectively, their trapped souls.
Thats not pulp ficiton, thats all fiction. Its called a macguffin, where it COULD do a bunch of things but what it does never features in the plot. All it needs to do is have people want it.
Some facts you might want to know about Team Fortress 2:
-Conagher is the family name of the Engineer, his real name being Dell Conagher.
I was in Emesis Blue as well. I mean, I'm the Pyro.
And you're everywhere.
i thought that the medic just healed himself after death due to medic being able to heal himself overtime in game
@@Reaper45rtgit's cause of the respawn machine he became immortal and when he dies the psychopath part of him takes control
You can find the theories more Indepth here ua-cam.com/video/cyqkyXohpqM/v-deo.html

There is a theory he is the plague doctor as a spirit, attempting to get revenge for the torture he went through in the respawn machine.

Ahhh okay. I saw someone else say the same so this helps me a lot. Thanks!

I really like this kinda father-son relationship they gave Medic and Scout. It both makes the story more wholesome, and more tragic.
19:59 this part actually confused me too the first time i saw it, but basically scout's mom was still alive and talking to scout (you can even see the lasagna in the oven in one of the shots) but the thing peeking over the corner was the decapitated head of scout's mother, she was killed while scout was on the phone.

This is what happens when game give you 20sec spawn instead few seconds
LOL
you know you've made a good film when a commentator forgets to commentate
Fun fact:
When Scout in the beginning said that "All my teeth fell out and there was blood all over the basin", at the end, Medic experienced the same thing.

When I first saw the title, I either thought he’s gonna think it’s scary as heck or he’s gonna think overwatch is still better

I think that Jules Archibald was the "Corrupt File" because according to the photo's he killed people and probably let them respawn and possibly a copy of his own(the scene where Soldier and Demoman found Archibald in the cell).
We have more reason to believe it was scout, given the file corruption prevented him from respawning.

Same with the monsters seen (except heavy and two face medic) they are all failed respawns, they went through the machine and came out dead or decomposed or stretched or mutilated, and the worst part is they probably sat in that weird void for years waiting to get too the end, only to be dead when exiting the machine

Nice touch, watching that one minute video about diazepam before continuing the scene with scout.

1:29:03 not spy’s fault if Archibald tried to give up builders league after the hard work and suffering all the mercs did, thats like if they ask you to make a mariage cake, but cancel the mariage without telling you.
1:35:08 look back in ‘’intel hell’’ he’s actually gonna make it
1:59:15 the reason the briefcase was valuable, is because it contained all the souls from the dead mercs.
I do want to say that the side effects of Emesis Diazepam listed are the three main symptoms of Schizophrenia, caught by someone else who did an explanation video of a bit over two hours of dissection of this
Jump scares are for amateurs. I want dread.
1:06:08 thats the face of someone who actually had their face torched, assumingly by the mafia
its used in half life and gmod as a ragdoll

Christ
add meet the blu team and saxxy awards videos
@@pybro1803 he can add all sfm tf2 animations lol
Give him the Tick Tock Tf2
2 hour movie about how BLU Medic is terrifying
Do u like pepper
1:09:56 that man is the tenth class or the guy who in the beginning said my eyes hurt but he is dead now and that's just his ghost
1:35:46 That was his invisibility watch, you see him using it earlier against the pyro while he's captured.
He also used it when confronting Stalingrad at the beginning of the film
"We gotta be real here.....im black"
Im dead 💀
I dont know if you know this yet, but spy can go invisible thanks to his invis watch, which is an item that lets you go completely invisible for about 10 seconds.
The BLUE people you saw killed by Spy are Heavy, Sniper, Scout. Each one of them died two times just to come back through Respawn machine. Archibard forced them to test Respawn machine, killed by Spy because of so called betrayal. After they respawned they wanted to kill Archibard and Mann brothers who agreed to his deals. The more they respawn, they more they look like zombies.
Awesome reaction mate, spot on, love how you were able to point out obscure references in the film
Thanks so much 🙏❤
I still think reacting to LazyPurple's "TF2 is a Timeless Masterpiece" before heading into reacting to his "How it Feels to Play" series would be the best
1:35:49 No he didn't, spy has a cloak watch in the game which can make him invisible.
1:06:08 fun fact! The model for the face Pyro uses is called “Corpse01.mdl” and was used in Half life 2. The notable thing about model this is the Textures, as it uses an edited photo of a real life burn victim from a Book about burn wounds.
The way spy turns his head to the radio it's just funny like the meat the engineer video which is his level 1 century gun turns 90° lightning fast
