this is claimed to be "totally normal" as explained by Siemens engineers. this product is designed to make such clicking sound as soon as it reaches its maximum level of heating power. and if you turn on more than 2, in order to balance out the energy distribution, the mechanism inside, restarts every time it reaches its max capacity, which is ALWAYS. anyway, i fought too long with Siemens, and in the end they claimed this is the way it is and that I have to accept it. the thing is, if i knew that it made such stupid sound, i would not have bought it.
I have the same problem with Bosh induction hob. Bosch and Siemens are the same company so I think their engineers couldn’t manage to solve this problem. They said it is normal but I asked an electrician he said there is electrical relay problem, if relay works without any problem, it is a problem. with the others like Miele, lg… there is no problem. If they manage to solve problem, could u please write. I m from Turkey. Maybe in there, they will solve earlier.
It’s truly annoying. A very inefficient product. Mine is turning on but not heating. I have tried everything I have read the booklet but nothing is working. Can’t serve the dinner 😮
Thanks, siemens (or Bosch) has become too annoying and useless. I have switched to Miele, and gradually will replace everything Siemens or Bosch to LG and Miele. That's what happens when the companies become big - they get lost and arrogant
I would probably never buy Siemens again, I have a way too overpriced IQ700 cooktop and nothing but problems with it. Cooking sensors loose connection all the time during cooking, or they just don't work and overcook, if you turn on a second pan, the first one just stops momentarily, or sometimes even doesn't get warm anymore, heating levels are just never the same, one day something burns and the other day it just doesn't even cook. And sometimes the whole cooktop just gets stuck, then the pan is no longer heated, and if you remove it, the pan stays in the display as recognized. Just complete crap...

Wow I’m lucky I always thought Siemens was one of the better but after this I will probably look for Miele or LG. Thanks
