Tower Bridge = Same view, two separate images 77 years apart.

Tower Bridge "from Horsleydown Old Stairs." Same place - same angle = 77 years apart. My photo was taken on Wednesday 24th July 2024 = The shot below, was taken 77 years ago in 1947. & how much the cityscape, has changed, in those 77 years.

There was a lot of bomb damage in the City but I lived there from 1947and went to primary school there during the long period before anything was rebuilt.

@@mavisemberson8737 Hi Mavis. Yes indeed = surprising really "how long, sone of these bombsite, were around." Took a long time to recover, didn't it = financially & on architecturally.
