Ray’s been listening to George Harrison records on repeat, it appears. Didn’t like the last two albums, too many tricks. But this one has its moments, especially ‘let’s make it last’. Simpler is always better.
I am not sure I will ever understand why he stopped making music with the Pariah Dogs. Something just isn't there for me without that band along with Ray. It is like they were a part of one heart, one mind and one soul. after that he sounds lost.
Sean Meister it's part of progression/growth or whatever you want to call it. With Ray, you get what he wants to project to the world. Not what we want him to do. He is free from that
yep, that is one way of looking at it. And while I agree with what you are saying to a certain extent, my point is that for me personally, a kind of special musical magic was lost when he stopped making music with the Pariah Dogs. Yes, things change, yes, we change, and yes, we hopefully all grow and evolve....life is change...somethings are easier to let go of then others.

I hope this does really well for Ray. Still too much reverb for me. I liked my Ray out front and center and exposed. Sorta like the lead single to this album. I can see where his last few albums can set up a great mood for a live show where people come hang out and have fun.
Just not ray yet again...i mean such a simple thing , wat a beautiful beautiful song old school ray...and now sounds like more ear bashing super nova ... awful sound ...such a talent such a voice wasted by to much noise and voice affects ....couldnt wait for this album im cryin my eyes out...please go back to the 1st 4 albums unbeleivable albums

I agree, rays voice the past couple of albums sounds soft, I prefer the raw raspy stong vocals, the way he used to sing no one could touch him.
