    I hope you all like the video. These videos take a long time to make, so I'm always worried that by the time I get to a new movie or show, it'll be too late. I mean, look at this one. Everyone got their videos out like last week. So if you enjoyed the video even a little bit, maybe send it to a friend or something? Anyway, either way, thanks for watching

    ok but in the movie why was padget embarrassed of her mom being a nurse tho? isn't that a respectable job? especially during this whole covid thing-

    • @PaulinaHerries
      @PaulinaHerries 3 роки тому +254

      It's never explicitly said that she's embarrassed of that. Actually, her friends know her mom is a nurse and I believe she tells Cameron at some point as 'a matter of fact' and not really as a confession. They make it look like if Padgett would've never thought that her mom's profession would hint on her true household income. So weird, I know. But well, when her friends confront her about it, they actually start with that piece of info, as to say that "Dah, it's a no brainer". Personally I think that's just lazy writing. The only way Padgett could've sustained such a big lie for so many years is if she had a tangled web of lies going on. She could've explained her supposedly rich life if she had a real or imaginary rich dad living somewhere else who allegedly supported her and her mom, then the lie could've had a greater impact. Also, it's very strange how supportive her mom is with it. It would be a different story if she had just come clean about her income and said that everything she had was made out from her hard work. I think that's cooler than a your parent's wallet, because from what they show in the movie, she was doing pretty good for a teenager.

Then toward the end of the movie, he was going to find out the truth and get hurt but at that point, Padgett would have genuine feelings for him. Then somehow they would magically end up together at the end. Seen it 1000 times before.

      It's not even fresh white beard, it's just stale and moldy, every movie takes effort but this is so lazy I doubt any real effort went into the script, the direction is bad because the acting is bad and the hardest part probably was the editing to make something this bad into something even tolerable in moments.
