This is going to sound weird but I have been going back to Elden Ring when I'm in a slump. It's a big world I can run around in and i know how the world works now that I can master it....while occasionally getting chased by death birds. 10/10
I'm currently in a gaming slump. It's been about a month. Each time I try to play something, no matter what it is, I last around 10 minutes, lose interest, and have to turn it off. I'm just watching a lot of movies and waiting for the interest to come back.
@BiscayneBarbie sorry to hear that. Just give it time. My interest in gaming came back a few weeks ago. I know the slump will inevitably come back at some point though.
My slump in part comes from not knowing what to play, I have bought a lot of games over the years and now I just don’t know how to choose, so I end up choosing nothing and not playing at all
When I’m dealing with a situation like that I leave it to chance!! You can number your games and use a random number generator, use a rhyme, pick two and flip a coin, or get someone else to narrow it down to 3 and pick one from there. Whatever method seems easiest for you is best :) And if that choice is also overwhelming then please use the number generator
Ooblets has been my current cozy game because of how easy it is to pick up and put down for other hobbies I have as well. I think the amount of choices has been overwhelming, and we put a lot of pressure on ourselves to want to play them as soon as they come out or try to stay in the know. It's definitely all about balance 💯
i missed your videos.. i agree last month I got into a gaming burnout and found myself wasting money and time on games that did not interest me. Even though they were “trending” games. I ended up going back to my past games that i loved and it got me back into it. I’m also a new gamer so right now i’m learning what kind of games i like and the type of gameplay…
Yess I am so glad you mentioned Baldur’s Gate 3! This one absolutely ejected me out of my gaming slump and I am obsessed. Even people who know me really well said it wouldn’t be my kind of game, but it’s been exactly what I’ve been missing!
been finding a lot of joy in potion permit lately. i can pick it up for a few minutes if that's all i have time or energy for but because the story element drives the game, it's given me a new outlook to how gaming can be self-care for me. it feels a lot more like picking up a book, which has led me both to reading and gaming more!!
I've been in a gaming slump too! Recently rediscovered my 3ds and have been playing New Leaf again. Have also ordered SOS trio of towns, never played it but heard it's one of the best!
My husband and I used to love to play professor layton on the ds together. The old professor layton games were the best. But also, BG3 is extraordinary.

I've been in a bit of a cozy gaming slump as well, but something about Coral Island has me hooked. I love how much character the NPCs have and the repetitive tasks don't seem dull. I've spent a good few months on this game and usually by this point, I get bored and try something new. But Coral Island hasn't done that for me :) I've also limited myself to one cozy game at a time, otherwise I get overwhelmed.
I missed your videos 🥹 I’ve actually have not been playing with my switch as much, got back to being obsessed with my DS and been enjoying reading on my kindle. I did however order princess peach because I have been waiting for this for years! ✨

Animal crossing, Cult of the lamb and Clubhouse games are my burnout games. These games help me unwind and chill until I'm ready to play a game with more intensity and challenge.
I wanted to be but it feels a bit thin. It's mostly just decorating your farm and I couldn't find myself caring enough about the characters. It's a shame because it's a lovely idea but I just couldn't get into it.

Although I’ve procrastinated playing these games for so long, when the picker wheel picks one, it just somehow sparks my interest to play it again, idk xD weird
I just finished mineko's night market unexpectedly but am glad I can keep playing after the credits to finish up a few things. I've been playing my xbox one gamepass lately trying to get all of the monthly rewards.
If you're looking for a cozy a little melancholic visual novel I can also reccommend Necrobarista- the last pour 💜 The graphics are really pretty and I loved the cafe setting and characters

I bought Palworld yesterday and it runs sooo badly in my pc, it's not very well optimized yet, so I asked for a refund. I have a total of R$80 to spend on games in my wallet since Steam wouldn't refund my credit card... And this is so weird, but for the first time I feel like there's no game I want. I am addicted to buying games, have around 160 on my account and 380+ on my whishing list. And yet I feel like there's no more games I want... Definitely a burnout coming in my way 😢
I really like your soft voice but for my taste the intro with 5-7 minutes (including ad) is too long. Maybe your videos would get longer watching times if you'd shortened this up?

My go to would probably be a retro style turn based rpg and one of my current pick up and play ones is the cruel king and the great hero.
