    Hey there friends! One of the BIGGEST changes we did was setting the kitchen at night for the next day. Since the kitchen is the main hub for everything, if it’s ready to be used the next day it REALLY SETS US UP FOR SUCCESS! this means the dishes are done, floors are swept, counters are cleared, lunches are made and put in the fridge, and check the calendar for the next day. One of the personal things I do now at night is making A LIST OF THINGS I need to get done the following day and things to pick up at the store if it’s needed for dinner or what not. It just really sets me up for the following day so that I can be more prepared 🥰

    Hi I'm new to your channel and loving this video :) just wanted to say that you probably heard the "blessing hour" term from the Flylady cleaning system, though she calls it the "Weekly home blessing"!

    This is such an inspiring video! I’m naturally unorganized but have been feeling very convicted about making my home more of a haven for my family. I feel I have some great tools now.

    I’ve definitely drank the “make your bed” koolaid 😂😂 Even if it’s late in the afternoon and I haven’t got to it yet (the sign of a really crazy day), I still try to do it. And I always exhale a little because it just makes me feel so much better. Very helpful video, thank you!

    Thanks for sharing lovely, great practical tips. There was one moment I gasped out loud 'I wish someone would do that for me' when you mentioned about getting the house nice for when hubby comes home. I completely understanding wanting to show love by creating a beautiful clean tidy home...I work as a private cleaner so 5 days a week I clean and tidy other people's homes and I'm really proud of what I can achieve... but then I get home and have to do it all over again for my own home when I'm exhausted from taking care of everyone else. I'd love to come home to everything done. To all the husbands, partners etc. out there please don't take your other halves for granted they are amazing people. X

    I feel overwhelmed. I keep decluttering and minimizing. And still gets so messy and still to much stuff. I also feel bad tossing things out that I might use in the future

    • @AnnaBruceblog
      @AnnaBruceblog  Рік тому +1

      I’m sorry you feel overwhelmed. Maybe start small and set yourself timers each day. Helps so much. Also don’t feel bad about getting rid of stuff. Ask yourself “does this item give me joy” if no, toss it. Also remind yourself that those items are the things that are keeping you from having a decluttered home and mind so getting rid of them will get you to your goals

    I would love to hear more about chores for little ones. I have a 3, 5 & 8 year old and I don’t know how to assign household chores without having to later go behind them anyway to complete the chore “properly”
