Oh. My. Gosh! What an absolutely gorgeous journal; I am deeply envious. May I also say how much I enjoyed your delivery? I have noticed lately that many journalers absolutely rush through their flip/rip throughs. No time is given for the viewer to properly see the pages and often the ephemera isn't even shown, or only the first inch or so. I don't understand this; if a journal is worth showing the viewer should at least be given some time to appreciate it; otherwise, what is the point. Also, relatively few now give the sort of detailed commentary that you did with yours. Everything about it (except that it isn't mine) was a delight. This journal really is heirloom quality. My husband died just over two years ago and I am still deeply grieving for him and this time of year is especially raw. I was feeling very depressed so thought I would watch my favourite things: anything to do with art and crafts. I can't say seeing your journal made me happy, I don't think that I shall ever feel that emotion again; but it did make me feel less sad and reminded me that there are still things in the world that, through God's grace, I might still be able to enjoy. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful journal with me.

Shelli~ so wonderful to see you again :-) Hope you have been well. I enjoyed watching. What a treasure filled journal. The butterfly pockets and reverse waterfall were so interesting. Love your creations. Rosaries are dear to me, and I collect them as well. Best wishes~ Valerie.

I watch Gayle Agustinalli youtube channel every day. Gayle is always using your paper flowers. Gayle and you inspired me to make some antique bookpage flowers out of Tim Holtz diecut in have. I went to your Etsy shop to get a close look of your flowers. I found some snaps in my mothers old sewing basket and her tin of old buttons. I noticed you ship from Portland, Oregon. Surprise, we are neighbors. I live in Salem. I'm a retired bank manager and make journals as gifts. I'm 73 and my birthday is the same month as Gayles. Been married for 51years and had two kids and have three grandkids. My two brothers never married and we lost our mother to cancer in 1975. Two weeks before my husband and I was moving to Oregon. He was transferring up from JCPennys to help open Washington Square Mall in Tigard. My Dad was six months from retiring from the Air Force when we lost Mom. MY moms family were dairy farmers Tillamook since 1942. My whole house is full of antiques from my childhood from my grandparent's and all my Mom stuff. My Dad got orders to be stationed in Germany during 1968 to 1970. I great memories of traveling the counties around Germany. Glad you are going to do more youtube videos in the future. Take care with a big hug always.
