Paxton had a nice episode (I still prefer' Ben's tough), however you are so right that Ben was much more affected by Devi's action. Paxton had a safety net, his friends, many fan girls (signing the cast), even Ben's ex is now hanging in Paxton's group. And Ben had Devi.... He can be a d*ck but I am still firmly team Ben.
I'm always surprised whenever I see this take. Ben is a rich white boy with LOTS of options to go to college and has had 3 relationships in the span of two seasons. This drama with Devi solely derailed Paxton's ONLY option at a future. Where's his safety net? This episode showed that he's bored with his friends. He has groupies because he's hot, not girlfriends, not affection or relationships. Then comes this girl that he's really falling for, and she cheats on him. Just because Paxton is pretty, it doesn't mean he doesn't have his own insecurities and shortcomings. If Ben is insecure about not being popular enough, Paxton is insecure about not being smart enough. That was the point of his episode.

Quinn may i explain? In Paxton's POV we didn't get to see much of Eleanor or Fab because they are Devi's friends and dont have a real connection to him. Just like in Ben's POV where we didn't see much of Kamala or the therapist. Ben has no legit relationship with either so it doesn't make sense to just throw them in there.

@@leiaiza4291 at least he didn't intentionally give her a hurtful nickname, Mae fun of her sex appeal (which is ironic), bully her for years, and only chases after Devi when she starts having a budding relationship with some other guy. He also didn't shame her in public when she hurt him and doesn't hold grudges as long.
