You were definitely born to be a Mom, Alicia! You are so calm and caring to those two little cuties! I feel so bad they are having an off day. Teething is one of the worst things for the little ones! Helpful hint ..if you have any frozen waffles, the coldness helps with teething pain. Hope tomorrow is a better day for them. God bless.

I discovered u a couple of weeks ago. I too am a mom of twins. Mine r boys & they will be 37 this year. I tried the wash cloths too but they threw them in the floor & we had 7 cats at the time. Someone turned me on to carrots. I cleaned them & kept them in a glass with water in the refrigerator. They stayed colder longer & were easier to rinse off when they hit the floor. As the teeth came in & they gnawed on them I would cut the ends off so they didn't choke.
We all love you and your babies!! such a great mommy!!;).... May the Presence of the Lord be on your home...Love and many blessings to you all!!...❤🔥💞💖

Aww, sweet girls. Still not feeling the best. Probably getting more teeth.I think Guinevere put her fork too far in her mouth and got poked, good job using it though. Love them both, you too.♥️♥️
Astăzi gemenele au nevoie, de mai multă mângâiere și atenție din partea mamei. Mama știe cum să intervină, și fetițele se liniștesc. "Good job", mama Alicia. 🤗🌺🍀🌸💞
They are trying ,bless their hearts, scooping ,but the fingers still work best ,full size hard for little hands. They are very bright little girls, did you see Gwen glare at the fork? Even when you tried to feed her. They are beginning to send their own messages now.😂
You know you have so many old timer Grandmothers in love with you ,the babies,Walt, who were first time mommies,at one time and see you got a double dose, and we think we are raising the girls along with you.Once a mom, or grandmother always one.
I think they loved the lasagna when the first tried it. Then Anastasia seemed like she didn't feel good. I noticed Gwynneville was really eating the lasagna. She couldn't get enough. But then she hit her gums with the spork. I think they both are teething. Poor babies. You did a great job comforting them and playing peek a boo. Let us know if the frozen wash cloths help. Praying everyone feels better tomorrow. 🙏 ❤
They didn't understand to chew on the wash cloths or anything frozen... I'm sure it will passed so enough. And it's ok, so many people misspell both their names😅 They're pretty long names and it's interesting seeing all the different spellings!🩷🩷

I an glad they are starting to feel better teething or allergies are tough.. my allergies got me good this year its awful 😢😢.. they sure like the lasagna!! They are precious even when they cry😢😢 ❤❤ xoxo 's for both Ana and Gwen.. from Amy
Ingredients For the meat sauce • 2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil • 1 pound ground beef chuck • 1/2 medium onion, diced (about 3/4 cup) • 1/2 large bell pepper (green, red, or yellow), diced (about 3/4 cup) • 2 cloves garlic, minced • 1 (28-ounce)can good-quality tomato sauce • 3 ounces tomato paste (half a 6-ounce can) • 1 (14 ounce) can crushed tomatoes • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh oregano, or 2 teaspoons dried oregano • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (preferably flat leaf), packed • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning • 1 pinch garlic powder and/or garlic salt • 1 tablespoon red or white wine vinegar • 1 tablespoon to 1/4 cup sugar (to taste, optional) • Salt To assemble the lasagna • 1/2 pound dry lasagna noodles (requires 9 lasagna noodles - unbroken) • 15 ounces ricotta cheese • 1 1/2 pounds (24 ounces) mozzarella cheese, grated or sliced • 1/4 pound (4 ounces) freshly grated Parmesan cheese Method • Put pasta water on to boil: Put a large pot of salted water (1 tablespoon of salt for every 2 quarts of water) on the stovetop on high heat. It can take a while for a large pot of water to come to a boil (this will be your pasta water), so prepare the sauce in the next steps while the water is heating. • Brown the ground beef: In a large skillet heat 2 teaspoons of olive oil on medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until it is lightly browned on all sides. Remove the beef with a slotted spoon to a bowl. Drain off all but a tablespoon of fat Cook the bell pepper, onions, and garlic; add back the beef: Add the diced bell pepper and onions to the skillet (in the photo we are using yellow bell pepper and red onions). Cook for 4 to 5 minutes, until the onions are translucent and the peppers softened. Add the minced garlic and cook half a minute more. Return the browned ground beef to the pan. Stir to combine, reduce the heat to low, and cook for another 5 minutes. Make the sauce: Transfer the beef mixture to a medium-sized (3- to 4-quart) pot. Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, and tomato paste to the pot. Add the parsley, oregano, and Italian seasonings, adjusting the amounts to taste. Sprinkle with garlic powder and/or garlic salt, to taste. Sprinkle with red or white wine vinegar. Stir in sugar, a tablespoon at a time, tasting after each addition, to taste. (The amount of sugar needed will vary, depending on how acidic the tomatoes are that you are using.) Add salt to taste, and note that you will later be adding Parmesan, which is salty. Bring the sauce to a simmer and then lower the heat to maintain a low simmer. Cook for 15 to 45 minutes, stirring often. Scrape the bottom of the pot every so often so nothing sticks to the bottom and scorches. Remove from heat. Boil and drain the lasagna noodles: By now the salted water you started heating in step one should be boiling. Add the dry lasagna noodles and cook them to al dente, per package directions. (Note noodles may be cooked in advance.) Stir often to prevent from sticking. Make sure that water remains at a full rolling boil during the entire cooking to prevent noodles from sticking. When ready, drain in a colander and rinse with cool water, gently separating any noodles that may be sticking together. Spread a little olive oil on a large rimmed baking sheet, and lay out the cooked noodles on this sheet, turning them over so that they get coated with a little of the olive oil. This will prevent them from sticking together. • Preheat the oven to 375°F. • Assemble the lasagna: In a 9x13-inch casserole or lasagna dish, ladle a cup of sauce and spread it over the bottom of the dish. Arrange one layer of lasagna noodles lengthwise (about 3 long noodles, the edges may overlap, depending on your pan) over the sauce. Ladle a third of the remaining sauce over the noodles. Sprinkle a layer of a third of the grated mozzarella on top of the lasagna sauce. Add half of the ricotta cheese, by placing cheese dollops every couple of inches. Sprinkle half the grated parmesan cheese evenly over the top of the ricotta cheese. Apply the second layer of noodles and top it with half of the remaining sauce. Add half of the remaining mozzarella, the remaining ricotta cheese, and another the remaining Parmesan. Finish with another layer of noodles. Spread the remaining sauce over the top layer of noodles and sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella cheese. • Bake: Cover the lasagna pan with aluminum foil, tented slightly so it doesn't touch the noodles or sauce). Bake at 375°F for 45 minutes. Uncover in the last 10 minutes if you'd like more of a crusty top or edges. • Cool and serve: Allow the lasagna to cool for at least 15 before serving. Leftovers will keep for about 5 days. You can reheat it in a conventional oven or microwave. Leave the aluminum tent on for storage. (Try to keep the aluminum foil from touching the sauce.) Enjoy!💗💗

Lasagna looks so good! Much better than the Chef Boyardee my mom served at lunch. Lol. 🍝 😘
Nothing against Chef boyardee, but the sauce always tasted fake to me😅🩷🩷
Such beautiful girls...love how they both look at you...teething problems today but still adorable❤😊xc
Thank you 😊♥️♥️
I discovered u a couple of weeks ago.
Thank you! I'll give that a try😊💖💖
Alicia love to see your sweet interactions with the girls. ❤️🥰
Thank you💖💖
We all love you and your babies!! such a great mommy!!;).... May the Presence of the Lord
be on your home...Love and many blessings to you all!!...❤🔥💞💖
Thank you🤗♥️♥️
Your such a good mom and know how to settle them down when they are crying and focus their attention on something else! Poor babies teething! Prayers they come out soon..you can tell they like your lasagna!
Guinevere's came out (she now has 4 top teeth and 4 bottom), but Anastasia's are still just under the gum (she has 4 top teeth and 2 bottom)🩷🩷
OMG, they are just so cute I can’t stand it!!❤️❤️
😆Thank you♥️♥️
I will bet that they are both teething. That’s why they are not their usual self. Poor little ones but mom will make things better. No matter what, they are the best. They never fail to make me happy. Hope they feel better soon.❤
Thank you💗💗
You're such a great Mom.
Thank you♥️♥️
Aww, sweet girls. Still not feeling the best. Probably getting more teeth.I think Guinevere put her fork too far in her mouth and got poked, good job using it though. Love them both, you too.♥️♥️
I think you're right🥰🥰♥️♥️
Glad they’re feeling better.
I sure hope they got to feeling better 🥰
I'm pretty sure they're just teething💓💓
Wants to play peek a boo mom but my teeth hurt. They are both little troopers.
They did good🥰♥️♥️
Thumpkin - so so cute!
They love it😆💓💓
Astăzi gemenele au nevoie, de mai multă mângâiere și atenție din partea mamei.
Mama știe cum să intervină, și fetițele se liniștesc.
"Good job", mama Alicia.
🤗🌺🍀🌸💞
Thank you💓💓
They are trying ,bless their hearts, scooping ,but the fingers still work best ,full size hard for little hands. They are very bright little girls, did you see Gwen glare at the fork? Even when you tried to feed her. They are beginning to send their own messages now.😂
She was very mad that the fork hurt her mouth😅🩷🩷
You know you have so many old timer Grandmothers in love with you ,the babies,Walt, who were first time mommies,at one time and see you got a double dose, and we think we are raising the girls along with you.Once a mom, or grandmother always one.
It takes a village!🤗🥰♥️♥️
Sore gums love them they are beautiful girls xxx
I agree💖💖
Two Too Cute!!❤❤😊😊
🥰❤️❤️
I think they loved the lasagna when the first tried it. Then Anastasia seemed like she didn't feel good. I noticed Gwynneville was really eating the lasagna. She couldn't get enough. But then she hit her gums with the spork. I think they both are teething. Poor babies. You did a great job comforting them and playing peek a boo. Let us know if the frozen wash cloths help. Praying everyone feels better tomorrow. 🙏 ❤
I hate when I misspell Guinevere
They didn't understand to chew on the wash cloths or anything frozen... I'm sure it will passed so enough. And it's ok, so many people misspell both their names😅 They're pretty long names and it's interesting seeing all the different spellings!🩷🩷
Your Lasagna looks delish. And, I’m glad all went well for your gathering. Alisha, are you a Teacher ? Your soooo patient. They were doing so well, something triggered them. It’s so much easier when they can speak. Good luck Mama, I hope your day goes easier for you all. Love from Belleville, NJ. ❤️💋🙋🏼💗💕
I'm not a teacher, I'm a barber by trade, but I've learned you get more done when you're patient. I think Guinevere hit her already sensitive gums with the fork...I can't wait for these teeth to come in!💖💖
@@aliciabarton3497 poor babies. I know it was probably frowned upon, but my Mother said rub his gums with Brandy. I used to do it after his night bottle. Today It would probably be a no-No. have a great night. 🙋🏼❤️
I remember babysitting when I was younger and the parents told me that if the baby wouldn't sleep rub the whiskey on his gums and it would work😬 I'm saving that as a last resort, but I'm managing ok right now😊 I just feel bad for them and there's only so much Tylenol can do😔💖💖
@@aliciabarton3497 so true Mama. Something about the alcohol helps. I’ve heard that they have Liquid Magnesium for babies. It has a relaxant for nighttime. Nothing is always better, but ask your Dr. If they hurt too much. Much Love❤️🙋🏼🤞
Thank you💖💖
I don't like to see the girls cry. I🎉t makes me sad. Hope they are ok.
I think Guinevere hit her teeth with the spoon, she didn't cry long😊💗💗
OMG. Gwen's tomato-stained face is so cute! Bath, anyone? 🙂
They love baths and I don't mind a little mess😊❤️❤️
They are so cute! I know it hard to take care of 2 babies.
They're a handful, but I wouldn't trade it for anything 💗💗
Alicia , they are so cute, ...when I act like that to my husband, he just go to the refrigerator , get a beer and leave me with the dogs. Anastasia,Guinevere kept being cute....

I think Guinevere hit the roof of her mouth🫢💕

🤣🤣I made it at 11:00pm the night before the party😅 and it was so yummy!
@@aliciabarton3497 Just WOW!!!
I only slept 3 hours that night😅💖💖
My favorite part of a lasagna is the slightly burnt crunchy edges. 😋
I couldn't give the girls those parts, but they're my favorite too!❤️❤️
I love seeing what’s on the menu😂
😆💗💗
The lasagna is a hit momma!
They really liked it!❤️❤️
❤it’s a beautiful life! And delish!!!!

Thank you💗💗
Oh no. They’re crying. I feel so bad when babies cry.
I'm pretty sure Guinevere hit her teeth with the spoon and they're both teething😔 but the tears didn't last long😊🩷🩷
They are getting good at using their spoons.
Yes they are!❤️❤️
We live so far away from our grands and only see them once a year. I see what we have missed.
That's why I started this channel, so their grandparents and other family that lives far away were able to follow them and watch them grow up!😊💗💗
Can you please share your recipe? Looks like it is yummy
Ingredients
For the meat sauce
• 2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
• 1 pound ground beef chuck
• 1/2 medium onion, diced (about 3/4 cup)
• 1/2 large bell pepper (green, red, or yellow), diced (about 3/4 cup)
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 (28-ounce)can good-quality tomato sauce
• 3 ounces tomato paste (half a 6-ounce can)
• 1 (14 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
• 2 tablespoons chopped fresh oregano, or 2 teaspoons dried oregano
• 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (preferably flat leaf), packed
• 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
• 1 pinch garlic powder and/or garlic salt
• 1 tablespoon red or white wine vinegar
• 1 tablespoon to 1/4 cup sugar (to taste, optional)
• Salt
To assemble the lasagna
• 1/2 pound dry lasagna noodles (requires 9 lasagna noodles - unbroken)
• 15 ounces ricotta cheese
• 1 1/2 pounds (24 ounces) mozzarella cheese, grated or sliced
• 1/4 pound (4 ounces) freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Method
• Put pasta water on to boil:
Put a large pot of salted water (1 tablespoon of salt for every 2 quarts of water) on the stovetop on high heat. It can take a while for a large pot of water to come to a boil (this will be your pasta water), so prepare the sauce in the next steps while the water is heating.
• Brown the ground beef:
In a large skillet heat 2 teaspoons of olive oil on medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until it is lightly browned on all sides.
Remove the beef with a slotted spoon to a bowl. Drain off all but a tablespoon of fat
Cook the bell pepper, onions, and garlic; add back the beef:
Add the diced bell pepper and onions to the skillet (in the photo we are using yellow bell pepper and red onions).
Cook for 4 to 5 minutes, until the onions are translucent and the peppers softened. Add the minced garlic and cook half a minute more.
Return the browned ground beef to the pan. Stir to combine, reduce the heat to low, and cook for another 5 minutes.
Make the sauce:
Transfer the beef mixture to a medium-sized (3- to 4-quart) pot.
(The amount of sugar needed will vary, depending on how acidic the tomatoes are that you are using.)
Add salt to taste, and note that you will later be adding Parmesan, which is salty.
Bring the sauce to a simmer and then lower the heat to maintain a low simmer. Cook for 15 to 45 minutes, stirring often. Scrape the bottom of the pot every so often so nothing sticks to the bottom and scorches.
Remove from heat.
Boil and drain the lasagna noodles:
By now the salted water you started heating in step one should be boiling. Add the dry lasagna noodles and cook them to al dente, per package directions. (Note noodles may be cooked in advance.)
Stir often to prevent from sticking.
• Assemble the lasagna:
In a 9x13-inch casserole or lasagna dish, ladle a cup of sauce and spread it over the bottom of the dish.
• Bake:
Cover the lasagna pan with aluminum foil, tented slightly so it doesn't touch the noodles or sauce). Bake at 375°F for 45 minutes. Uncover in the last 10 minutes if you'd like more of a crusty top or edges.
• Cool and serve:
Allow the lasagna to cool for at least 15 before serving. Leftovers will keep for about 5 days. You can reheat it in a conventional oven or microwave. Leave the aluminum tent on for storage. (Try to keep the aluminum foil from touching the sauce.)
Enjoy!💗💗
so beautiful, feel like im a peeping thomasina just love watching you love on those cuties. ❤️❤️
