@LadyLuck33 there is only one book that mentions Jesus the son of Mary besides the new testament, and that is the qur'an. Now let's look at these two books and compare them. The new testament has undergone "revisions" several times. People have edited the new testament throughout history. And it is also not in the language Jesus would have been speaking. The qur'an is the most memorized document in the history of mankind... let alone religious scripture. If a single letter were changed, even the 8 year old Muslim children would correct the error. When we're deciding if a book is truly from God or not, I think the bare minimum criteria is that it must at least be in its original form and language.

Yeah I am Christian as well and as I am reading scriptures I noticed this is how he prayed and how prayers are done in the Bible. The more I read the more I realize people gave their own twists. But I will start to pray like this as well. I think this is the ultimate submissive position to God.

In Islam, one prays in using various positions including bending their heads toward the ground (by this we mean bending at the waist and having one's face looking toward the ground). Muslims pray a ritualistic prayer called salah or salat in Arabic, facing the Kaaba in Mecca, five times a day. Whereas Christians are not required to face towards Kaaba, because Kaaba is not where God resides, God is not restricted to specific location let alone Kaaba.

Praying got 2 meanings in Arabic what are you referring to is Dua which we do all the time. The prayer itself which is Salah is where we do like Jesus and Moses and Abram and Muhammed. Issue is now with English Language because in Latin and Hebrew they don't use the same word for when Jesus use his hand and lifted it up in the air as prayer but they use a different word and when Jesus goes to the ground they use the word for prayer like us. Dua and Salah according to the English Language are the Same word prayer but this isn't good since the language itself is weak it leads to many issues in it like this. So if you are saying he prayed with his hands lifted up the air surprise we do that everyday everywhere.

Now let's look at these two books and compare them. The new testament has undergone "revisions" several times. People have edited the new testament throughout history. And it is also not in the language Jesus would have been speaking.

The fact that Jesus prayed using this posture does not mean that he always did so. God is more interested in a prostrated heart than he is a prostrated body. Moreover, when Jesus taught the disciples how to pray in Matthew 6:5-15 he did not specify any posture at all
Yes the muslim way of the standard 5daily praying includes position such as standing, kneeling, bowing down with face on the floor (mat/carpet), and after that if asking for prayer supplications we do have raised both hands as well.

in Arabic what are you referring to is Dua which we do all the time.
The prayer itself which is Salah is where we do like Jesus and Moses and Abram and Muhammed.
Issue is now with English Language because in Latin and Hebrew they don't use the same word for when Jesus use his hand and lifted it up in the air as prayer but they use a different word and when Jesus goes to the ground they use the word for prayer like us.
Dua and Salah according to the English Language are the Same word prayer but this isn't good since the language itself is weak it leads to many issues in it like this.
So if you are saying he prayed with his hands lifted up the air surprise we do that everyday everywhere.

Prayer is talking to God and the power of prayer does not come from our praying positions or rituals. It is all from God. that is why we can be driving while praying and still be heard by God. We get that from John 4:23 where Jesus says, "But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him."
