This was the tip top of my collection many years ago. Haven bought a watch since. Pretty sure I bought it at least 10 years ago. Nickel on the watches selector button makes me break out. So I only wear it on occasions. It’s been a while. Still works still beautiful.
Changed battery, charged in direct sunlight and could not recieve signal. Set manually according to this video. Followed instructions as shown. Time, date, month and leap year was all set properly. Waited until midnight, 12am, and did the search signal option again and took a really long time and then it indicated a successful reception. It then set the time automatically, but set it incorrectly. 🙃 Had to set manually again.
I am in Singapore so radio sync is not available. I have set the timezone manually to BJS (+8)which is same as SGT, but noticed whenever i check Delhi(+5:30) time it shows 2 hours less. Rightfully it should be 2:30 hours less. Is it something wrong with my watch
My Citizen atomic watch (calibre H144) weighs in at 5.62 ounces. I replaced the stainless steel bracelet with a s/s mesh band and reduced the weight to 3.2 ounces.
My wife purchased this watch for me somewhere online. I think it may have been some sort of “Knockoff” because the stem did NOT have 3 separate clicks, so as to access ALL of the setting modes. The case and bracelet are very high quality, and it’s a beautiful piece, but I can’t help but think that “Something” is not “Authentic”. Has anyone else had this experience?
Brand new h145 moves on it own on the wrong time. I tried manually and the seconds only seem to skip as if I was doing nothing to it. Not the best atomic watch.
I have this watch, its acting weird. I attempt to manually set it but when I pull crown out one click, and then start turning it to set my time zone the hour hand moves and then set at 3:00 and now the second hand skips 2-3 seconds and it seems to have locked me out after pulling the crown out and or pushing the bottom button in it does nothing and I've only owned this watch for going on 6 years.
@@mauriciovallecilla I bought a capacitor from ebay. But my watch will not set to the correct time even after manually setting it. It also will not connect to the radio, no matter if I am at home or in a big city. I am in northeast Ohio but never had any issues connecting prior to the watch failing initially.
I scored an apparently unused 2016 model from Second Street (recycled goods/thrift store) here in Japan for the equivalent of about $16. It still had the projective plastic film on the back of the face and the band is totally spotless. BUT it says H415 on the back, not H145 like the video says. At any rate, I was able to do the automatic time/date sync (thanks to this vid!) and used a paperclip, piece of wood, and plyers to remove a few links from the band. Total score so far! We'll see how it performs in the long-run...

Second hand keeps moving in two second increments, but there isn't an issue with battery. What do i do? The time is completely off and i can't change any other settings as the second hand does not stop regardless of what i do
+William Thomas According to the inst. manual that indicates the battery is low on power. Keep it under a light source for a while to see if anything changes.
I'm 4 years late, but mine was doing the same thing, changed the battery and manually set according to this video and it seems to be doing good. So far. Having trouble recieving a signal tho.
This is what makes this watch so complex and interesting 😅

this is probably the only watch you really need to read the manual off
what if the hands do not rotate on pulling the button crown out.
Take a drink every time he says "Second multi function hand"
14!

nice watch for the money ... light durable accurate and really good water proof I have it inside on salt water every day for 30 minutes...
I have the watches and are really great. But I am only to set the timezone and change the DST option.
Will the watch automatically adjust time zones, after it receives the radio signal? Thank you 😊
It doesn't have GPS
you select the timezone manually

You have a dead capacitor.
I have the same problem, could you fix it?

I have to replace the battery. It doesn't do anything at all. Where's a good place to get a battery if anyone is willing to help?
I only had this watch for 3 years before it needed a New rechargeable battery.
thats horrible, because i had a solar watch and after 20 years it is still going!.
Does it have an alarm ?
no it does not have an alarm
7:34 on how to connect to radio tower and auto set time.
just recd a brand new H145 - nothing moves whatever I do - very poor quality - looks like I will return and get something else
TO bad Citizen doesn't have more Elegant Swatches on Radio and Satellite series ... All are with chronographs
Literally the watch in the video is not a chronograph.
