She came to speak for our school. Absolutely amazing. At the end we sang sweet Caroline (which is ironic because she said Caroline hated that song 😂) and i was crying so hard by the end of it.
Nevaeh I hope she would be proud of it. There are so many things that could be said, added, or done differently in the movie, but she had lived such a full life in such a short time that they couldn't possibly fit it all in the movie. I had shared my own disappointment that they didn't use the actual player's names except for Kelley. It would have involved a lot of paperwork and legal bulls**t for all of them to sign before using their names in the movie, but I still wish they would have done it. I didn't like hearing names that I knew didn't match the uniform number, but I'm just glad they made the movie. I am glad that they showed the photos at the end of the real team, of Ernie holding up Line's picture, and one photo that brings me to tears every time I look at is Brez and Squeaks facing each other with their foreheads touching. I'm not sure if that was taken after they won state in 2011 or another time. I guess I'll have to ask. #LLL
