But the death of Christ is the centerpiece of the puzzle. The whole bible from start to finish points to his death. The old testament is symbolism of his death all the animals sacrificed in Leviticus symbolized is death. The people were not saved by that ritual but trusting by faith in the future what it symbolized Christ sacrifice at the cross 2000yrs later Isaiah 53 he was wounded for our trangressions revelation 12vs11 they overcame by the blood of the lamb the. old testsmrnt is symbolism of his death and the new testament reality of his death
