I m glad you kept going even if the colors disappointed you. My beading teacher would say you are too close to your work so every imperfection is seen, but put it up walk out room, enter the room later and see it again with new eyes.

My daughter had a pair of those shoes. A toothbrush and paste cleanser (gumption etc) will bring them back to perfect white. A magic eraser works well too!

Painting tips for you “beautiful” shoes: ACTUALLY TAKE THE TIME TO WASH THEM, paint a white coat on them first, don’t paint over wet paint, when you want to change the color put a cote of white on first. Hope you enjoy your better shoes because if me ;)
