    Mate ride in 5th gear , take it into higher revs and let VVA kick in. You’ll get much better top speeds, I pretty much never ride in 6th

    Hi Imran, I just booked mine. Can I change the mirrors to the inverted ones and also the handlebar. I want to also change the front tyre to make it of the same dimension of the rear. Or maybe an 18 inch one not sure. let me know if u have these modes in mind. Please let me know which telephone mount have you installed.

    Hi question, I just got one of these bike very recently and decided to give it a quick check over. When I checked the oil level it say check it with bike level when I did this the oil started flowing out the oil dipstick plug hole. Has this been over filled. Could you do a quick video on how to properly check this and other checks, tire pressure, coolant etc. I am very new to motorcycles. Thanks.
    Anyone else know how to check oil levels please let me know.

    • @RoamWithImran
      @RoamWithImran  5 місяців тому +1

      Hi, I am not tehnical on these. However, as general info, checking the oil level in a Yamaha XSR 125 involves a straightforward process
      Start your motorcycle and let it run for a few minutes to warm up the engine. Warm oil will give you a more accurate reading.
      Park your motorcycle on a level surface to ensure an accurate oil level reading
      The Yamaha XSR 125, like many motorcycles, typically has an oil sight glass on the bottom side of the engine. It's usually a small, clear glass window.
      Turn off the engine and let the motorcycle sit for a minute to allow the oil to settle.
      Look through the oil sight glass. You should see the oil level between the upper and lower marks on the sight glass. There might be indicators like "F" for full and "L" for low.
      If the oil level is below the recommended range, you may need to add oil. Refer to your owner's manual for the correct type and amount of oil. It's crucial not to overfill, as this can cause issues.
      After adding oil, let the motorcycle sit for a moment, then recheck the oil level to ensure it's within the recommended range.
      Once you're done, make sure to securely tighten the oil cap.
      Remember that it's crucial to follow the specific instructions provided in your motorcycle's owner's manual, as details may vary between different models and years. If you're unsure or uncomfortable with the process, consider consulting a professional mechanic or the Yamaha dealership for guidance. Regular oil checks and maintenance are essential for the optimal performance and longevity of your motorcycle.
